I also can not believe Sony with no editing for posts on this blog. The photo gallery on the PS3 v2.60 update is not really a new feature to me.

I can not get my parallels running windows XP SP2 on my MacBook Windows Media Player library to share with my PS3. Yes, I followed the instructions on all steps from multiple online sources.

About the message system. Why not have a system like your email program or cellphone with a little envelope icon at the top or bottom of the screen with the option to open and/or reply to it?

I love the PS3 BD Remote, although Sony makes you buy it extra, a game controller feels unatural when watching DVD’s,video files(etc.) Also I have a Mac and love to incorporate Playstation into my Mac and vice versa. This is the first Sony product I bought that allowed me to do that with ease. The Apple program Remote Buddy makes it all perfect. I wish that Playstations were Apple products.

Except for a couple of games, when are you going to be bringing out more games? Sales are great for the PSP, but little in the way of games. So when are they coming ?

Sony PSP Techs,

You’ve wasted yet another chance for a progressive update. Forget security…if security were such an issue, then you would have put these homebrew folks out of business along time ago. Firmware v5.03 is a perfect example of you not listening to your audience, and problems relating to your audience. Sony needs PR(Public Relations, not security. So far, I’ve seen numerous posts with excellent ideas for progression. Your consumers frequently provide ideas. You have come through with none.

I realize that some of these ideas are not feasible; yet, I do not see PR explaining why they can’t have divx on the psp. I have not seen one floppy word as to why these folks should not go the homebrew path. If the meat market won’t provide porterhouse, but the thief outside will provide me with the whole cow, do you think I’ll visit the meat market? I want your PR person’s job. I’ll settle your problems. Send me an email.

Is there going to be eny updates that offer security that u can lock ur music, pictures, and videos instead of only the umd, games, and the internet browser for the psp??

ok SONY PSP, have a buddies list like the ps3 all we need is THE DANG BUDDIES LIST so we can see if people are online are talk to them here is the reason:u will get more psp sells saying that u can add peeps on ps3 to psp, when my dad tried to add me on his ps3 it wouldnt work cus we dont have a friends list, he was like oh well that sucks.lol i was like yea i know,so next update give us the friends list so i can add me dad on psp and send him messages and stuff,JUST GIVE US THE FRIENDS LIST OR BUDDIES LIST
THATS ALL WE NEED THEN THE PSP WILL BE COMPLETE!
WE WANT TO SEE IF PEOPLE ARE ONLINE OR SEND THEM MESSAGES AND SEE WHAT GAME THERE PLAYING, LIKE THE PS3! there should be an update with something i made up called PSP Home.PSP Home is like home on the PS3,just on the PSP.that would be so awesome!just imagine!chatting with people when your’re not “home”!

I Wish Sony Would Enable Adobe Flash Player Like The PS3 So U Can Watch Youtube Videos. And Put More memory in it for better internet browsing i heard that nintendo is going to release a new handheld system called the dsi it is suppost to make the psp look bad

My only PSP gripe is the music. I wouldn’t mind seeing better music organization. The PS3 organizes music really well, and I’d like to see that same kind of organization for the PSP. Also when plugging in headphones the music can be kind of quiet so I’d like to see the ability to increase the volume. The volume is only good enough for gentle listening but not earbleeding rocking out!.

Ok i heard you guys complaining about no in game music and no friends list, theres good news the xbox360 has both of those items and new avatars! i do have a psp though and im annoyed that u can’t contact other psp users on it like u can on the D.s. please fix it sony!

I have recently got the new PSP 3000 and was disappointed that WPA2 is not supported for wireless security. Are there any plans to add this support to the device?

MY PSP FIRMWARE IS VERSION 5.02. I RECENTLY RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM PSP REGARDING THE UPDATE TO 5.03. I DOWNLOADED THE FIRMWARE TO MY IMAC, THEN COPIED IT TO THE UPDATE FOLDER LOCATED IN THE GAME FOLDER, PARENT FOLDER PSP. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO UPDATE, I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE STATING THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED (80020148). I’VE TRIED VARIOUS, COMMON TACTICS FOR THE PSP TO LOAD FIRMWARE 5.03, BUT NO LUCK. I HAVE THE SLIM PSP, MODEL PSP-2001. WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?? THANX.
