Choose from 40 of the NHL’s top players and bring them into this no rules hockey game where big heads and big hits rule the day. With loads of power-ups falling on the ice to the ability to level a guy clear out of the rink, this is definitely not your typical simulation. Man, what a beauty is Killzone 2, the gameplay just sucks you into the game, at first its a bit difficult to get used to the controls and not miss all the stuff that’s happening around yoi, but in my the second play through the demo, I was completely at home.

Killzone was good.

Killzone Liberation(PSP) was the best multiplayer experience on a handheld(infrastructure).

Killzone 2, well…I haven’t had this much fun with a FPS since Quake 3 Arena (core gameplay).

Sorry Master Chief, the King has arrived…Long Live KZ2.

You failed.

I played it and it was awesome.

Just an average update, I’m going to wait a few weeks to see if I get back into HSG before I buy the new course. Phantasy Star Portable demo was kind of cool but I already quit playing PSU so I’m not sure I’ll play the full game.

Please make the update earlier, like it used to be. The next time the update hits 8PM EST I’ll refuse to buy anything that gets released that week. I don’t really mind 7PM so I can get new stuff after dinner, but you guys are letting the time slip by and next thing I know it will be midnight before I get my content… which means FRIDAY!

PS: I did decide against my better judgement to get Bejeweled 2. Something to play between sessions of Super Stardust HD, Super Stardust Portable, or DJMax.

+ Gibb on February 6th, 2009 at 3:53 am said:

Can someone explain how $29.99 = €34,99 ???

First the $10 discount on the US store alone, and now this?

Note: I did purchase BP:UE, so it’s not that I think it’s too much, but I was fine with the near 1:1 dollar/euro conversion.. and now we get this? What’s up with the PSN pricing lately?

121

+ Gibb on February 6th, 2009 at 3:55 am said:

Might as well add: the Blu-ray version is €29 at a local retail store.

I really love PSN games, tbh, I download more PSN games than I buy Blu Ray games, because PSN offers me games that I find very interesting. I’ve already downloaded over 30 games. I bought Cuboid and Lumines at the same time from the EU store, next week Flower, soon Flock, Noby Noby Boy. So far I have no PS3 Blu Ray release in the upcoming months of which I want to buy. Perhaps the Asian version of Demon’s Souls but that’s almost it. PSN is a lifesaver now, so Sony and devs who read this, keep them coming :)

123

+ Onna76_NL on February 6th, 2009 at 4:43 am said:

@Gibb, better save your Blu Ray lens and buy the download is my advice. Online distribution is more than welcome to me now, ever since my PS3 its blu ray drive got busted within 8 months of usage :-( Only download should be a lot cheaper guys! Loco Roco 2 for instance in the EU store, 30 Euro! That’s like 35USD! Ridiculous.

Hello, Im from Brazil and I would like to inquire you about PS Network for Latin America, When will it be available?
Nowadays we are forced to sign the PSN from Portugal (similar languages), and make a pre-paid card (wich charges U$ 0,99, every U$ 20,00 we transfer to PSN account) in order to purchuase new releases frm PS Store. Sony underestimated the latin american market, due to a sales research for PS2 wich indicated people buy PS2 but not original games. Now on PS3 era, there still people byuing games and acessories for PS3 (in great quantity) but still we dont have our have our place on PSN, or either unite all continents, wich in my opinion is better (but Ill leave this to Sony´s judgement).

I sincerely wish Thanks to everyone who had the patience to get this far on my “letter”, and just to make it clear, I am not complaining, I love everything related to Sony. Thanks again, and congratulations for this Fantastic Blog, I read it everyday as a main source for all PS information.

Best Regards.

Vary fun PSP demo though I hope the colors are better on the full game though it may just have been the lighting in that one level.

I liked it but the action was was a bit underwhelming. As well as the sound other then the music was witch was great.

I still look forward to the game on release day. Please more PSP store love! A demo of Resistance: Retribution, and some of the other games coming to the PSP would be great!

@131 drumbike

On the main planet, scroll down to the fourth choice “LBP Store”. There is a selection to the right that says “my content”. It bring you to another planet. On that planet is the items from the store. scroll around and find the MGS levels. Hit “X”, then you should see the 5 levels.

BTW. Incredible DLC for LBP. Comes with Specific trophies and stickers.

Thanks for the update. Can you make sure the the store monkey isn’t sleeping when he should be updating the store.

so-so, update. I loved the 3×3 nhl demo, Phantasy Star is all full of goodness. BTW can you tell Sega that they need to release a full version, non-online, of Phantasy Star. I’ve been buying the “Sega Collections” To play 1-4, need my fix with a 5, thank you.

Can you also tell GameStop to stop putting money in your pocket with the moronic pre-order demos. I never pre-order, I know the bonus and other things are good for others who like it. And it also allows you to judge the copies you need to manufacture. But Demos should be for everybody. Look at the threads, the EU are angry that the US is “stealing their interwebz”.

I am the biggest playstation supporter around ride or die but they gotta get it together with the online games. Turtles in Time, X-men Arcade, The Simpsons Arcade games are just a few ideas. The public has spoken countless times about these games but still no action at all. It’s all about the classics Street Fighter HD was a great start now lets keep improving

For one instance genius game stores do not sell regular ps1 games anymore not around me they dont. Ebay is the only place u can get them and im not paying 200 bucks for suikoden 2 and final fantasy 7. And if u would read what i said im asking sony to make the classics for the ps3 likke suikoden 6 or parasite eve 3 you cant buy these games at a store genius they havent even been made or thought of for all we know yet. And good job on calling people lazy u stayed in all night playing 3 on 3 nhl ur life must be exciting.
