In the upcoming (just 12 days away!) Killzone 2, the ISA forces lead an assault of the planet Helghan. But that doesn’t mean the Helghast are on the defensive. In fact, my intel tells me that the Helghast forces are en route to PlayStation Home today.
Fortunately, the Helghast won’t be armed with STA-52 Light Assault Rifles (per se), but with demo codes for Killzone 2.
So if you don’t already have access (by pre-ordering), just jump into Home tonight starting at about 6pm Pacific (9pm Eastern) and keep an eye out for the Helghast soldiers. When you find one, work up the courage and… just ask. If they’ve got any left, they’ll direct message you with the demo key.
Then you can punch that code into the PlayStation Store (upper right corner), download the demo, and repay the Helghan emissary by… invading their planet. Oh well.
Haha nice and ive already played the demo like 20 times! It’s going to be a game we will all remember!

Now, I just wish you guys gave out Helghast suites :(… I really wanted one but I didn’t want to buy from Amazon :(

Yeah, I, like many downloaded the demo from the EU store. Not to rain on the parade for you guys or anything, but that demo should be available to all for marketing purposes. That game needs to sell well to make the (I assume horrendous) development costs pay off. We’ll see, I know I’m buying a copy.

I would make more sense to me if they gave out Home clothing or something like that instead of demo keys, but meh, it’s their deal.
Pfft, no way in hell I could beat out a throng of other players swarming anything that even resembles a Helghast soldier from a distance. I’ve got the game pre-ordered, and off of Amazon.com no less, so I’ll be one of those soldiers myself in a short while (by the way, when does that “short while” end? I have no idea when they’re going to send me my code for the outfit).
Hmm . . . why not? I already have it thanks to my EU account, but I was going to be hanging out in Home today anyway; may as well have some fun.

WTF are you talking about? Things like this happen in Home all the time. John D. was giving out d/l codes for every Capcom game on PSN awhile back.
Not to mention Warhawk and SOCOM were awarded for a contest yesterday.
Home picks up. Can’t wait till something’s released that’ll get my non gamer actual RL friends to join in.

For those who ordered off of amazon, we won’t get the costumes till sometime just after the launch of the game. Least that is what I read somewhere I think.

I already got the demo, but for those who don’t this is great. Also at first I thought this was the weapon give away, I hope I don’t miss my chance at that it would be awesome to have a replica.

last time they had me running around for the killzone guy all i got was a message to pre-order the game from amazon, i think what they really want is for as many people to log into home and maybe just maybe some suckers will buy virtual items, ps3 is becoming the milk wagon that xbox 360 already is
you guys should do one of those parties again, like a killzone party, and sell the killzone costume for like $1.00 and not only will we get our favorite evil trooper as a costume, but you guys make $$$

Hear me out please. This is reguarding the PlayStation Network trophies.
I for one enjoy grabbing trophies while I play a game, but there is one thing that drives me crazy reguarding trophies. This is the lack of polish going into the trophies. What I mean is many games are starting to lable “NovaStrike Trophies” and “Wipeout HD Trophies” or even “Street Fighter IV Trophy pack”. This makes the trophie list look very un-proffesinal and unpolished. Is there anyway you can pass this onto the Japanese Q&A and get these this enforced so the trophie list titles are “WipeOut HD” and “NovaStrike”?

Will this demo have mp on it? If not then i dont need to get on home. Cuz half or 75% of PS3 users played the demo already by getting it from Gamestop or by making a UK name. So are we going to get anything else from the demo or the same as the gamestop and uk demo?

see i am from saudi arabia and here we have many copy’s of killzone2, i remember reading somwhare that thees copy’s wont have online in thim but this is not the same copy as the one’s in that news i heard of
