To #63 next-Gen-Gamer I know someone else who has had this problem as well and has even tried a new disc and it didnt work.

Anyways, why is it that the opponents names no longer show up above their vehicles while play online? I really liked knowing who i was passing, crashing, etc. Just wondering.

I don’t know about anyone else but I have NEVER, not one single time, gotten the online to work with this game. I try every time I play it, which is about 2 times per week and it always says there was an error communicating with the server. It’s so frustrating!

I can’t understand why people are complaining about hard trophies. I can imagine beating all the developer times is hard, but about everything else will come sooner or later even without superb skill. Online ranks aren’t that hard to reach, because you only lose percentage when you finish last or quit. Hardware trophies should be removed from all games (2-controller trophies are OK, though). For example, Burnout Paradise has a trophy, that you can get only by having the PS Eye. This prevents me from getting the platinum from BP.

P.S. Before you call any trophies hard, get the platinum trophy from WipEout HD.

Excellent, thank you thank you! going to update my now!. I just Evo would have adjusted the insanely! intense! difficulty of the rank 8 races. I finally got all gold on all ranks, but it took me FOREVER to get all gold in the rank 8 races to the point were it was pure frustration and not fun.

I normally play online with just friends, the room is locked down so that only us play. It would be great if:

1. We could have some bot cars racing with us. If we are racing 1v1 its a bit empty.

2. Why can’t we play split screen online? Gears of War, halo etc etc all have online splitscreen on the 360 and its a real missing feature. We currently have to take turns at the same ps3 and its taking the shine off an otherwise great game.
