i’d hafta agree: as much as I enjoy seeing the PopCap games on PSN, charging $9.99 is outrageous. I want them, but I’m gonna hold off until then, hoping the price will go down.

And more importantly, waiting for Bomberman Ultra ^_^

But great update nonetheless. Something for everyone! I was excited to see some demos too! ^_^

Killzone 2 Trailer
Bunch of videos

Awesome update

Got my Syphon Filter voucher in the mail last night.

Already bought Loco Roco 2 and am loving it.

Killzone 2 on the way from Amazon for the 27th

Just checked over the 2009 SCEA release list. Oh. My. God. And we haven’t even gotten to the E3 surprises yet….

Heck of an update. Can’t wait for Noby Noby Boy to finish downloading.

Definitely picking up the Legendary Car Pack for Burnout. Seriously Criterion deserves the money they are going to get from it seeing as they’ve constantly update their game with Free DLC over the course of the year, such as motorcycles, new missions, a day/night cycle, a weather cycle, 3 new online modes, and 100+ online team-based objectives.

Shoot, I would have sent them $8 as a free donation if only they’d asked. Exchanging $8 for 4 (very cool) novelty cars is an easy decision.

60

+ Maluraq on February 19th, 2009 at 3:12 pm said:

@TheZed88 I don’t mind that people can buy the cars, its easy money for Criterion. Its not even really a competitive issue on-line, since if they couldn’t manage to unlock those cars themselves, they’re probably not much of a challenge to beat on-line either.

61

+ TakiFuGu on February 19th, 2009 at 3:13 pm said:

It’s only a few character’s costumes on the Street Fighter IV DLC. It’s not even for all the roster LOL!!! Whatever happened to just playing the game to unlock the costumes? That’s just BS!!! Not only I have to buy the game for $65 and $150 Arcade stick. I have to buy a stupid costume DLC for $3.99.

Two words for you Capcom! “F U”

HI
I HAVE A QUESTION
you said Qore subscribers will get free Syphon Filter. When are you sending the codes??

Also, tell PopCap Games that at $9.99, I and many other people will not be buying their games. It should be no more than $4.99

I guess they cant do that because they don’t expect the sales to double if it was 4.99 instead of 9.99 :(

72

+ WestSiide on February 19th, 2009 at 3:25 pm said:

Weak update. The only thing that would of caught my interest is a Killzone demo, but nope Sony f’s everything up as usual. If the game or even the demo is so amazing, why wouldn’t they put it up on the store to allow everyone to access it in a easy manner? Believe it or not there are still a lot of people who still have not heard of this game and those are exactly the ones that should be baited by the demo. What a waste.

Alright, everything appears to be working now. Good call on categorizing the content into their own folders. Downloaded Noby Noby and am playing it now!

@ WestSiide

Do you even have a PS3? Why don’t you have an avatar? Also, there are millions of pre-orders for the game already, so a LOT of people know about it so far. Everyone gets the demo next week.

@ ANYONE WONDERING ABOUT NOBY NOBY BOY

Get it. Wow, what a bizarrely awesome game. It’s probably going to suck up a lot of my spare time every few days.

LocoRoco 2 demo! You mean I made a European PSN account for nothing??

Just kidding… I made a European account anyway for the WipEout Pulse download packs. It’s been over a year and I gave up. Just in case anyone forgot:

We now have WipEout-themed Little Big Planet costumes but the WipEout Pulse add-on packs are still nowhere to be found…

Update isnt horrible, just weak on content. Personally i dont care about lbp costumes and stickers or a bunch of videos. I remember the really horrible updates but by now im kinda expecting more ps1 classics, better demos like for ont of the biggest ps3 games coming out…KILLZONE. and basically just stuff that other regions have and have had for quite some time now. I still dont quite understand why the killzone demo isnt out yet. Some say its coming next week. How official that is who knows but my thing is if its coming next week then great but IT SHOULD OF BEEN OUT BY NOW IN THE U.S. where i believe fps’s are one of the more popular genres.
