I tried the Zuma demo and liked it pretty well (wasn't familiar with the game at all previously), but the way the left-stick control works prevents me from buying.

My thumb hurts! I've never had this happen with a PS3 game before, but my left thumb gets very, very sore playing Zuma because you have to hold the stick all the way to the maximum extent at all times to accurately and smoothly steer the shooter. Not good, and painful.

If this control ever gets modified, it's a buy for me, but pain just isn't on my list of game features.

Ok.. I just got off the phone with PSN. This is how to fix ZUMA. Go back to the store and go to DEMOS - find ZUMA demo and download it.
Then after that it will show up and work. The ZUMA you paid for was only 6mb reason why it is the key to unlock the demo that you should have downloaded first. When you look in your download list you wil notice it says Zuma Full Game (Unlock).
Would be nice if the PSN store had this clearly wrote out on the site.

I like the game I had it on my 360 before I got rid of it and bought my PS3. It downloads and then the game is not under my game list. It shows up under downloads in the PS store but not on the crossbar. I'm currently in S. Korea, does that have anything to do with it?

Ya so i just got a PS3 friday and today Saturday I thought I would check out the store and buy a small game just to see how downloading and playing works out. Well, I bought Zuma figure my 7yr old would like it.
Anyways, It says downloading and then installs and complete.. Well nothing is anywhere on the PS3 to play it .. i downloaded a demo game and that works. Then i notice that the file size of Zuma is only 6mb.
What the heck is that? So now i would like to know how do i get my money back or the full game fixed. Not happy with PSN atm. Calling them and you get no answer. I will try again in the morning. But if anyone here has any clue that would be nice.

Hi Greg, thanks for Zuma; I checked out the demo and it looks like a fun game.

However, my left thumb is VERY sore after playing a few rounds! To get smooth aiming control, it seems we're forced to hold the left stick all the way to the edge of its maximum movement, and that gets very hard on the thumb after a while. Unless it's held all the way over, aiming movement is very sticky, clunky and inaccurate.

I don't see any reason it has to be this way, so I'll wait for a control adjustment before buying; I don't need any new thumb problems!

Thanks.

Tried demo. It's OK, but I will definitely not buy this for 10 bucks. Will stick to demo, it has everything I need from this game (do not really care about trophies).

So after playing the demo, I am NOT buying this game which I loved so much on the PC years ago. First off the price is too much and you get nothing extra/exclusive except trophies. And what the hell is up with the graphics? the game looks like its running in standard definition!!?? and why is there a huge grey boarder surrounding the entire game interface? Bejewel 2 is full screen and truely looks HD cause its so crystal clear, but Zuma does NOT look crystal clear and does not even run in full screen. Zuma is a 101% exact port of the PC version, not even improved visuals or nothing and yet still charging $10... not good, not good.

@Thataide, thanks for the tip, really, lower the price and then I'll buy it instantly! You can check my trophy collection, I'm a real PSN game whore, but if the 360 version really is half the price, it ain't fair!
