Hello all – Only one more day until the SCENE Expansion for Metal Gear Online is released! That means only one more day until the pre-order period ends, and your opportunity to get the “cardboard man” head gear for free! You can purchase the SCENE Expansion by itself for $9.99, as a bundle with the MEME Expansion for $14.99, or for the best value, get all three Expansions, GENE, MEME, and SCENE, all for only $17.99. All three options are available now via Metal Gear Online’s in-game shop and Konami’s shop. Along with all other normal methods of payment, you will be able to use PayPal as a form of payment, and the PlayStation Network Wallet payment system will be coming soon.
As part of what is included in SCENE, you can acquire three new Skills.
The First of these is CQC (Close Quarters Combat) EX. In order to obtain this skill, you have to execute a CQC maneuver 200 times with CQC Mastery Lv3 equipped. Once you have this skill, your character will automatically counter an opponent’s CQC attack.
You can also gain Toughness, by receiving a knockback, knockdown, or blow away type attack 100 times. Once you have this Skill, your character will be able to endure knockdown attacks and recover time will be decreased.
The third Skill you can gain is Charm, by getting distracted by a magazine 100 times. It’s similar to Mei-Ling’s special skill, where holding the salute pose will have the same distracting effect as a magazine. The salute motion will also change to one of three different exclusive random animations.
There will also be some new Top Elite emblems in the SCENE Expansion. If you earn the emblems, you’ll receive a free in-game t-shirt! Here are two to check out, the Fighting Fish, which you can unlock by playing a series of Death matches, and Arctic Skua, which you can unlock by playing through a series of Solo Capture missions.

Sorry to sound so harsh, I love everything about this game, I just want to make it better. everything else about the game, except the skills, makes me love it even more.
Basically I want the MGS series to be more popular than anything with more players online than Halo, and i really do think those ideas help.
Anyway until all that happens I’ll enjoy playing as Vamp and Raiden! xD
lol but i also forgot to add that they should integrate with PSN and have no more Konami IDs! that’s f—‘n ridiculous

Let me buy it, and I’ll buy it! I’m getting an error EVERY time with both my Mastercard and Paypal, and the PSN Wallet option doesn’t work either. I’m thinking it’s because I live in Canada and not the US or Japan… pitiful. Do you want my money or not? Fix this junk.

This is my next expansion. Raiden is my favorite character from the Metal Gear Solid series. Plus those special shirts and maps look awesome.

Perfect game in every way, kick ass online…but whats up with the level system?! I shot at someone a million times and they shot me once and i die…what up
Aim for the head, this game greatly rewards headshots.
I took a break from killzone last night because I bought the scene exspansion. I was playing capture and hold. I ended uo bein the host and I have 20/20 fios.
Im not real quick to accuse of cheating and I have logged many hours in shooters. I have not logged too much time on this game. I joined a game that was supposed to be run by a group of players. Auto aim was blocked. When using the sameranged weapons I found that the other team was scoring headshots at great distance(not using sniper weapons) I used the same weapon (M4) and could kill them at the same distance. My whole team would not score more than 3-5 kills the whole round. They would pop out at great distance and score one shothead kills with M4. It seemed kind of strange. I moved into closer range before firing and still could not kill them.
So question: does the game reward you through experience points the ability to pull super human one shot kills or do you think there was cheating going on?
Why were they able to kill me with the same weapon,at the same distance and I could not scratch them? Many time I had the first shots on them in a sneak and they would turn and make a one shot kill after I pumped half a clip at thier head.
i just want to say..
with all of you whining about trophys and psn intergration.
konami does not care what you think about trophys ect..
they’ll just shut down the servers like the last mgo.. so please just stfu. cause i want this mgo too last a long time
