Cool, thanks for the heads up, altho I was able to queue up everything for download quick before I got the error so all is well in my case.
Btw can someone explain why since I linked my accounts on here it doesn’t show my PSN avatar image nor does it use my PSN name?
Jeff Rubenstein replied on March 19, 2009 at 7:30 pm
I’ll see if I can fix it for you.

I think we should all get a free game because this problem is OUTRAGEOUS!
Ok I lie no problems for me but still a free game would make my day/week/month/year/maybe lifetime.

So, what is exactly the problem? Servers being hit hard or something?
I’m more curious about what the 8…. error means more than anything.

@ 10….”losting”??
Seriously?? You should spell check before you post. It might make you look slightly more intelligent, slightly.
I doubt Sony is really LOOSING much money right now. As I’m sure those that wanted to make a purchase, will surely make said purchase once the PS store is back up.

Thanks for the update, hope everything gets sorted out quickly. Actually, I was able to buy the CoD: WaW map pack a few minutes ago before the store dropped my connection. I still want to get the FIFA ‘09 add-on and the Red Alert demo. Guess I’ll have to wait while my 702 MB map pack slowly downloads…. :S

The psn store confirmed my purchase of the waw dlc and before it started downloading I got a server error. Now the only option is for me to preview it. How do I get my download without getting ripped off?

@26
I wouldn’t normally care about spelling, but since he was criticizing the other guy about it, it was too good to pass up.

Thanks for the info. You guys do a great job keeping us up to date.

Brandon_2535 | March 19th, 2009 at 8:01 pm
Yeah, our download speeds aren’t that great. They are awesome for the PSN being free, I just wish our speeds were like 360’s speeds. And I’m a PS3 fanboy, so it takes a lot of effort to say that.
39
TanZong | March 19th, 2009 at 8:01 pm
@23, 26, & 33
LOL!!! Guess that’s what I get. I’m not usually one to point that out either. Maybe I should refrain in the future….

mgrantz | March 19th, 2009 at 8:04 pm
Thanks for the update. I was able to quickly initiate the Red Alert 3 Demo earlier b/w the errors. That d/l is almost done!

Did you even look at the post? Come on now guy, it’s not that long…
46
S_Y_N_1_S_T_3_R | March 19th, 2009 at 8:05 pm
@10 it’s not that he spelled it wrong, it’s that he didn’t even use the right word.
47
mkis0077 | March 19th, 2009 at 8:05 pm
@ 25 just go to ur download’s menu when the store is back up, should still be in there
48
ca36gtp | March 19th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
I usually get 6-8Mbps downstream over PSN. I wish it would use more of my 20Mbps fiber connection, but it’s not slow enough to complain.
