What’s up Home-boys and Home-girls?
We have some über-cool events scheduled for this week that we want to hip you all to. First, we are holding a live Q&A session with John Diamonon and Seth Killian from Capcom today, March 4th. This chat will focus on all things related to Street Fighter IV and will give a few lucky attendees the chance to win a more intimate follow-up Q&A (complete with an SFIV tips and tricks tutorial) in a private clubhouse at a later date.
To participate in the general Q&A, just bring your bad self over to the Gamer’s Lounge today between the hours of 7:00 – 9:00pm PST (10:00 – 11:00pm EST) – and don’t be afraid to show up dressed as your favorite SFIV character! To start, John and Seth will be tackling the most popular questions culled from the official PlayStation Home forums (under the usernames “HIERO9D3” and “clothhand”), but will hold a brief open chat afterwards. These two gents will be “instance-jumping” throughout the event, so if you’re in the Gamer’s Lounge and you don’t see them, cool out and sit tight! They’ll be making the rounds.
To qualify for the private chat, make sure you attend the general Q&A decked out in the Dan Saikyo shirt (unlockable in Home). Attendees sporting this hot reward will be entered into a drawing and then chosen at random to participate. If you make the list, we’ll send you details via private message in your XrossMediaBar regarding the time and date of the follow-up session.
In other news: We’re launching the Resident Evil 5 game space tomorrow, March 5th. So dress yourself up in that free Resident Evil gear available in the Mall, check out the new space, and learn more about the game before it launches later this month. We’ll be looking out for you!

Excellent news. I’ll probably skip the SF IV Q/A since I don’t really have any questions but if you have one for RE5 at a later date, I’ll be sure to be there!
But I will go check out the RE5 Home space. Also, why was I not informed that there’s free RE5 loot at the mall? :P

Warhawk and SOCOM vouchers were not for participants in the Gamer’s Lounge launch day event, they were for the Valentine’s Day “I Love Ninjas” Event. We’ve concluded the fulfillment process for the Ninjas event. However, we’re not above the off-mistake. PM me on the forums with the username associated with your avatar at the time of the contest. We have a comprehensive, 100% accurate list of all the winners, and trackings on all the vouchers.

Got on Home at 10:15 EST and waited til 11:15 EST and saw nobody, i guess i was 15 minutes late for whenever they showed up in my Home instance thing Game Lounge.
I would have hoped someone asked when are they gonna fix Match Making cause it’s severely broken. There are multiple reasons why it’s broken but i’ll give just 1 for now.

Time Limit (ANY)
Search Priority (Same Skill)
Language (ANY)
My current BP = 636
Results……..Cannot find anyone…
And even if i keep trying i might find 1 person. Then if they happen to have 3 bars or more I have a 1/3 chance of actually joining the match which would be reason #2.
Guess i gotta wait and see what was talked about.

If it can speed up the release of the trophy room, there does not need to be 3D representations of every single trophy out there. I think only the Platinum and maybe some of the Gold trophies need to be actual 3D trophies in home.
Too many 3D trophies would be pointless since they would decrease the perceived value of the trophies in Home. The way I see it, each person’s trophy room should only be occupied by a few (but very ornate) trophies to commemorate a tough goal such as a platinum trophy.
Perhaps the bronze and silver trophies could just be the individual trophy icons used in the XMB now, except framed as pictures on a wall or something to make them 3D.

I think that PlayStation Home could “truly” evolve and become something great if you guys keep brining us weekly updates like this. Just like the store, update Home every week by bringing like new game spaces,new arcade machines, new mingames to play except for bowling and pool,and stuff like that. BTW, I am still waiting on those Sony Bravias. Hopefully we will be able to use them for something useful though and not just watch trailers on them.
