WHAT HAPPEN TO DIVX, CAN’T PLAY THIS FORMAT ANYMORE AFTER UPGRADE TO 2.70, PLEASE BRING IT BACK FOR LOVE OF PLAYSTATION FANS. I WILL SOLD PS3 IF DOESN’T FIX SOON.

DO YOU LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?

I am mostly using the PS3 to stream video from my network. Everything was peachy until release 2.70. Now nothing works. Hopefully it is something that can be patched up in short order. If it was done by design then you are bigger morons than I thought. I know many people that use the PS3 to stream video content just like I do and I imagine they feel the same way. So you can expect an onslaught of PS3s on eBay if you don’t fix this soon. Idiots.

And Europe any idea when we will get a video store it’s been something like a year now since it was released in only!!! the US.

About time Sony started stepping up and supporting ALL regions.

Please read and let me know if any of this is possible or even taken into consideration for the next firmware update:

1). The ability to use the In Game XMB for PS1,PS2, DVD and Blu Ray titles!

2). The ability to own not just rent HD movies on the Playstation Store! Hopefully its not a studio thing.

3). The ability for PSN to leave the purchased symbol on movies (like you do on the games we purchased) we already own so I dont have to buy that movie again, I can just redownload it. Just in case I upgrade my Hard Drive and run into problems!

4). The ability to have more options to choose from on the Visual Player not just the current 3!

5). In Game Chat with a highlight option to select which friend or friends you want to talk to and be able to talk to them no matter if there in Home or another game (through the headset)!

When will you be releasing PLAYTV to the United States? I have cable and just need the PlayTV box to get the digital video recorder functionality. I would buy a second Playstation 3 (for my bedroom) if PlayTV were around.

I would much rather buy PlayTV rather than a Tivo, Windows Media Center PC, or something of the sort.

Wow. I was waiting to see if ANYONE was complaining about NAS media servers not working with this new Firmware update, but I guess it’s only limited to the forums?

SONY: I’m from Canada. I don’t want any movies. Just more good video game downloads.

That might be a studio thing. Some of the latest video releases – like “Zach & Miri make…” and “Extreme Movie” have HD purchase options.

These are the main things I would like added to the Playstation Store:

1). HD movies to own instead of just to rent on Playstation Store!

2). PS2 games for download for those of us that have backwards compatability!
