YOU want psn to be like xbox live, I would like them to continue making it the way they have been, if i wanted xbox live I would waste my money on an xbox and xbox live.
xbox live?? naaaaah just voice chat and backwards for ps3 …we don’t need more than that.
sony thanks for 2.7 so now i cant wait for 2.8 when i can use voice chat as im playing my game or watching movies…sony thanks!!

“As you probably know, PS3 Firmware 2.70 was the highlight of the week, adding Text Chat, Friends List enhancements and more.”
Your sense of humor is wicked. Firmware 2.70 was definiately a huge upset. Selling text chat as a kick-ass feature in 2009 pisses me really off and I think it makes a lot people feel, you’re making fools out of your PS3 customers especially as the community is requesting ingame/cross-game voice chat since the beginning. As a XBox 360 owner I would die of laughter (is this your strategy)!!?
You want to align with reality? Have a look how good your new firmware 2.70, the text-chat feature, the lack of ingame/cross-game voice chat comments: https://blog.playstation.com/2009/04/01/ps3-firmware-v270-update/comment-page-36/#comments

Well I found the 2.70 firmware update a nice one, despite what others said. The fact that Tri Ace has opened a teaser site for their upcoming, unknown RPG for on the 360 and… PS3 and that Tales of Vesperia has been announced to come to the PS3, sure made a nice week :-) Jak & Daxter well, but was more hoping for an official release on the PS3 from Naughty Dog. Though I’m sure the PSP / PS2 versions are gonna be great.
