I just don’t see how Flock is worth 15 dollars. I know I won’t be getting that. I’m still on the fence about Rag Doll Kung Fu.

Not that excited except for the free Phillies them! That I will take. Actually, besides a few other game videos and Pulse, there isn’t anything that peaks interest! Damn you PSN!

Been playing Rag doll Kung Fu since the EU PS Store update released earlier today.

It’s really great.

Flower, Rag doll Kung Fu and CometCrash are the three best PSN releases so far this year.

@8

I agree. I will buy 2 games for $9.99 at the same time before buying something for $15.99.

Actually, I think Wipeout was the only thing I’ve ever bought for 15.99 and I am happy with my choice!

+ Glacier928 on April 9th, 2009 at 1:37 pm said:

once again, sony fails to bring PS1 titles to the PS Store…is it that hard to release at LEAST one PS1 title a week?!

16

+ usjvc on April 9th, 2009 at 1:37 pm said:

PSN games started at 2.99
Then 5.99
Then 7.99
Then 9.99
Now 14.99

What the hell? I am afraid that in 6 months each game will be sold at 29.99..anyway fact it that I won’t be ever purchasing a PSN game above 5.99, that is a fact!

[This post ONLY refers to this week's PS Store for PSP Update.]

Aside from that Patapon 2 Theme, none of this week’s PSP update interests me at all. Ah well, thanks for the update nonetheless. On a more positive note, it’s great seeing the PS Store updates ready so early in the day for the past few Thursdays.

23

+ Haskell420 on April 9th, 2009 at 1:41 pm said:

Not a MAJOR update. I got the Flock demo 2 months ago, it’s ok, but NOT worth 14.99. Hell, Wheel of Fortune was a ripoff for 14.99..And I’m SOOO glad those questions I asked the Sony guy on the phone were answered truthfully.. couhing ..YEAH RIGHT LOL..

Sonic Ultimate demo.. it has potential, until we see the actual games we get in it.

A very BLAH week.
And SOOOOOOOOO disappointed at the Godfather 2 space… Dark,, and yeah you can play cards, but yuo can’t text messages while you play?

WEAK

+ Jeigh on April 9th, 2009 at 1:42 pm said:

Yeah, that $15 price tag was an eye-opener for me too. The difference between $10 and $15 may seem minor, but for that amount I could get two or three games off of PSN. At that point I’d need more than what could be classified as a mini-game within a full retail game.

25

+ animagnum on April 9th, 2009 at 1:42 pm said:

As usual, a great PS3 update and shovelware PSP update.

26

+ KSPRAYDAD on April 9th, 2009 at 1:43 pm said:

Grace…any chance SCEA can see fit to add videos to all the games on the PSN so that I can get a ‘look’ at the game before buying it…seems the functionality is there but not being used much.

I know it is available ‘on the net’ but PSN purchases are impulse purchases and if I don’t see the info right there I’m more likely to just ‘move on’.

………………………………….

Any word on new release games from SONY’s 1st parties all being available on PSN from launch like in Japan?

The PSP titles coming out are horrible. Puzzle games… WHY? Where’s all the greatest hits? We want quality titles like Daxter, Ratchet & Clank or even recent games like Resistance!

29

+ Jeigh on April 9th, 2009 at 1:44 pm said:

@Haskell420 (23)

That’s fine and all, but you didn’t pay a dime for that space so bashing it is pretty arrogant and ungrateful. Let’s not bite the hand that feeds us free of charge, eh?

This is actually a fantastic update. 2 store games, a bunch of add-on content, themes, and videos, 2 demos and even a psp game to boot…

That said I find it really interesting how Nintendo has somehow taken better to releasing games from their old systems than Sony.

I mean, it’s not often Nintendo is ahead of Sony when it comes to online content…

…PSN PSP games are also very expensive. Take Parappa The Rapper. The game is 23$ CA. You can get it in stores for 10$…

35

+ KSPRAYDAD on April 9th, 2009 at 1:46 pm said:

@16

You should make exceptions on that price for WipEout and Burnout…but I get you gist…

For smaller games I’ve paid up to $10 and been happy with most purchases.

Most disappointing was Noby Noby.

Most surprising was AstroTripper.

I frankly would have paid 69 bucks for Wipeout HD if i had to. it is worth that price tag. Other PSN titles should be sold at 5.99 , and all DLC at 2.99.

Yay demos after 2 weeks of drought we see rain. No but seriously, I WILL NOT BUY FAT PRINCESS FOR $14.99. I’m sure a lot of others will agree with me on this. Keep it at 9.99 and you have my money.

So XboxLive Gets FLOCK! first, and when we still have to pay $15 for it? Phhhh.

If FLOCK! Had Platinum Trophy like Burnout ($19.99) than i would waste $15 for a game like flock. Now Flock isn’t a waste but for $15 it is.

Burn Zombie Burn = $9.99
Super StarDust HD = $7.99
==================
FLOCK! = $14.99
==================
Burnout Paradise = $19.99

which three is the logical choice?
