To most people, if you stop expecting something good to happen, you wont be disappointed on every update, and when something finally does come out thats good, you will be surprised.
This is best applied to PSN updates and not life in general lol.

@101 its pretty much been confirmed Heavenly Sword 2 wont be in existence given the developer is working on a multiplatform project and sales for the first weren’t that spectacular.
I loved the game myself.
Grace: Is the Heavenly Sword LBP pack free for people with the Best Buy pre-order bonus or do we have to buy it to get the additional costume and wind up with a duplicate on Nariko?
I’d also like to second the motion for SingStore updates in these posts. Or at least a separate post updating us on what’s new.
Whiners: What the hell are you guys complaining about? Saints Row 2 DLC! The game’s been out since October so the DLC was DEFINITELY not being sat on to milk people.
If NOTHING else came out this week it’d still be the best downloadable content update in Playstation Store history! There are a lot of weeks where people gush about a great update when it’s one crappy PSN game and a couple of lame videos, but this isn’t one of those weeks. This week is FANTASTIC!
Go on ebay and pick up some PSX games if that’s what you’re looking for, but mostly you guys need to shut up.
A decent PSN update that hits earlier than 11PM without at least 2 blog posts apologizing for being late? What’s the catch?

Heavenly sword didn’t sell all THAT much less than God of War 2, especially considering the market penetration of the consoles they were on.
Honestly I don’t expect a huge update loaded with ton of content every week.
But you’re crazy if you can look at all the PS1 Japanese games on their PSN and compare that to the US PSN and not think something is wrong there.
In brighter news for Canadians…Resistance Retribution is $19.99 at Futureshop starting tommorrow and the PS2 Batman Bundle is $99.99 at Best Buy.
Regarding Crystal Defenders…has it EVER been confirmed that the NA market is getting it? Could it not be yet ANOTHER example of SE snuggling with M$? Just asking.

Who the heck does EA think they are.. Theres like 25 bucks of content up there… would it have absolutely killed them to just include it with the game. I’m sure 60 bucks from everyone was plenty to cover it… EA needs to start thinking about the gamer and not just themselves
Alrightie … the worst thing that you can do is not communicate what is going on, as a general rule. This applies here, too. I’m obviously not the only one who wants to know why the PS3 is the only one not getting the promised Puzzle Quest Galactrix all these weeks, so I’m not the only one who would like to know when we’re getting the game, and if you’re a bit kind of heart, a why, too. I’m extremely frustrated by the lack of news, and we don’t know what’s coming until the moment it’s out.
Please, what does it take to get the PS3 version of a puzzle game? Can you just even tell us what’s going on here and why we don’t have it? Anything. I’m starting to get quite unhappy about this. I’ve been waiting months for this game, and it’s out on everything else already. It’s not like you have too many games being posted today.

Decent update but the fact that there aren’t any PSOne games released this year is worrysome.
Honestly.. I’m sick and tired of EA stomping all over the gaming world and trying to take over all the good companies while making games that are decent at best… STOP TRYING TO TURN THE VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY INTO A MONOPOLY OF HALF FINISHED GAMES! Sorry I just needed to get that one off my chest… otherwise this was a great update, I can’t wait to play UFC and Red Faction

TERMINATORvsMTRX: Stop buying it if you don’t like it. If enough other people are willing to pay so they keep making it you’re going to have to just accept that the market has spoken.
The world isn’t about you and it’s not taking anything away from you that this content is released for an additional cost. If you don’t think you got your $60 worth out of the game, sell it to recoup some of that expense. Or stop buying games for $60 if you think you’re being ripped off.
Seriously, the amount of whining on these issues is driving me nuts! If the DLC is ruining the full game for you, buy ANOTHER GAME! It’s not like there is any lack of top tier content available.
EA isn’t the only game in town and they’re not even the best game. They’ll stop releasing DLC that should have been in the initial release if people stop buying it. So by all means continue to make your voice heard, but NOTHING speaks louder than people not buying what they’re selling. You’re just going to have to convince a lot of people to also stop buying it.
So go do something constructive. I’d recommend picking up Saints Row 2, it’s pretty cheap now and will last you a good 70-100 hours if don’t hate fun.
TERMINATORvsMTRX: PS: There is EXACTLY $9.99 of Godfather II content in today’s update. Learn how to read and count, son. There are three packs ($3.99, $3.99, $6.75 respectively) that cost a total of $14.73 individually or ALL THREE packs bundled for $9.99.
That isn’t anywhere near $25.
I know nothing’s going to be done about it and EA will never stop. I never voice my opinion on here but when I saw all the content for Godfather II and how much it was I felt I needed to make it known how obvious it is what they’re doing. EA’s been doing this for a long time and I could care less, but when they tried to take over Take 2 they crossed the line. And yes Saints Row 2 is a bloody good time.
