Any Movie Contenets Coming To PSP Soon?

53

John-Shooter  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:20 pm

flock isnt as advanced as a game like burnout or any disc based games so 14 bucks is a bit insane for a downloadable game

i thought the same thing about the SF2 remix too i mean these are 2d downloadable games so 5-10 bucks is more reasonable .. when you get closer toward 20 bucks its more worth it to buy most disc based games at that price

What happened to Blu-ray/download releases by the way .. i mean we got what 3 now(burnout, socom, warhawk..) but are there any other games that are gonna be released via download that are also BD release?

54

Stuffgamer1  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:23 pm

STILL no Crystal Defenders…STILL no PS1 games…and to top it off, we’re missing Puzzle Quest Galactrix, which Live Arcade just got yesterday. What the heck, Sony? You’re just DETERMINED to not take my money. Week after week, not releasing that which is LONG overdue.

The only saving grace here is that Flock wasn’t delayed after the Live release yesterday, and that Rag Doll Kung Fu wasn’t the ONLY game of the week (which would’ve SUCKED!).

55

StalkingSilence  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:26 pm

$10 for 623 MB
$15 for 91 MB?

56

nov2rem  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:29 pm

As for the PSP PSN downloadable games, where are the hardcore games for the PSP? Another puzzle game for the PSP? meh.

Also it would be nice to release some PSone classics. Hopefully next week will be good.

57

ivedoneyourmom  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:29 pm

Glad to see that it’s yet another week of no PSOne Classics, what are you thinking? I would buy them in a second (if what you offered was anywhere as good as Japan’s) And where is Crystal Defenders, sure I have it on my iPhone already, but I would almost be willing to buy it for the PS3 if offered, because I want to at least get SOMETHING from Square-Enix. Fix this, or at least tell us WHY you are doing nothing.

58

ADR143  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:31 pm

getting rag doll!

59

angelcoma  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:32 pm

Getting Rag Doll kung fu.

Capcom made false promises about adding trophies in SFIIHDR and now they don’t want to… not buying another Capcom PSN game till they shape up and add the patch they promised.

60

LunaSaisho  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:33 pm

Whatever happened to Puzzle Quest Galactrix? It came out on XBLA yesterday, but no PS3 ver yet? *pout*

Any chance I could request a status on that one’s arrival to PSN?

61

DonnyG  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:33 pm

Thanks for the Red Sox theme, the Patapon2 theme is great too.

More PS1 games please!

62

Chadizzy  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:34 pm

Cant wait for KZ2 DLC!

63

Riokogen  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:35 pm

Why won’t they ever inform us about releasing PS1 games??? I want them so badly!

Here is what I would want…

Spyro Ripto’s rage
FFVII
FFVIII
Croc
Croc 2
FFIX

Plus this —> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_1_games

64

rbanke  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:38 pm

Ragdoll killed by motion controls.

Motion controls dont work well (they never do), makes the game simply frustrating, 5 minutes in and ive allready deleted a 10 dollar game.

65

remanutd5  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:39 pm

good update i bought rag doll kung fu , pulse should be weekly and longer lol , and Jeff i thought you guys were gonna have the motorstorm arctic edge and resistance retribution videos from the european store , they are pretty nice man , i am loving the dualshock 3 controller functionality in resistance retribution very nice , i hope motorstorm and little big planet have some sort of functionality like RR with R2 pretty nice

66

NeoUltima  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:41 pm

in search of more PSone game please

67

BrianC6234  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:42 pm

Great update. It sure is funny to read the crybabies complain.

68

TwinDad  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:43 pm

Meh. Your updates are no longer interesting when the high light is a demo for Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis collection.

Oh, Pulse too.

69

D-Squad3  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:44 pm

Wow 15 bux, that’s too much IMO for that game.

70

evildude683  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:44 pm

Still no Cuboid Add-on!?
Why the hell did you guys Bragg about it anyway?
this update is LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a whole bunch of “useless” stuff

71

Jetup  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:44 pm

Can we all agree that the psp update was crap? Can we all agree that Flock is to flocken much?

72

evildude683  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:45 pm

Hey @66 Sit on a freaking cactus son!!!

73

Zezzler  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:48 pm

74

KSPRAYDAD  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:50 pm

@41 Redswipe…

There is no multiplayer and there never will be in Ragdoll.

The developer was on this blog a few weeks back and said so.

neorudemovement  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:51 pm

i agree with the price gripes!

i like buying psn titles and have even had to already upgrade my HD because of it but stop trying to jump the $9.99 price to $12-$14.99 then thats going to be where your psn titles stop being as good sellers.

i think something upcoming like “fat princess” can get away with being a 12.99-14.99 title but the fact that worms is $12.99 is why have not downloaded it yet.

also, im not cheap in anyway last month i bought 3 brand new 64.99(with tax) titles and a couple of psn. i just refuse to be ripped off for ps3 console versions of what are kind of free online games for a pc’s.

76

Tr3p1dat10n  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:53 pm

Would it be possible to get the estimated time per download in the download management thing as well? Would be greatly appreciated.

77

sdpibarra  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Devil Rays? You mean Rays..

78

Jikkle  |  April 9th, 2009 at 2:57 pm

It’s just so hard to chose between the huge amount of PS1 games offered……

I just don’t see why the Japanese PSN store is able to get so many great games yet other here we hardly get what could be called table scraps.

$9.99 is my limit and what I feel is a fair price when it comes to most downloadable games unless you give me a really darn compelling reason to go over that.

79

depward  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:02 pm

@55 – I don’t get why comparing file sizes and price-points is very valid.

80

KSPRAYDAD  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:07 pm

@74….meant no ONLINE.

81

freeluv  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:07 pm

im happy if the store updates by 1pm pacific so i can start up my purchases at lunch and theyll be done by the time i get home :-)

82

Hsanrb  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:08 pm

Nothing worth buying off the PSN today. Guess thats good since I’m working for my gold trophy of beating Phantasy Star II unaided by any online guides. Therefore Sega officially wins this weeks PSN store pick of the week (somehow) and I’ll continue collecting trophies for beating the rest of the Phantasy Star games.

83

jncasanova  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:09 pm

there’s a new sound when you push the Download in Background button that, at first, made me think there had been an error and downloaded the Flock demo two times because of that.

what other stuff was added to the PS store with the newest firmware?? is now more space for the pending downloads? the limit is like 15 or 20, isn’t it?

84

mafecto  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:12 pm

blah.

give us more content.

Still no PS1 games is a joke.

I never used to be this cynical.

Howabout some PS2 games for download? I know, what a novel concept!

85

John-Shooter  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:20 pm

o and as far as 2.70 goes can we get a 2.71 update that removes that stupid Internet Search thats right between Start Game and Eject

that really pisses me off every time i go to eject a disc i start a stupid google auto search for the game that i already know about

i kno what your thinkin why get mad over something so stupid but it really is kinda retarded .. atleast stick a game search in the network menu or somethin if you want to keep it in the xmb but its retarded

86

MiiAmigo  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:27 pm

Please tell me the Patapon 2 theme is just as good if not better than the Loco Roco 2 themes. I really dug those cool icons and the sounds to match.

About time Patapon got some downloadable attention. Did Rolito have any input in that?

87

Kinetic808  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:31 pm

I am all about this update. I’ve been looking forward to doing somekung fu for a while now….can’t wait till i get home from work!!!
I have alot of love for psn games flower/eden/flow…i agree with #35 – Noby Noby Boy is one of the few games i downloaded and wanted a refund. Not sure what it says about a game if the best part is controling Boy through the in-game manual and watching the type fly all over…
:D

88

Stoffinator  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:33 pm

$15 for Flock? Wow, thats seems way over priced. I guess Capcom needs the money badly.

89

MidnightBlues  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:47 pm

not liking this update at all….where is the pixeljunk eden encore update? thats what I really wanted….

oh well..

90

BigPoppaB  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:48 pm

woah… 3 weeks in a row and the update is so meh its not even worth turning my ps3 on.

You guys need to release a demo for EVERY psn game. Theyre a real gamble as some can turn out great like Pixel Junk Eden and some can turn out like Pain.

Rag Doll Kung Fu is a game that looks really cool and something id be interested in… but Im not gonna take a $10 gamble on a game that could turn out to be a bust.

So yeah, demos for ALL PSN releases

91

waffman11  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Finally some new demos, but nothing I would download. The Patapon 2 theme interested me at first, but it’s too bright for me, I need a theme that’s dim, with a sort of grim outlook… maybe a Resistance: Retrobution wallpaper. That or just a dark background that looks cool.

92

Seafea  |  April 9th, 2009 at 3:51 pm

Who can we bug… I mean ask about getting a premium theme for a particular university/college? Is that up to Sony approaching them and asking or is it the other way around?

Would love to see a Virginia Tech theme!

93

Lanmanna  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:00 pm

Not getting Rag Doll until I see online patched in.
No PS1 games this week.

Lame!

94

JPMCH  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:03 pm

It doesn’t matter if you complain about the Flock’s price, the people of Sony won’t change it, just DON’T BUY IT, it’s to expensive for a game.

95

Demonhunter84  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:14 pm

Really was hoping for a demo of Kung Fu Rag Doll.

96

KSPRAYDAD  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:19 pm

@94…wait for a sale (though its CAPCOM so I still won’t buy it until they start pricing/supporting their products properly)

97

IIIKAGEIII  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:19 pm

is there a facebook app for ps3 yet.. i heard some things.

we want skype in game.

also what ever happened to uploading photos to home via mobile phone like phil harrison showed years ago. i want to do that.

also allow us to show videos in our home. there is nothing to do in our homes.. noone wants to buy furniture for a boring home with nothing to do. allow us to watch videos off our hdds in the home.
or better yet. allow us to have run ustream, or stickam so i can watch live shows from our clan at epileptic gaming.

98

Watchmann  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:23 pm

I played the Flock demo a few month back. It wasn’t bad, but definitely not worth $15. Capcom strikes again!

Speaking of Capcom … I’m wondering if they opted to release the RE5 Vs mode (@$5) earlier in the week so that they could avoid too much hate directed their way. We would have been nice if they had sent a rep to hype it on the Blog Tuesday ;)

On a more positive bent … I strongly recommend everyone download the Sonic Collection demo. The collection is an excellent deal. I am curious as to which games they opted to include in the demo…

99

Watchmann  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:26 pm

Incidentally, I’m a little nervous that Fat Princess will end up being $15.

100

redknight4  |  April 9th, 2009 at 4:28 pm

We need the truth from square-enix about why the NA PSN is not getting or why it is delayed crystal defenders would be nice to know the truth cuse the japanese version is in eng and jp.

also europe has an english version of dark mist and they’ve had it for a while.

@41 hate to pay the curency conversion charges you incured on your credit card if you not from the uk.
