I am still curious, will we have to pay to play this game?
I didn’t see it answered in the chat.
But even if we do have to pay, I am still looking forward to this game…even if I don’t get it.
This is HUGE for Sony.

Maybe you answered this in one of your eariler converstations about the live chats but….
How about you do a mini Question session a day or two before the live chat..
Maybe send out a blog about who you are going to be interviewing on monday and then have people post there questions and then you take the most asked questions from the blog on tuesday night and then ask the developer on the live chat on wednesday.
It may be a stupid idea but I know we all want to have the best experience for the hard work you guys do.

is there any chance the beta will be worldwide or just the US region?
+ KillerBread on May 7th, 2009 at 9:14 am said:
151: read it again and you will find out it is free out of the box
and i love this idea but i think we should get 20 questions befor they answer them so the good ones dont get lost in the spam

Thanks for all the info on MAG cant wait to get my hands on this game!!!
Also I think the Q&A would have worked out better if questions are sent before they go live and we could have a voting system for the most important questions that we all can vote for.

We want XMB in GAME MUSIC WHEN WE ARE PLAYING I’M SICK IN TIRED OF SCEA Excuses along with a better way to report People hacking and cheating while your online..Kapesh? Weather elements..Customize your character the way you want perhaps etc.
I have noticed Sony has a long way to go over the Xbot360.. Sad..Charge maybe to use your new servers would help to get rid of the hacks & cheaters might help?..

Thank you for the response. But im not saying im hardcore, nor want hardcore questions. But any new questions that aren’t covered specifically in the blog/videos that most of us participate on/with.
Its a grand and rare opportunity to speak to all of these amazing developers. I’m just simply asking for FAQ’s to responded with a faq link or something. Defeats the purpose of the live chat in my opinion.
I really do appreciate the hard work on your side, But its just getting to the point to where every live exclusive chat covers the basics that you spent the time getting done in the videos previously.

I was at the Insomniac live chat the other week, so I know how it goes: you submit an awesome question, unmistakably reasonable, but the moderators won’t put it in because nobody else has an interest in it, so it just dies on arrival. seriously, if you get burned like this in any of these live chats, don’t do it again, it’s just frusturating and a waste of your time. check the chat afterwards to see the idiots (or the lucky ones) get their comments answered and hope that your questions got answered.
+ waffman11 on May 7th, 2009 at 12:16 pm said:
@HawkEyes1: Dude, no Sony bashing, this is the Playstation.Blog, not an XBox360 site. Just address your issue without bashing a developer, console, etc. and it might be listened to.

If we had to pay I would gladly pay for it if SONY’s Servers are fixed that is..

I wasn’t bashing anyone..Jezz.

SCEA still has a long way to go with XMB I was just asking to put this feature in the future for all our games that we paid a lot for..

@ Jeff on 126…
Great point Jeff. Much more reasonable to answer frequently asked questions rather than not so important ones. Can’t wait for another live chat

I asked that question and they said it is free out of the box. Looks for it on the chat around 2:30 time frame

Jeff, you’re a good sport, now I actually feel special, after finding out that you had 5,000+ questions come in you had time to answer mine personally, I do appreciate it.
As a recap you replied “I love you too” :* see yea next time round.

I have a massive problem with MAG… I love games and if its a good game I can play it for ever! Thats why I never touch WoW. I know myself good enough to know I’m gonna be addicted on the spot and its going to be more bad feelings than joy.
Now I’m afraid I might will have to pass MAG simply because of the amount of possibilities and social interaction… Will there be some kind of non-addiction system?

im pretty excited about hearing that there will be a beta for this game, but im more excited to find out about the requirements to get the beta, and as they said, it was too big to download the game, how will the beta come to us? Jeff, do us a favor and give us clues about this topic as soon as you get info.
And Jeff, thank you for taking the time to read questions and answer them, it means a lot for gamers like us!including you!

So im guessing you can not “customize your look ( as in skin tone, hair colour, all that essentials). This game will be amazing, its a bummer that there is not keyboard and mouse compatibility. I really dont see how my thumb could aim a gun…

Ok…My Question is Compared to Socom and its graphics, how good will MAG’s graphics be i mean your obviously putting to much emphasis in the whole 256 players but that just means that you have to lower some other things in order to get to 256 players so im thinking maybe graphics are on the low part for this game and that wouldnt really help out specially the effects like blowing up vehicles or certain objects or buildings.
