Seems like the free RagDoll Kung Fu is US only as I’m in Canada and it’s still showing as costing 9,99$… :(

That sucks…

But hey, always glad to see PSOne Classics being added. Make sure to keep that up!

I’m kinda ticked off that I paid far Rag Doll. It’s good for everyone who didn’t buy it though. I wish you guys would have chose a different game. lol

The only that would make this better would be if my PS3 could actually log on to the PSN network today.

No you have to understand the time frame is horrible. If Rag Doll Kung Fu was dropped in price a year from now, I would have no complaints. But this marketing plan with sprint wasn’t decided yesterday. These things usually take a while to plan. So Sony to make a quick buck to cover there end says lets sell without warning to consumers before are promotion to get what chumps we can. I would be willing to bet they knew of this before they released the game.

Just to echo what others have already said: PS1 games are very nice. Keep including them in future updates, and you’ll have very grateful consumers. =)

I’ve been thinking of getting Rag Doll Kung Fu – and now I definitely will!

I’m very impressed with all the updates this week – I hope that such awesome work on add-ons doesn’t cease since there’s been so much productivity lately! Here’s what I’m planning on getting:

• MotorStorm Pacific Rift Livery Pack – heck yeah.
• HOME – New free apartment. Heck yeah!
• Rock Band 2 – Stricken and Stupify! Heck yeah!
• MAG Gameplay trailer – oh holy goodness yes.

I’m excited. That, and tomorrow, I’m upgrading my PS3 from a 60GB hard drive to a super sweet 250GB Hard Drive (once my 16GB USB flash drive comes in so I can backup all the game data and game save data via the backup utility.)

I’ll be re-downloading a TON of stuff tomorrow night, (and all throughout the day) for sure!

Thanks for the free Rag Doll Kung Fu game Grace! I also like the MAG trailer too.

Can we get some video trailers for the following games:
1) Dark Void
2) Borderlands
3) Aliens: Colonial Marines

For the Video Store on PSN, can we get some Star Trek films and TV shows please?

Wow, I buy a crappy ass game that isn’t nearly as interesting or fulfilling as I expected it to be, and now it’s being given away for free.

…ugh. Maybe had I enjoyed the game I wouldn’t have been so upset. But damn. Like a slap in the face.

I’m glad theres a demo for Zen Pinball, I’ll probably buy it anyway tho. I think all games should have a demo but meh.

Seems like a decent update. I’m not big on either PS1 game so probably won’t purchase them but I like that they are showing up, and two updates in a row.

Keep up the good work. Also a free game rocks!

+ Anti-Steven on May 14th, 2009 at 2:25 pm said:

Free Rag Doll Kung Fu is cool, but when stuff like this happens it makes me feel cheated for actually buying it. You really should consider giving the people who did buy something as consolation. It doesn’t have to be something major, just something. I might have to seriously consider not buying PSN games day one and wait for a few months until I’m sure that it won’t just be given away. Pay more attention to the people who support you the most (a general business rule is that 20% of your customers give you 80% of your business, remember that).

127

+ User_cl on May 14th, 2009 at 2:25 pm said:

I signed in two chime in with my two cents… i think its cool that they are offering a totally free full game, but having just spent ten dollars on this game less than a month ago i feel thoroughly ripped off. Its inevitable that a game will go down in price EVENTUALLY but to make it completely free after only a month is just rediculous in my opinion. I bought the PAIN addon today and i actually had to stop and pause and decide if i wanted it, who knows it may be free in a few months.

128

+ RedSkull73 on May 14th, 2009 at 2:26 pm said:

Since Sprint does not do business in Canada, I doubt it will be free in Canada.

Meaning if you cannot see the US video store in the PSN Store you will not see the game for free.

129

+ KidCommando on May 14th, 2009 at 2:27 pm said:

to all the crybabies who bought Rag Doll Kung Fu and somehow feel ripped off:

please pull your panties up and use your noodles. Early adopters will usually pay more money.

Iphone: first released $500, next month $400
Power Tool: bought for $70, next week it comes with $30 rebate
Grand Slam Breakfast: yesterday $5.99, tomorrow FREE for everyone in the US.

That is how SALES and PROMOTIONS work. So you don’t ever feel gypped again, just wait a minimum of one year before purchasing ANYTHING. That way you will never pay the full price and you won’t ruin your favorite bib by blowing bubble snots all over it.

I had to go ahead and double post to add that im tired of Sony and other companies trying to nickel and dime us consumers so much lately with things like “add-ons”…. i put that in parenthesis because these days they make you pay for content thats ALREADY on the disc! These companies sit there wondering why piracy is so rampant these days…. is it because people are ruthless and greedy and want everything for nothing? No, its because we are tired of paying out the rear for unpolished games and/or sub-par DLC that should have OBVIOUSLY been free…. Skate 2 Camera Pack, anyone?

How can you people that already bought Rag doll kung fu really be that mad? It’s only 10 bucks and you got the game before anybody else.
