I think the lesson we have all learned from this update is that no matter what Sony does, people will complain. I have yet to see an update thread without a small number of people [DELETED] and whining about something.

@getting – Stop trying to act like $10 means nothing, if you’re rich, then fine, most of us aren’t, so $10 is $10 bucks. Aside from it being free, you’re missing the point that IT JUST CAME OUT LIKE A MONTH AGO. This isn’t hardware, it’s a GAME.
That combined with the fact that it’s free is what is upsetting.
Yes it’s upsetting when you buy something like a PS3 and months later it’s cheaper. But this isn’t the same scenario.
Most people realize that. I, like most of the Rag Doll Kung Fu buyers didn’t have a clue that it would be given away for FREE. That’s unheard of in business!

Giving away something FOR free that cost MONEY a few weeks ago is unheard OF. When has MCDonalds given away something for free after it released a new product? Never, they always give it away at first so people can try it and get the word out.

The difference is that when McDonald’s offers a hamburger for free, it is to get you to try it, like it, and hopefully come back to buy it again.
With games, you can’t do that. Once they get it, they’re not coming back to buy it again.

I got money, the bills are paid, and I’m living good but I don’t like to waste money at all(I’m just old school like that so don’t hate). I will continue to buy new PS3 games from eBay for $30 or below but as far as PSN games NO WAY.

Once again, it’s cause the game was only $10 to begin with. You can’t compare this to other games that cost more and you can’t look at it as a percentage drop.
A $10 price cut for this game and giving it away for free is the exact same thing.
