PlayStation Around the Web: What We Read

Posted by Jeff Rubenstein // Social Media Manager

Hope you’re enjoying this long weekend!

However, it seems as if you’re stuck inside for a bit, reading on your computer. Since you have a second, we’d like to talk to you about our plight. We’re quite proud that our Twitter account eclipsed the 30-thousand-follower barrier this week. We thank you if you count yourself as one of that number.

But it’s not enough. No, we don’t expect to catch Shaq, Ashton Kutcher, or even Qore’s Veronica Belmont anytime soon. We’re setting our sights lower. We’re setting our sights on: Jamie Kennedy.

No, we don’t have any personal grudge against Mr. Kennedy. Yes, Malibu’s Most Wanted was a waste of 2 hours of life. Yes, he maligned gamers at E3 2007. But really, it’s just that he has a few hundred more Twitter followers than we do.

Please help us in this Twitter Takedown – Follow us today!

Been playing inFAMOUS(Full version) for 3 days now. This is probably one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Neat but what about:

-Cross game Voice chat.
-PlayStation 2 BC.
-Trophies for epics like for Metal Gear Solid 4, and Valkyria Chronicles.
-PSN titles like Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Cross.

You know Sony? The things that everyone wants?

Hey Jeff,I preordered InFamous via phone. Does that mean I get my vouchers when I pick up the game?

Wish I could help with the Twit thing, but I’d rather gouge my eyes out than register with Twitter. Sorry.

LOVED the Heavy Rain previews this week. This game was on my radar, but after seeing it in action and hearing a bit about it, I was blown away. Can’t wait for this one! Wow.

IGN’s Top 10 PSN games has a huge error- it’s missing flOw! :( Great, otherwise, though…

Awesome news on Demon Souls. Wasn’t sure if I’d get it or not, then I saw a screenshot with a Ninja character… sold!

Now, off to wait patiently for Thursday’s update and some classic Resident Evil for my PSP… :)

What the hell is wrong with PSN tonight. Me and my friends have been kicked off several times tonight, and the forums seem to be down!!!!

Great job with the blog guys, keep it up.

Hopefully the European Playstation Blog will launch soon, so us Brits/Europeans can start pestering them for that damn movie store thats been in the American PS Store since last E3!

@57 When I bought the game, the voucher was inside of the case in front of the manual.

I burst into open laughter when reading the CGN article about the ten “must-have” PS3 exclusives.

They ranked SOCOM:Confrontation as number 2!

Sweet Moses….
