cnn93 | May 28th, 2009 at 9:04 pm
what caused this awful delay?
104
Kren420 | May 28th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
decent update, was excepting a sweet inFamous theme though, and why the delay today?
105
Anirask | May 28th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
Wow. EA and Harmonix sure put out a complete [DELETED] demo..
Seriously guys. Atl east let us finish a damn song so we know how the game plays. The ending and scoring are just as important as the gameplay.
A “You Rock!” encouragement at the end of a demo song could go a long way towards motiving someone towards a purchase.

@102
Jeff was testing out the new motion controls for the PS3 in the office of the guy who handles the uploads. Well lets just say he got a little excited and knocked the poor guy out by swinging his arm at a virtual hockey puck. Crazy stuff…. In fact I think he was playing as the goaly for the solar bears in hockey history mode. Anyway 6 hours later he finally came to and Jeff made sure he put the update before we stormed the front gates of the sony compound.

darth_sappy23 | May 28th, 2009 at 9:09 pm
ok i dont comment on these much but WOW what a crappy update and why did it take so long to get such a crap update???
and 2nd you guys REALLY should set a set time for the updates.
and what gets me the most (and why i never comment) why the hell do i need to login to this when im already logged into the 1st part of this website??? thats retarded!
heck while im at it, those guitar hero and rock band games must be freakn awesome, and the makers of the game MUST be making a killing off all the DLC they release EVERY week. i know i wouldnt pay for new songs every damnd week especially when i can just play em on my guitar and sound a hell of a lot better. but now im just blow’n off steam. peace.

KuchN | May 28th, 2009 at 9:10 pm
Come on? The cut RE.DC version?? WTF guys? Seriously why did you do that? Is it so hard Capcom, so hard to release the uncut DC? Or are you just fu**ing don’t care?

[This post ONLY refers to this week's PS Store for PSP Update.]
While this week’s PSP update was a bit small, at least it features another PSone game download for a 4th week in a row (which is a new record) and a pair of demos. I downloaded that Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! demo just now and I’ll buy Resident Evil: Director’s Cut pretty soon. Thanks for the update.

Zudeo | May 28th, 2009 at 9:48 pm
lol Wow. I had the entire day off only to know that I can see this Thursday’s update on Friday :P ah well, it’s all good. You guys must be busy with E3 next week. Ah well, have fun :-)

SoYoung | May 28th, 2009 at 9:52 pm
What a bad update again. The EU store will be better than the US now, they have two new PSN games and what do we do? NOTHING. They are no excuses to release something in EU and not here and vice versa.
I hop that you guys at sony dont do that to just release this at E3 and then saying that you deliverd a lot of content because if its like this I will laught for sure.
Plus, you need to do the update on a regular time basis. I think personnaly that your busness method over time is not very professionnal. Just my opinion but as a costumer I dont understand whats going on here when games supposed to come out and dont for unknown reasons.

Psone RPGs please!!!!!!!!
120
SOOPERGOOMAN187 | May 28th, 2009 at 10:13 pm
Snorezzz, also wasn’t Crash Commando out as a Demo before today? I’m fairly certain it was. Rehashed demo’s. Today’s update is a let down. Sorry but it is.
121
Thrasher20 | May 28th, 2009 at 10:20 pm
Resident Evil may have created the term “Survival Horror,” but “Alone In The Dark” and “Sweet Home” pretty much created the sub genre.
122
trapper12 | May 28th, 2009 at 10:29 pm
This is a pretty nice update Grace, but why was the store updated so late?
123
Pinkmaggit | May 28th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
You guys needa quit your whining… Thanks for the update.
124
Jeigh | May 28th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
Okay, you KNOW you’ve got a problem when the PlayStation Store updating six hours late ruins your day. Worse things have and will continue to happen along with better things which should be happening for you outside of the Store update. Maybe play one of those games that you found ever-so-important in one of the past updates you freaked out over…? I’m just saying don’t treat such a minor issue as if it were the end of the world.
(One of the problems with the internet and its correspondent generation(s), of which I am sadly part, is that instant gratification has become all-important in so many respects.)

I was weirded out by NOT seeing an apology…the least you could do :/

Thank you for the update :)
127
mclaren777 | May 28th, 2009 at 10:51 pm
Are we ever going to get the Red Faction: Guerrilla MP demo here in the States?
128
DragonNutz | May 28th, 2009 at 10:56 pm
Aren’t we used to no apology by now people?
I thought the update was alright and I’m sure something had to have happened for the store to update 6 hours late. Anyway, I’m getting the free stuff. I don’t have any money.
I really hope that next week’s update is the best update ever.
I had a kidney transplant on June 4th in 1987, so maybe that can add to my 22 year anniversary celebration.
129
divi_18 | May 28th, 2009 at 11:06 pm
What happened to the Fight Night Round 4 Demo.
I thought it was suppose to be out this week for people that didn’t pre-order the game?
130
BADABOOM420 | May 28th, 2009 at 11:08 pm
wtf sony? post the update late w/ no kz2 patch that was said and say nothing about it?
better be preppin something sweet for e3 or something…
if u want to say your sorry, you can give out a free psn game.. that should do =)
131
AceNet2 | May 28th, 2009 at 11:38 pm
Thanks Sony & Grace! Don’t mind all the kids bit*hing! I’m just happy to get new PSN content each week. Hey everybody mad about the tardiness of todays update: WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! Boo Hoo! Do you seriously have *nothing* better to do than sit here hitting F5 all night? It was only a few hours late sheesh. Go play a game, or better yet do something productive! I’m getting tired of all the whining on here, I think I’m done reading comments. Remember people, Sony doesn’t HAVE to provide this service to us! =)
132
Hsanrb | May 28th, 2009 at 11:38 pm
Best update because Badman is amazing (sadly short.)
Badman was well worth waiting till 11PM to download (except my PSP battery died idling) Could easily have been the ONLY thing this week and it would still be that high on my list of updates. Don’t want or own the other games on this list and Rock music isn’t my thing so RB demo was instant skip…
Class of Heroes in 2 weeks given something doesn’t go wrong again, Pangya end of June, and Badman in July makes me a happy PSP owner. UMD or Digital Distribution only makes no difference, I finally have some new games to play since DJMax Fever.
133
PaulMichael | May 28th, 2009 at 11:41 pm
I feel so ashamed to be a Sony PS3 owner. How in gods name does it take you that long to post the store update and wait no Trash Panic, wow you guys suck. Oh and why for godsakes why is Resident Evil Directors Cut $9.99 when all the other PSone classics are only $5.99 except for Castlevania, are you guys that in need of money or are you just trying to milk your PS3 owners of more wasted money. Way to go $ony.

Oh, the usual add-ons.

136
ryanc08 | May 29th, 2009 at 12:57 am
Okay update…i suppose if you have some really good updates like the ones for the last few weeks, theres bound to be one that…unspectacular. Well i’ll be honest, ive been way to busy playing InFamous to care about the update. Hopefully next weeks update will be better, considering its Qore’s one year anniverssary, and the Fight Night Round 4 demo. Ohh and the Uncharted beta i have. Its gonna be a busy week…
137
sNsKid | May 29th, 2009 at 1:07 am
@darth_sappy23
I hope you’re ready for GH5 at E3. :]p
They really need to stop making so many GH’s and RB’s.
@luigidkm3
I have no problem with PSOne classics as I own 7 of them. I just prefer that they are games I want, have not ever owned and cost $5.99 USD.
138
BigPoppaB | May 29th, 2009 at 1:39 am
HAHAHA
Capcom you make me laugh
every PSOne classic is $5.99… yet RE1 gets a 9.99 price tag.
You guys are too funny with your nickle and diming.
139
JDAM05 | May 29th, 2009 at 1:52 am
ok so when do WE get OUTRUN and the Ferrari challenge DLC like the UK store????? Don’t act like the JP and UK stores get cooler stuff than the US!…sometimes. The KZ2 stuff is cool and ALL THOSE PS ONE CLASSICS!
140
JDAM05 | May 29th, 2009 at 1:56 am

I wanted Klonoa on PSN, and the new Shamar and Apotos Sonic Unleashed DLC. I wanted Klonoa more though. None of them were released though…
143
Grognard66 | May 29th, 2009 at 4:02 am
Sony needs to take a page from MS’ book and release content every weekday for content other than PSN games. They could still specify Thursday for PSN game releases, but they should be released at precisely the same time every week. The way things are being handled right now is very unprofessional and gives the impression that Sony is still struggling to understand online and lacks internal discipline.
144
jqtaxpayer | May 29th, 2009 at 4:03 am
If you’re only going to update one day a week, when you DO get to that one day you should update in a timely fashion and actually put something up there worth waiting 7 days for.
That’s the way I’d want to do things anyway… but I’m just one of those guys that believes in doing the best job I can in what I do.
145

I would really like to see more of a presence by Sony staff on the Playstation Store Update posts.
