E3 is going down in LA at its old stomping grounds at LA Convention Center. With all the juicy news and updates coming out of the show, as we did last year, we plan to refresh the PlayStation Store daily starting today thru 6/4 to bring you the latest content from the show! This E3 2009 category will be available from all Storefronts (PS3, Media Manager PC & PSP) for our US & Canadian consumers. When is the motion control coming out and i thought the conference was awesome and can’t what till MAG, and God of War 3.:)
I like the new bright look of the store, but I don’t like the new, annoying sound effects that happen every time you move your cursor! Is there any way you can turn that off?
Unfortunately, I missed the new content on the store today. I’ll probably wait until Thursday/early Friday when everything is up.
FFVII is nice, but never really cared for it.
Let me know when you get FFVIII online instead.

Daily E3 Update!? Can;t wait to see what you roll out tomorrow. Any way we could get a video of the press conference to download? I’ve been sending all my friends into Home, but it’d be easier to just snatch it as a video off of the “New Releases” page. I’d love to watch it again a few times, myself. I can barely remember all of the amazing stuff you guys threw at us today. Bravo, Sony. You definitely stole the show today! :)

I was shocked to learn that the ESRB rated FFVII for the PS3 & PSP last week. Now, I’m even more shocked to see the game on the U.S. PS Store so quickly. Needless to say, I’m quite impressed by how SCEA’s handling of PSone Classics over the past month and I definitely look forward to more PSone hits appearing as PSN downloads in the future. Oh, and I’m also interested in trying out the Dissidia theme & wallpapers. Thanks for the earlier than usual update.

FF7 for 10 bucks is an absolutely amazing deal. I was expecting 15, like on Japan, nice cherry on top of the ice cream!

With the new ‘ice’ look to the PSN it is a real bad choice to use white text on the white background of the E09 category.

Thanks for finally bringing FFVII to the store. Been waiting since the announcement that PSone calssics would be on the store, goign to buy the instant I get home and then put it on the PSP. Goot times to be had all over again.
Oh, and that Uncharted 2 trailer is all kinds of amazing. Naughty Dog .

the sound effects are REALLY annoying.. i dont get why the store needed an update.. i loved the old one :( especially the sounds it made
im huge FF fan, and i own already black label FF7, but i bought PSN version, so i can keep discs safe, great job Sony keep them coming.
And for those who think 10$ is steal, trust me this game is worth every penny you have!

OMG, that conference was GREAT! Sony is doing one hell of a job! Especially FF7! Keep up the good work!
Digg the sounds added and the neon highlight, but the white XO section is to hard to focus and read some of the stuff. E3 showing was cool but showing MAG after Uncharted was about as dumb as it gets.

Man, I HATE what you guys have done with the store. The new look isn’t that terrible, though it’s worse than the previous one, but the sound effects are HIDEOUS!
Seriously, I’m going to visit the store a lot less now because every time I want to claw my ears out of my head every time I move the selection. What the $^@* were you guys thinking?!?!
Also, you can’t even read the text when using list view (the superior way to browse since you can actually tell what the items are) on that stupid E3 page because the white background obscures the white text sitting on top of it. Did you guys not even think to test it? Even look at it once? Just throw a little tint on the text boxes and you’d be fine.
It’s not &*@#ing rocket science here, people!
Oh yeah! I forgot all about the PSone Diablo… maybe since I only played that once and also had the Diablo War Chest (or whatever that had 1,2, & the expansion)
honestly, you guys should do this all the time…
update through the week as content becomes avail will help derail the “two-day exclusive” syndrome with some of the high profile demos and keep me coming back everyday.
let’s think about it, if your customers come by everyday vs. once a week how much more DLC are you bound to sell?

i have got to say that you it got a little tedious in the middle, but at the end…wow. i think you guys did just that much better than microsoft this year! 2010 seems like the year for sony… FFXIII AND FFXIV! GEEEEEZ i’m going to be broke!
but seriously, project natal was cool and all, but the precision and sharpness of the PROTOTYPE Motion Control was just amazing! can’t wait to see what the final product can do!

great update for today. It’s awesome to know that you guys will update the store daily.
To people who moaned that the update is late, I can give you some reasons, video encoding, video uploads, and I think grace waits until the e3 for that day is over to upload all videos instead of one by one as they are available. Am I right Grace?
Anyway, Grace is it possible to tone down the contrast on the white e3 background (the letters on the background is way too bright, I have to adjust the display of the items by pressing square).

Just a note though. I like the upgrade to the PSN Store and that background image is very snazzy and all, but it makes it practically impossible to read the text…
