You might also want to check out the merchandise section, which will be updated throughout road to launch… And for those who feel worthy to fight alongside Kratos, you can enlist in the Spartan Army, where you will have opportunities in the future to get access to exclusive updates and other cool content.

I have great respect for the God of War. So much, in fact, that I refuse to use this site or read any stories on it. I won’t have stray spoilers being shot around and ruining the experience for me. (Which many developers have gotten very sloppy about as of late.)

I like the site, and it’s good that there are pre-order links. But, there has been a lot of talk about a possible special/collectors’-type edition. Wouldn’t it be prudent to finalize those details first and then offer pre-orders??

2 questions.
1 when are yous going to put some GOW3 wallpapers or themes up onto the PSN store?
its mind boggling how the most popular psp game has 1 theme the most popular ps3 game has NO themes, but other games like assasins creed 2 already has 4 or MF2 and such.
2 are we going to see more games that let you take pics in game? i would love to take a screenshot in game of me ripping helios head off and set it as my wallpaper.
sony needs to start forceing these fetures onto the devs because untill they do no one will put them in there games.
theres no point in having it available if no ones going to use it now is there?

I dont know if you can answer this but for the psp go will it have the same input plug as the psp 2000 series becaue i bought the componet av cable to play on my tv and will te psp go support playing on tv and will i have to buy a different cable.

I’d like to make a suggestion. While God of War is a major franchise and a LOT of people will buy the game when it comes out, I think nothing beats good old fashion word of mouth coz I have friends who had never even heard of the series but were fans are franchises like DMC, Prince of Persia, etc who have finally discovered GOW after I told them about it, and now they LOVE it!
I reckon you should give your fans all the tools and incentives needed to spread the word about Kratos’s arrival, like art work they can use to design fan sites, forum signatures, newsletters, t-shirts, whatever. Give fans incentives such as early access to then demo whenever that comes out, or goodies, exclusive downloads, anything. I’m sure there are enough dedicated fans out there to make this initiative successful.
HOWEVER, PLEASE, whatever you do – don’t limit this to the borders of the United States. I’m from the UK and Europe is probably the second largest market for video game industry right now – so don’t ignore us.
