It's a little late, but I would like to see the scope of the new motion tracking controller be added to general PS3 usage. I want to control the XMB with gestures. I want to launch software like Tom Cruise in Minority Report.

Sony, I love my PS3 and want to see you totally knock it out of the park with this new input mechanism. Let's see some real next gen style creativity!

ive been reading around the web on e3 and it seems alot of people seem to favour the project natal to the ps3 motion controller simply because you can use your whole body.
Well ive come to a comprimise: have eyetoy-like features aswell!
basically say if there are loads of flying ninjas or something comin towards you you can hit them with the sword in your hand, or punch them with your empty one like in the old eyetoy games.
I'm sure sony will come up with a better idea but im just throwing stuff out there.

I thought at E3 Scea would announce a new firmware update including a Music Video Service and Probably the most asked for feature for the past two years! that is of course IN-GAME CHAT but No that as far as i know that hasnt happened. The way i see it, we players and Sony fans are being ignored. Please add the feature of In-Game Chat.

Just heard that FFXIV isn't likely to be exclusive to the PS3 for consoles. Would love to hear how this miscommunication got through.

Sony's Motion Controller was the most impressive motion control I saw in all 3 conferences. Microsoft's Natal seems cool, but it is limited by not providing the extra level of detection provided by Sony's "wand"?.

Nintendo's MotionPlus seems to come close to what Sony is doing, but it didn't look like it was as precise.

Maybe it was just the impressive tech demo?

I'm really looking forward to what Sony and Game Developers do with their motion controller.

Of course, Sony had the best line up of games for this year and announcements for next. I'll be too busy on my PS3 to think of picking up the Xbox 360 controller or paying for the Natal.

Sony certainly wins best press conference of E32009 in my books.

*WooT* > FF XIV EXCLUSIVE!!

Lots of good this year from all three companies, however the one thing Sony missed the boat on was the real theme of E3; community involvement. Both Microsoft and Nintendo announced Facebook integration in some form, but I notice it very lacking from the Sony camp.

Granted you can probably access it from the web browser, that's beside the point. It needs to be a mainstay, not a periphery. Put it on the XMB. Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM, Hulu, Netflix, and a host more services. Sony doesn't always need to keep it in house. Partnerships benefit everyone in some way, and social networking is very much the face of gaming this gen. It's the reason why XBL is such a powerhouse in that regard.

Awesome PSN update this week. I'm loving that the store hasn't gone a week without a PSOne title in quite a while, so keep that up for sure. (I want Einhander...)

LOL at ppl complaining about "Games we knew about"....

Sony has MANY new DIFFERENT games, that almost NOBODY has played because THEY HAVEN'T BEEN RELEASED YET...even if you know they are making them...

"Games we knew about"???....Those are on Xbox360...Halo and Gears of war...they will continuously release those, because they don't have anything else to release....

Great Sony, last year was hard, but this one...well, you win...

I still have my 2005 psp...(no RROD on that either) and waited to see a good update to the hardware...this is it..this is the year I buy my new psp...and with GT, thanks!!

I forgot, I have a question. Is the FF14 subscription based? Meaning, do you have to pay a monthly fee to play online? Thanks.

A little sad that there's no release date for GT5, but with GT for the psp to tide me over before GT5 comes out, I'll survive ;)
Great show by Sony, specially with the motion control, really works for the hardcore gamers based on the live demo.
Kudos to Playstaion Blog for bringing us this live blog!
