Hey all… hope you’re having fun in the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Multiplayer Beta. We’ve gotten really positive feedback and a lot of awesome suggestions that are going to make the final game even better… and the devs are having a blast playing with all of you.
We’re still really excited by the great reception Uncharted 2 had at E3 a couple of weeks ago. We’re thrilled that our hard work has been acknowledged through several nominations and awards from many of the media outlets who were at E3. We also just received word that we were awarded Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2009 “Best of Show”, which marks the first-ever console-exclusive and first-ever first-party game to win! All these awards plastered all over the box! On all the adverts, all over town, billboards, buses, tubes. EVERYWHERE! If I don’t see this game at least twice a day in Autumn Sony have failed you.

The multiplayer is excellent and the single player is going to be fantastic. Keep it up. Insomniac take note with regards Resistance 3- HD Playstation 2 Graphics, questionable sound effects and cardboard weapons/ enemies does not make a good game. You have the basics, but the polish isn’t there. On saying that I can’t wait for Ratchet. Uncharted 2 is going to be fantabulous!!!

Before the PS3, I had never really paid attention to Naughty Dog (nor Insomniac for that matter) and focused on games by Japanese developers like Square, Konami, Capcom. This generation, Western developers like Naughty Dog are really raising the bar and have in my opinion risen and sometimes even surpassed the offerings of the old guard. Kudos, and keep up the good work.

Congratulations to all the Naughty Dogs working on this title and SCEA/SCE.
However, we might expect a very good sequel. Because Uncharted 2 didn’t allow God of War III to win any of the positions which they were competing for!
Besides that, it has some crazy graphics and story mode that really got my attention to it.

Considering all jaws dropped at the E3 presentation, it’s no wonder to see Uncharted 2 take home the E3 gold from all press.
I would like to see this release not be too close to Modern Warfare 2 or Assassin’s Creed 2.
I want to see this wonderful title get as much attention as the AAA titles I just mentioned.

My only fear is that the multiplayer won’t be up to par with the single player. I have the beta and I think it needs more customizable features, but that may come with the retail version hopefully. Out of all the developers, I’d like to see a live chat with Naughty Dog over any other developer.

They were great last-gen too, look at Jak and Ratchet, or earlier for Crash and Spyro(original trilogies).

Naughty Dog deserves it. It truly blew me away when i saw Uncharted 2 at the conference and then when i played the multiplayer beta it was so fun.

I’m really enjoying the Beta and have been posting my feedback. Please make chloe, elena, and Sully get wet when in water. It seems strange that only Drake can. I can’t believe it’s only 5 more days. :(

ps3 no doubt has the better list of games this and next year. however the price needs to drop so ps3 will have a stronger user base which will mean more non exclusive game purchases to the ps3 which is more $$$ to make up for the price drop. CMON SONY. i already have 1 but i hate how xbox360 game sales keep dominating.

Hey, I had a question I would love to get answered if it’s at all possible. I know you aren’t asking us to post questions for Naughty Dog, but it’s been bugging me since it was announced. Ahem, anyway, I wanna know if we’ll be seeing developer commentary or “The Making of” videos in Uncharted 2….I really enjoyed watching them in the first one =X

I do have a random question that very few gamers probably ask for. Will Uncharted 2 still give me various language options? As a Spanish speaker, I really enjoyed playing through the game with Spanish voice-over (I was curious). To my surprise, the transition to that language at least (as I can’t speak for the other languages that I don’t speak) was really, really good.

Can’t wait!!! So many game and devices. I might replace my psp for the pspgo so i can get wifi easily and can store stuff.
