@150

Ghostbusters hasn’t been out for 2 months. It’s been out for 3 weeks. And bringing out a demo a few weeks after release is actually smart business. Release the game first, get all the first few weeks sales from people excited for the game. Don’t give them a chance to not like the game. Then in a few weeks, release a demo and hope even more people like the game and you get a second wave of sales from people who liked the demo.

Releasing a demo early isn’t BAD business by any means. But if you are 100% confident in the sales of your game that’s great. But if you’re iffy about sales, releasing a demo a few weeks – a month later is the smarter move.

Great updates for Cross Edge (loving that game), but I’m very upset about the announcement about the upcoming Trophy Patch for Disgaea 3. It makes your saves useless. Hundreds of hours of gameplay, and now I have to lose all of that just because some whiners demanded trophies? That update had better come with an option to NOT accept it! I don’t want to have to turn off my PSN connection (and therefore my ability to chat with friends) in order to play the game without losing all my progress! Who came up with that idea?

Since we’re getting all these tour packs for rock band, how about a Summer Slaughter tour pack? pleeaaase? :)

So I guess the Fallout 3 DLC isn’t coming then? And Trine isn’t coming out the same week here it comes out everywhere else?

Sony, you really need to get your act together with the store because the way it’s been handled here is kind of a joke, really.

+ starwind236 on July 10th, 2009 at 10:41 am said:

why is everyone so obsessed with PS1 games for PS3? If you have the disc then your golden. Your PS3 will play all PS1 games. Some models only have limited compatability with PS2 games. Please give me some DLC that matters…like Fallout 3. If I want to play FFVII, I’ll go pick up the discs for 5 dollars a a flea market.
