  • sweet, wild arms 2, i’ve been waiting for this actually.

  • i wonder if will be a Gran Turismo demo coming out for this?????!!!!

  • when`s crash team racing come to the playstation store?

  • bummer I didn;t know about the bundle pack for KZ2 I would’ve waited to get the opther two packs becasue I havn’t started grinding on that game yet.

  • good update though Got shatter fury and cordite :)

  • Easily the giggest spending week for me since PSN cards first came out in my area. I got the Killzone 2 map pack (it’s a shame GG said they are taking a break now, I wanted just 2 more Killzone 1 maps to make my Killzone 2 dreams come true, Canyon Crossing and Park Terminal, oh well, they deserve the break anyway, they’ve done such an incredible job on the game and support). Also grabbing The WipeOut HD expansion and Shatter (even though I like this, Magic Ball is WAY better and needs more expansions). Also buying quite a few Home items this week too. Great job Sony. I love you man!!! Keep up the great work.

And as a Blog suggestion. I’d like to see the blog set-up so you can click on a commentors name and have a tab open with a screen showing the 3 pages of their PSN gamer card and just an itmized list of their trophies (just the game name and trophy % of the games they have) in one pic. It would be a nice cross section of the community to see what kind of “gamers” leave what kind of comments.

  • Wow not that great of an update in my opinion really W@W is a littel bit to late. Can you already give us the Fallout3 dlc geez.

  • You guys have been doing a great Job with the updates, in spte of all the complaints from the whiners.

  • Where’s the Fat Princess interview?

  • Nice update. Never got around trying CoD: WaW and this demo seems like a good start. Strangely, I’ve want a WWII FPS fix.

Might pick up that Wipeout HD add-on as well.

  • Ridiculously sick update. I just dropped $30 on Wipeout HD Fury, Scatter, and Killzone 2 Bundle.

  • trine?

  • Good update on all fronts–games, demos and dlc.

  • So much good stuff this week. Shatter, K2 levels, Wipeout HD Fury expansion, CoD:WaW demo are all downloading to my PS3 right now.

    Excellent update; keep it up.

  • shatter for only $8? SOLD

  • Is anyone else having a problem installing COD:WAW demo? Its stuck at 60%.

  • They said that Trine will be out by the end of July. It will definitely be out next Thursday… hopefully. They better not push it back.

I got Shatter today. Pretty cool game.

  • I just got back from playing the Fury pack. Best DLC ever! The new ships handle like a dream and the tracks look amazing graphicly. The menus are much improved. The Fury pack alone makes this PS Store update awesome BUT where the heck are the WipEout Pulse DLC packs? I have waited forever guys. Get that stuff on ASAP.

  • [This post ONLY refers to this week’s PS Store for PSP Update.]

As for this week’s PS Store for PSP Update, I’d say that I’m most interested in that demo for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. though Wild Arms 2 would be a close second. Now I can finally see if I’ll like this Final Fantasy fighting game/RPG. Thanks for the update.

  • Good god, can’t we just get Fat Princess and Trine already? What is the hang up?

  • FF Dissidia blew my mind. Freakin awesome …I’ve been playing this (There’s a lot there for a demo) ever since the store updated. This will be the best psp game I’ve played I’m sure of it, once it’s released what ….next month? If you’re an old school FF player like myself, you’ll love what they’ve done with this. I get to have Sephiroth Vs Golbez in the Magitek Facility with the BGM playing the Zeromus end boss theme? o.o yes please

  • YAY dissidia now if only square launched a demo for birth by sleep

  • Shatter looks awesome. But i was hoping for Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders. Not more Spec Ops and subpar Wildarms 2.

Don’t we already know which past games are considered good and which are bad?

I mean there are a lot of GREAT ps1 games like:
Marvel vs Capcom, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Ace Combat, Parasite Eve, Front Mission 3, Fear Effect, Valkyrie Profile, Dino Crisis and Rival Schools.

It would be kool if we all could vote on the next PS1 classic game to be released.

  • That COD WAW Demo is Nice, to think I hadn’t given that franchise a thought before. The co op is alot of fun, in my First Ever game tonight we almost got to the very end on Veteran. Not too shabby for a Noob. Looks like it might become a purchase very soon. Socom now has some real competition…. Where’s the PATCH!

  • Wipeout HD Fury is very nice.

  • wow…. best update….thank you, Sony!!! But you guys are making me broke!!! I bought wipeout Fury, Wild Arms 2, Shatter, killzone 2 dlc pk3, tr-psp, and downloaded final fantasy dissidia demo… that was $30 right there… I’m not complaining at all though , I am happy, good content is good content..so again Thanks!

Now just bring out more ps1 rpgs like wild arms 2…how about Legend of Dragoon? It’s your 1st party game so there is no excuse on 3rd party. Also pressure SE for more releases, they did in Japan… after the mad sale of ff7 you would think we would have 20 se ps1 games up by now! Oh and good price for the tr psp games. :)

  • @119–
Best psp game? You didn’t play FF: tactics, FF VII, FFVII: Crisis Core? Jeanne D’ Arc, star ocean 1 and 2, God of war , crimson gem saga, phantasy star portable, Monster hunter unite, resistance retribution, spyphon filter(s), patapon 2, holy invasion badman? and the list goes on…….There are tons of great psp games and ff games. I haven’t tried this demo yet(just downloaded it) but it’s not classic ff so i will wait and see, it can’t be as good as crisis core… What I can’t wait for on psp is Disgaea 2, Persona 1, Parasite Eve and FF13:Agito!

  • Nice love the Wild Arms series! WIld West Sci-fi RPG ftw.

When will we see more PS One Classics from Psygnosis aka SCE Studio Liverpool.

I want to see G-Police games and Colony Wars games.

  • @116—

Yeah I have been waiting for wipeout pulse dlc forever too! Us Americans got the shaft with that game (well not with the game it is phenominal psp game)…Europe has a bunch of dlc. just becuause Psygnosis (liverpool studio) is in UK doesn’t mean they have to favor them…why not release universal dlc for the game? It happened with wipeout pure too, EU got 90mb worth of tracks and extras while we got 40mb….not cool….at least with pure we got it though..we haven’t heard anything about pulse. At least they aren’t being like that with the hd version that would suck!

  • Where is the Savage Moon DLC? This was supposed to be out a month ago.

  • Why can’t you be in a warzone in kllzone 2, with ALL maps? Why the mapcap? Will an update come later that may fix/correct this? I hate having to keep switching games..

  • @105—

lolol..hahaha.. you are complaining to Sony about the fallout dlc…I guess you weren’t on the blog the day that 100000 whiners gave it Bethesda when they announced a delay til end of Sept. and broken steel first. So don’t go blaming Sony..and there are tons of great games to play. Don’t complain, do what I am doing, I stopped playing fallout3 after level 6 and then the trophy patch came out, I got into other games and then they announced the dlc…I will not pick the game back up till i get broken steel. So no loss there.

This weeks update has tons of stuff to keep you busy, and then there are retail releases…there are tons of great games! my library of 100 ps3/psn games is proof..

  • Great Update guys thank you.

  • Alright! A Dissidia Final Fantasy Demo! I can finally see if it lives up to my expectations. I’m a huge Final Fantasy Fanatic. This is gonna be so awesome…

  • Cross Edge DLC you say? YES

PSone RPG you say? “F” YES

RPG inspired fighter demo, eh? HELL YES

    BEST WEEK SINCE LAUNCH!!

I’ll be purchasing Shatter down the line. Always been a fan of Block Breaker/Arkanoid style games.

Picked up those games that went on sale last week. (Purchased them purely on principle, I rarely like anything non-RPG) I’m surprised at how fun and challenging Savage Moon can be. Didn’t think I’d like the new tower defense fad. Could be a new interest for me after all. Please continue with the occasional sale. You never know when you might open someones mind to a different kind of game just by making the price low enough for someone like me to say: “For that price, why not.” Thanks again.

  • … as for Fallout 3 update, they already announced a couple week ago, and for Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders – never been on PS ver, its on Nintendo therefore it wont be on PSN >.> lol

  • Are we getting the full version of Final Fantasy Dissidia on the PS Store? Cuz it’s the only way I’ll be buying it

  • Crystal defenders was announsed for the psn, the Japanese psn already has it, in English I might add. So if you can’t wait, make a Japanese account and download it now, like I did.

  • Hey, anyone else having a problem adding funds to their wallet?
I tried adding funds to my wallet but I got a message popping up saying ‘could not add funds’.
I tried a few more times, still no luck. Then I check my bank account and see that they charged me for all the times I tried to add funds, with no actual funds in my wallet!

    This happened to anyone else?

  • Thanks for giving us different Top Downloads for PSP and PSOne classics…..but you didn’t have to take away the Top Downloads for Add ons :)

  • Love the Uncharted 2 counter. :D Seriously. For some reason, seeing that counter go down every day makes games seem like they come faster. >.>

    Thanks Jeff!

  • I was wondering for the psone classic you guys would considering making Tomba!! If you do much thanks!!

  • World At War Demo ? Wow. I was just about to buy the game. Now I can try it.

  • Great update.

  • WOW – Shatter, well, shattered the crown previously held by Magic Ball as the best (only?) brick-busting game on the PSN. Or anywhere for that matter. What a fantastic gem! Hope it sells fantastically! Job well done Sidhe!!! :)

  • Why is that Europe didn’t have a classic game for nearly 2 months now? I seriously don’t get it and am really tired of their excuses. Kuddos to you Americans!

Ow and people whining about Trine, Europe won’t even get the game next week. Next week is my birthday and if the US has the game released in the store next, then screw Europe, but I’ll be buying the US version instead!

I downloaded Shatter from the EU Store, really looking forward to play it :-)

  • I’ll try Dissidia……..

  • Does the DLC for BlazBlue EVER come out for PS3???

  • The WipEout HD Fury, and the Killzone DLC packs are VERY welcome.. Thankyou.. But I do have to admit that I was seriously bummed out to see that the new LittleBIGPlanet costume pack wasn’t there. I was also hoping for TRINE..

My biggest question, is why are there still so few UMD legacy games available? Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was available as a DOWNLOAD day 1 in the Euro store? Why isn’t it here?

  • @146 – Probably because the standard edition of the game won’t be on store shelves for possibly another 2 weeks, and the Limited Edition of the game is neigh unto IMPOSSIBLE to find outside of overpriced eBay auctions.
