I don’t think i have ever laughed that hard with a DLC as with the Disgaea 3 bundle.

That’s more than the game costs pretty much anywhere. I know there is a lot on it, but seriously… Completely absurd pricing.

normal update at best… is there any news of any more patches for games that are already released that are gettin trophy support? or are the people that have most of the older ps3 releases screwed when it comes to them..

no offense to any of the new titles but right now i play more of the older ps3 release’s right now than most of the newer games..

I just cant see how Naughty Dog can patch Uncharted 1 and use the in-game achievments and Ubisoft cant patch thier vegas titles and just use the in-game awards or even Assasin’s creed 1 for instance…

Would be great if they added Twisted metal series to PSN.We only have Twisted metal 2. It would also be nice if they added WWF smackdown and WWF smackdown 2. The graphics may have been crappy, but it was really fun. I’ll eventually buy MvC2, so thanks for adding that.

lol, i didn’t realize how much i had spent on disgaea dlc. seeing it as one large pack marked at 50 bucks was quite the surprise. nonetheless most of it was worth the cost, especially the extra raspberyl chapters.

Seriously, why the weak update for the PSP?
My advice, better start getting a lot of the popular PSP titles from 2005 to today (i.e. The GTA games, MGS: PO and PO+, FF7 Crisis Core etc.) as download contents for the PSP. Otherwise, expect the PSP GO to be a complete failure.

Also, would it be too much to ask for SNK titles like KOF 98 UM, Samurai Shodown 2, Fatal Fury Special etc? Or maybe the old TMNT Arcade Game or TMNT in Time Reshelled for both PSP and PS3? It’s quite unfair that other consoles have much more content than PSN Store.

+ SackAttack on August 14th, 2009 at 1:18 am said:

There has to be a pricing error somewhere on the Disgaea 3 DLC pack. The only way, given what’s available for download, to get anywhere CLOSE to $49.99 is to download everything, even if that means downloading both the Chapters 1-4 Beryl pack and the separate chapters (1, 2, 3 and 4) as well as the characters, both separately and in the bundles.

Do all of that, buy all of the available themes as well, and you wind up at $52′ish.

If you buy all of the themes and various bundles, you wind up at…$30.91, if I’ve done the mental math right.

There’s an extra $19.09 that isn’t getting accounted for somewhere. Got to be either stuff getting doubled up on in that bundle pack, or one whopper of a secret bonus set of DLC in the $49.99 pack.

Disgaea 3 DLC bundle is WAY overpriced.
If there was no repetition in DLC, it’d make sense… otherwise, you’re spending $49.99 for about $30.91 (or $30.90 if you’re a bit smarter) worth of content. That means the exclusive theme is $19.09 ($19.10)!? I don’t think so.

For me the update was pretty lackluster. MVC2 is sweet, but I will wait on it. I am all burned out on fighters the the moment. But I am really waiting for the Capcom PS1 titles that were promised and keep on not showing up. Very frustrating.

I like that PS1 titles are continually added, but most I have not heard of nor would care to get. With the ton of huge releases on the PS1 you would think we would see more of those games. I also see if the name is big at all it will be 10 bucks. Why buy the original Tomb Raider which has aged terribly and controls even worse, when you can get the anniversary edition for a few dollars more?

Hi! Why can’t the online Playstation Store make what’s new THIS WEEK as clear and obvious as they do here? According to the Store, there are well over a hundred things that are “NEW” every single week! Obviously that’s not true – there’s new and then there’s NEW. Why not make THIS WEEK’S new stuff OBVIOUS, and list the “old” new stuff in a way that CLEARLY segregates it from what really is new THIS WEEK?

If you plan to buy MvC2, expect it to freeze a lot when searching for a player. I’m sick of anything going to the PS3 at a 3rd rate game and Sony has no standards of acceptable quality.

I’m waiting on Trine, personally. I *might* pick up Turtles in Time if I can check out a demo to ascertain the video and audio quality first. A big part of me is still hoping we’ll get Secret Of Monkey Island Special Edition with lossless 24-bit audio.

PS: I’ve seriously had enough of the glut of fighting/brawler and racing games on PSN. It’s getting pretty ridiculous and is moving away from the stream of unique and quirky content that PSN was delivering pretty consistently a year or so ago.

Also, can we please get Tomb Raider: Legend as a PS3 downloadable? and the TMNT movie game?

I love Tomb Raider, but I have no interest in downloading the PS1 version of the original when Legend delivers a much better, yet still authentic, experience.

Looks like the PSP gets the shaft again. Even the DLC for the PSP version of RockBand has been kinda lacking IMHO. Sony better drop some Demos for Soul Caliber: Broken Destiny, MotoStorm: Arctic Edge, and Grand Turismo portable.

Or there are going to be a mighty few games for me and others to buy this year. Currently I’m looking for PSP games, but as of late it’s been none stop PS3 talk here on the blog, vary little info about a new WipEout PSP game, Or more info on MotoStorm, or even SOCOM for that matter.

Why Sony seems fit to blab up the Failing PS3 and talk down the PSP it’s currently top selling platform even now beating out the PS2 for sales is beyond me.
