I’m still really skeptical about this. I played FFXI for a while but I got REALLY tired of having to wait for a damn PT. Hopefully when they say you can solo its not really just soloing up to lvl 10 :|

On the off chance that EA is the cause of this, I will not be purchasing another EA game until PS3 has cross chat support. This will be difficult because of games like Dragon Age, but I already have far more games than I have time to enjoy them anyway.

I’ve posted this protest on the EA forums as well, heres hoping for continued growth and support for all consoles without added limitations.

Mithra/Mi’qote! HOT! but anyway, I love to solo… in FFXI it isnt much fun. Everything is hard and you always have to watch your back. But like the person above me sayin…
honestly i liked soloing more than partying.
You could end up in a horrible party made by noobs or experience players who are complete asses. Either way, I loved FFXI despite those problems. Not many friends made but I just enjoyed the game. So Im hoping FF14 blows 11 out the goddamn water.

Yes, buying the game is more than enough. Especially if you are getting it for PS3. They should at least keep the price like FFXI and take off that 1.00 each additional character (like WoW, each added char was free!)

Im glad they’re changing the game. Maybe it’s a very good thing they are because I was not really thrilled about having to party with people nearly all the time to do a majority of the quests in FFXI. As for taking out experience points… Im not so ready for that but willing to convert to this new armor system thing. Beautiful graphics, not-so-different races…(probably evolved or something slightly different), more solo play (no more shouting for help hopefully) and SURNAMES!
