I played the game for much of the day it was released (thanks for releasing it over the Labor Day Weekend, Sony!).

If you’re new to fighting games, even the Normal mode is pretty relaxed, to start. The Easy mode, even more so. It’s a very easy game to get into, to the point where at first I thought the AI had some sort of bug (I was able in Normal mode to take Strider all the way to the end of her eight battles without much trouble, mainly by using her strong attack a lot). However, once you go a little further, you’ll find it as challenging as any fighter Capcom’s ever released. And especially on Arcade or Hard mode, you’ll find plenty to deal with.

I could use some tips on how to complete the Style missions; they’re particularly hard, since the combos are long strings and I find them a bit of a challenge. It’s probably just practice, though.

The artistry in this title is remarkable; the characters are very true to what I’ve seen of the Anime series, and the overall design is very coherent and stylish.

Any word on a UMD or PS2 version release? I’d much rather play it on the PS2 if possible or at least settle for a physical copy for the PSP. I’ll probably end up importing the JP version when I get a PSP anyways.
