  • Thank you…

    I’m in heaven…

    *Knees down*
Will you marry me PS Store?

  • little big planet watchmen costumes?!?!?!?!?!?
when do the preorders for little big planet psp start?

  • I knew you guys were gonna do something like this with the psp games; make a huge ripple by releasing like 100 games all at once, and the update is even before thursday…its only 10:05 on wednesday for me…total WIN.

  • Darn…NOTHING FOR ME…NO DYNAMIC THEMES or AVITARS (AGAIN).I’ll be keeping my “FATTY PSP” til the buttons break off until you guys realise a second analog stick is a must have..Even then the GO isn’t worth 200 bucks.

  • good update, but still sucks now FF VIII, or dissidia for those that just want a Psp Go, i know its just day one, and maybe they’ll add more stuff during the day (doubt it) but not bad for a kickoff, still missing a ton of umd games though, that aren’t first party

  • ok seriously i NEED to know…

EVERY dynamic theme will cost 2.99??

  • Only ones Ill be buying is NIS games that is coming up in about 15 hours…

  • beaterator here i come!

  • what happen to http://store.playstation.com and is media go available for mac?

  • Nice super early update.

    Thanks guys!

  • Can’t wait to get to my ps3.

  • 3.0 was nothing but a waste bugged out adware.

  • Um Jammer FREAKING Lammy!!!!!!!!

This week’s update is pure awesomesauce!!!!

  • WOW, getting an early start I see heh heh, Freaking MASSIVE update great job guys, seriously awesome!!! :D :D :D

  • I think you guys forgot to put Final Fantasy Dissidia up there…. That was on the top of my list and it looks like it’s not coming today….. Why not just make new psp games 34.99 though? Games are discounted on day one now a days on sites like amazon.com, etc…. I just hope you guys monitor retail prices to adjust them when prices drop.

On a side note… Awesome sauce! Great update and a lot of great PSP games for my GO, I can’t wait to get it tomorrow. Thanks for the overnight update so we didn’t have to sit around waiting for the update at night. Btw Um Jammer Lammy? Woot! lol

Are games going to launch on PSN at midnight on the launch date or on Thursdays only? Just curious when to look out for upcoming games.

  • Nice Update. Why not just update the store as necesarry? Thursday doesn’t have to be the only day.

    Ico/SoTC remastered edition please!!!

  • Freaking Amazing…I love it

  • man no nba 2k10 demo? thats weak…

  • what the hell gives some of the prices r wrong on here https://blog.playstation.com/2009/09/nis-re-releasing-psp-titles-plus-holy-invasion-of-privacy-badman-umd-poll/

it says there games will be cheaper well yea i think u get where im goin at on that so what happened and what gives?

  • Sweet! THanks :D

  • That question was regarding digital PSP games, let me try again lol.

Are PSP games going to launch on the PSN at midnight on the launch date or on Thursdays only? Just curious when to look out for upcoming games.

  • Holy shatballs what an update!

    Grace,
Would it be possible to look into bringing the PS One Classic Diablo to the store? I dont think many people remember this game was on PS One as well as PC, and I think it would be AWESOME to be able to play on my PSP.

    Thanks

  • The prices seem to be what most people would have expected.

However Resistance and god of war are priced well. Especially GoW, if you don’t have that game it’s a must for $15.

I personally don’t care about the go at this point, but I hope everyone who gets one enjoys it. I’m just excited to finally get to play GT PSP.

  • You guys weren’t kidding when you said you were going to add a lot of PSP Games…

  • Oh and tetris for $10, what is that about? It costs more than fieldrunners.

  • I don’t understand how none of the final fantasy’s are on there.

Ive never owned a psp before, but im getting the pspgo tomorrow.

My favourite games ( crisis core, dissidia, and final fantasy game ) are all not on there? Those are like the biggest titles for the psp and the main reason im getting it?

Will they be added later? I don’t want a go if it doesn’t have those.

  • Grace, any chance we could get the PS1 game: ‘Magic The Gathering: Battlemage’ as a PS1 Classic download?

  • this week’s update is pure awesomesauce! too bad it’s only 1 in the morning and no stores are open for me to pick up a psn card :( :(

  • Kinda disapointed. I’m paying full price for a PSP game that I can’t hold onto, plus paying $250 just to be able to play a game I could already on a $100 regular PSP? Disapointed even with a large amount of games available. Hard copies are still the way to go. Bad marketing is bad.

  • If PSP Minis are designed to take advantage of the sales mentality and phenomenon of games on the iPhone… why are they all priced between $5-10?

There’s a huge number of good iPhone games available from $1-$3.

This, combined with the lack of a trade in program (legal issues? even with SCEA titles? who do you think you’re kidding?) is just another nail in the coffin of the PSP Go launch. I want one very badly but I can’t play any of the 33 games I own for the PSP already. This just leaves me hanging and reluctant to buy any PSP games at all until the issues are resolved. There are a bunch of great looking PSP titles coming out and I can’t buy any of them!

Fix it, Sony! Let me buy your stuff!

  • Nice update, and a day early, Sony you’re catching on..

Tip move updates to Tuesday, one day before that other company updates their store. Get people to spend their limited money with you.

  • Lots of content. Nice.
    Odd price points…not so nice.

minis should have mini prices…10 bucks for tetris is over the top imo. Should be 3 buck MAX. But…I do have the freedom to not buy.

Surprised PJMD is 20 considering the price on the PS3 releases…guess I’ll just keep playing via remote play.

DHF/Prinny/WTF all seem to be good value.

  • Wow very nice, downloading Digger and Qore now. I never check the blog this late but decided to, glad I did lol

  • @starBlinky01 – I know, i really hate the pricing inconsistency of things. Why do some PS1 games cost more full fledged PSN games? Why are PSP games like $30 when they are like half the price in stores.

That said, i’m glad there are a crapload of games here, They are all pretty expensive and all cost more the PSN games, but nothing i can do about that :\

    I want Digger HD though.

  • for us Australians, any idea when our region is going to receive these updates?

I’m feeling ill and the only cure is the Brutal Legend demo…

  • The Mini price are the same as full PS1 games, I thought there was going to be a $2-$4 price model and at the size of 20-40MB, I am not pay $4.99-9.99 for that. That feels like a total rip off.

The prices for PSP games are agreeable except for the new releases that you get without the casing, manual, and extras for the same price. Do these titles have an in-game manual like the PS1 games or are we just thrown into it without anything? If there’s nothing to it, I can’t say I agree with the prices.

  • I love the idea of the psp go, I want one, I just wish PSN titles were playable and that minis were playable on PS3. Actually, I wish PSP titles were playable on ps3. That and making the go a phone already with 3g/4g support or allow bluetooth teathering to phones. Just technical wants really… PSP on PS3 and PSN on PSP are my biggest, then anywhere access with PSP.

On the digital pricing side, digital games should be a lot cheaper. We are not getting anything physical, they should be $10 or more less in price. Companys save money on production and shipping and printing.

  • I would like to request the PSN folks to please make a section that specifically lists out recent or temporary price drops within the PSN store so that they’re made more clear to people who don’t exactly make much, if any, use of the PS blog or other store-update listing sites.

  • I wait for any great update in the MEXICAN STORE :( and TRINEEE… WHERE ARE YOU??? :(

  • WHERE IS DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY? WHAT. THE. HECK! HHHHHHHHHOOOOOWWWW DARE THEY DO THIS TO ME! My psp go HAS NO FANTASY

  • E P I C UPDATE.

WOuld love to see G-Police and Einhander for PS One Classics.

Where is my Premium Solid Snake Avatar? :D

  • was excited to get my psp go tommorow becuase i thought dissidia was gonna come out.very dissapointed

  • NICE, great for my psp 3000…gots to go buy more PSN cards lol

  • If I could suggest something about the ‘PSP Games’ section (even PS3 games i suppose). In addition to seperating all the games by alphabet, could you add a folder which lists everything available? Folders by alphabet is great if you know what you’re looking for, but what about when you just want to browse the selection. As it is, it is pretty tedious to look through each category, back out, then select the next one.

  • Headphone jack on Dualshock 3!
    can you dig it?

  • Forgot to add, Pixeljunk Monsters for the PSP is $20 when the PS3 version is only $10? Sony really needs to take another look at some of their pricing…

  • What a week to have my PS3 crap out on me (again… ahem)! Looks like it’ll be back on Friday, though… :\

Soul Calibur BD- finally! I want to pick up Prinny on sale, too- but I have Uncharted coming out in 2 weeks and ANOTHER $150 PS3 repair to pay for… sigh.

  • I’m pleasantly surprised by the game pricing. I was worried that we’d be charged $30-40 for each full game that we wanted to buy from the store, but that isn’t the case.

Now I just need some of my old faves to be up on the PSStore (such as Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star Portable), and I’ll consider getting a PSP Go.

  • Hold on… I thought the NISA sale was supposed to have price listings of 4.99 to 9.99? The list of games posted in the NISA post does not match up with the 14.99 listing of two of their games. Is the “temporary price drop” of Badman supposed to be part of the sale, then?
