Is the patch for the 3.00 update out yet? Has it been fixed? I haven’t downloaded 3.00 yet because it might hurt my PS3, so I’ll download 3.00 once it is patched, so I’ll get it when 3.01 or 3.1 is out. Come on PS3 community leaders, if you know that 3.00 is broken, why keep it up and still make it mandatory for users to download for online play!? Will there be an announcement when the update has been fixed?

@Roze. I downloaded 3.00 and haven’t had a problem. From what I’ve heard the only problem people are having with the update are with the white PS3 controllers, other than that I’ve not heard anything and I check sites that’d report it fairly often, so if you have a black sixaxis/DS3 you’ll be fine.

You have quite a few banners all over PlayStation.com that have the PLAYSTATION logo instead of the PlayStation one. For example the blog look up at the top.

WOW….Drakes fortune is just amazing. The whole ability now to make your own Drake movies?! And it’s so in depth….Just the fact that the lips will move with your speech through the headset is great. This game is going to be epic.

Anyone know where I can recycle a dead PS3? I got YLOD’d 2 weeks ago and I don’t know what to do with this thing. I’m not buying a heat gun and/or soldering kit to try and fix it, I just bit my tongue and bought a slim (very nice BTW).

My first blog and am happy to report great news…Had an older friend come over and practically make fun of me because I bought almost everything..he basically looked at me and said”Get A Life”…lol..That was until I let him head to the Godfather 2 area and play cards..He got a taste of real interaction as the guy he beat jumped up from the table and told him a thing or 2..I saw his eyes open wide and grab the keyboard and say..Man..did that guy just boo me?lol…I said yes..Next thing I know..He’s in the bowling ally..Playing pool and all around LOVES it….He is in his 40’s…and called today and asked could he come and play…
Sony?You are wonderful.Thank you so much..and for the input,good and bad from this blog…

Kind of a tumultuous week, huh? Some good information here and there, but nothing that made me fall out of my chair with excitement. Looking forward to Demon’s Souls, and seriously considering preordering. One thing I’ve been wondering about is why it’s Demon’s (singular) and not Demons’ (plural)- please, please, please tell me this isn’t a massively overlooked typo.

That sort of discussion really belongs in the PlayStation.com forums, but as a quick response, you may be able to trade it in to Gamestop or wherever for a bit of change. The other option is just give it away on Craigslist (cheaper to repair a PS3 for $150 than buy a completely new one). You CAN take it to the electronics section of a dump, but given the alternatives (make money or make someone happy), why would you?

Hey sony this prolly isnt the right place but I got an 80gb 399.99 version of the ps3 (without the memory card readers and what not) and both my ds3 and uncharted dont work.

Just a heads up, Figured id let yah know since it might help with trouble shooting.

Sorry to keep pestering you about this but I would really like your advice on this. Should any fans looking out for an english language PS3 release of Tales of Vesperia give up already? Or is there still a remote possibility of it happening? I really wish Namco Bandai would just come out and say definitively they won’t be releasing it if they don’t intend to. I really would like to know what my options are.
