Seriously Sony, don’t release a device that is all digital when you release pathetic updates like these. Where is our Dissidia? The only new games on the PSP this week are 2 SPORTS games??? You just can’t seem to succeed with the PSP. Perhaps you should give it to Nintendo, i’m sure they could make it blast-off with popularity.

What the…

Seriously, Sony?

SERIOUSLY?

Is this why I bought a PSPgo?

+ Lemonsaint on October 8th, 2009 at 4:12 pm said:

Sweet! Pandemonium was the first game I bought for my PSOne … along with Bust_A-Move! A definite DL for nostalgia purposes!

What, no demos?

+ Mikaa1701 on October 8th, 2009 at 4:12 pm said:

Let me guess: twice a month with major updates? Granted, Pandamonium is decent, but why not more??

And where are the new PS3 PSN games?

I will get critter crunch, but I’ll wait until they have enough to buy that I can get a $20 PSN card then purchase.

Pathetic PSP update. Absolutely pathetic. As a recent buyer of a PSPgo, this update is basically a slap in the face. As if the price was not enough of a slap in the first place.

Sony, you better get your act together and soon because this kind of support for the PSPgo will put it in the bargain bin much much sooner than you ever dreamed.

+ tobi316 on October 8th, 2009 at 4:13 pm said:

Another week goes by and still not 2K10 demo.

+ Anti-Dentite on October 8th, 2009 at 4:14 pm said:

Yeah, I knew this would happen. How in the **** are you going to expect to sell PSP Go systems if you don’t support it well. ONE crappy basketball game for the PSP? Really? Jesus Christ SCEA. You all are garbage.

+ Leanhartx on October 8th, 2009 at 4:14 pm said:

lol I bought a go and you guys gave me absolutely nothing worth my time and money.

I have to thank sony for proving how much of a failure they are once again. I think ill smash this go, buy a DSI, and continue playing my xbox 360 and kill the thought of ever getting a ps3.

such a dissapointment, I don’t even really care about what you add to the classics… you can’t even release games for the PSP itself yet you make it completely digital.. yea I think im going to get this go hacked and just get free games. no point in feeding sony any money whatsoever.

Wow! Sony is showing such great support for the PSP Go! All those new digital downloads this week! Seriously, what the heck is wrong with Sony? Are they trying to fail? I am so glad I didn’t buy the Go, I mean what would I be playing right now?……(sound of crickets…) Do they think that God of War and Gran Turismo alone are going to carry this new techno waste of money? Glad I have my 3000 and all the UMD games I didnt give away.

We should sell our PSPgos and just buy one of these:

Also I do not own psp have the iPhone I would purchase the go psp if it had trophy support linked withnps3 system for overall level an then jus broken down between. Decent cheap minis with online support updates, multiplayer ect. Also screen should b bigger more psp ps3 controller support games!

A word of advice to the us blog: Do what the eu blog does and post what the store content will be before updating the store. That way we can get over the disappointment for lack of content quicker. This update is weak. Might as well start the blog with “Its time for the WEAKLY update”. I apologise, that was lame.

As a new PSPgo owner who has never had a PSP previously, I have to say that it’s pretty sad to see really nothing come out. Like half the titles in the top ten PSP games on metacritic aren’t on the PSN PSP store. Can we at least know that things like FF:Dissidia and Crisis Core are coming?

+ twooh on October 8th, 2009 at 4:23 pm said:

@3

The GO! is garbage. The people that bought it should take it back and get a 2000 model. There’s lots of games for it and they’re less than half the cost of a digital version.

- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – -

LMAO @ NBA LIVE 10 ($39.99)- Digital

And that’s the cost of the UMD too. Soo glad digital saves the company $ on distributing costs and still shafts the consumer.

Come on Sony let’s get on a schedule of more ps1/psp games per week.
Pushing downloads isn’t anything if you have nothing new to download.

That said, last week’s update was great.

Where’s the Keys for Alex & Gloria’s Costume for Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds? We supposed to get them on 10/01/09 (last week) but it was not there. Same thing this week and it’s still not there. Please contact Clap Hanz on why we didn’t get the costumes yet. I’m very disappointed Sony when you promised something on a day, you supposed to release it on the same day. As I said before I’m very disappointed. :(

Where is Gex: Enter the Gecko (PSOne Classic)? Why did you release Gex 3 first? This is a pretty underwhelming update, there should be way more support in PSOne classics, and for PSP in general, especially since you just released the PSP Go last week.

Bad form!

I can’t believe we have only 2 new downloable PSP games with the Go now on the market. I just bought a 16GB Memory Stick for my PSP 2000 to fit all the new downloadable PSP games, but if they’re going to trickle out at the rate of 2 per week, I’ve wasted my money. What about the rest of the PSP backcatalog??
