  • wow I just need to comment again on how much I hate sony right now.

  • Wow…I am so glad that I bought my PSP Go! to download Pandemonium! Maybe I will also download some overpriced minis while I am at it.

Grace – you really earned some job security this week.

  • Decent update

    Thanks

  • oh joy, you can pay $5 to unlock everything that can normally be unlocked if you play the game.

when are more PS1 classics going to be released like the Oddworld games for example

  • What a joke. I get a Go then I see this horrible update. Come on Sony, give the Go users what you promised…stuff to download!! I was expecting to see massive PSP content.

  • Wow…. complete fail for the PSPgo and PSP platforms. This is what you’re going to provide each week to NEW PSP customers? I’d advise them to return their PSPs. Apparently Sony is back to business as usual.

    Fail Whale.

  • Wow the whiny babies are out in full force. So let me get this straight: You’re all upset because there are only 2 PSP games this week after there were 100 last week?

Did you already buy those 100 games from last week? No? Then shut up. Did you really think they were going to put out tons of games every week? If you did you’re ignorant.

It’s back to normal for now. And GTA Liberty City Stories is coming soon and GTA Chinatown Wars comes in two weeks.

    STFUAJPG!

  • Seriously Sony, you guys are not ready for a full digital service. Im reconsidering my thought of getting a GO now.

  • lame lame lame

  • All you people who have purchased the GO better hope for custom firmware. Seriously. You’re not going to get good support from Sony on Sony products. Look at the PS3 and it’s updates. All Garbage. Fire everyone at SCEA please.

  • Where are the NEW UMD games? Why wait any longer? My Go is rotting here.

  • Ahh.I was hoping for good content for this week and also knowing psp games for psp go.but oh well decent content tho for now i’ll keep waiting and holding onto the Psn cash.

  • Will the US Store be treated with a free Dynamic Theme, EU and Japan did.

  • So, is the PSP Go dead already? Is there a new system I should know about? I absolutely love paying an elevated price for absolute crap the week after the system comes out. You could at least give us a schedule for when you plan to put the old PSP games online…

  • whoa seriously Sony, I thought you could do better than that!!

Is that just the great weekly update we all have been waiting for? Seriously only 1 game!!?

  • PSP GO owners = Owned…by Sony lol

  • best go and return your go’s to gamestop while u still can…. lol

  • Awesome update, still hoping for Dissidia for Go owners!

  • This is really disappointing. My PSPGo was paid in full back before you started stripping away all the things which drove my purchase to begin with (UMD Transfers, 600+ games in the store at launch, etc…). I feel like a total sucker for supporting this platform when every instinct I had said to wait and see how well you supported it before getting roped in to a losing proposition. Now we’re a week after launch and already the faucet of new content is more or less shut down? Seriously, not even a single lousy Mini or some sort of legacy UMD rehash? All of my good faith is used up, and I’m really just frustrated and angry. I know you don’t OWE us anything, but your strategy for selling this system has been pretty misleading, compared to the reality of what has happened. You can harp about how you have your hands tied with DRM and rights being improperly negotiated, but from this side of the PR machine, it’s getting pretty deep. My disposable income will go to your competition for the time being, and until you can demonstrate that you are interested in supporting your base, I’m going to be hesitant to throw any more money or support in your direction. Thanks for pretty much nothing.

  • Dissidia please LOL :-) I can wait a little longer, but not much–starting to feel left out!

Also, is there any way you guys could score us

    Bloody Roar 2

    Battle Arena Toshinden (1, 2 and 3)

    Xenogears

    Parasite Eve (1 and 2)

Ehrgiez (you can forget about Tobal 1–go for Ehrgiez instead!!)

    Bushido Blade series

    Brave Fencer Musashi

I really love my GO so please give me more games to buy for it hehe:-)

Oh, and masterful move last week releasing Jumping Flash 2—my family had limited funds back in the 90’s so I never got to play JF2 (loved the first one to death) and now, I get to catch up on the series–it was as good as I hoped it to be!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Honestlt now Sony. You want to increase traffic to the PSN Store by plastering your ugly Store icon all over the XMB, making us stare at scrolling adds, and that stupid what’s new thing you got going on. Than you give us crap updates, with more than Pathetic games like CC. It is such a generic puzzler, been there done that. To add insult to injury you ignore and avoid your customers with such evasiveness you make congress look like saints. Thank you for showing us, your customer, just how much you really care.

  • @119 and how many different Sony products have you owned? Every thing they do has a slow start leading up to a good run (PS3 and PSP, PSNetwork, PSOne rerelases)—I think most people forget how big of a transition this represents–it is like the fight Apple had to deal with in pushing a truly consumer-focused MP3 player–don’t worry it’ll take off hold on to your GO!

  • Yay! More Fallout 3 DLC…maybe they will learn not to give the competitors time exclusive on DLC now that Fallout DLC has the the top three spots on the most downloaded.

  • whoever agrees with this update should burn themselves consistently with a lighter.

I can’t get over how I got screwed over by actually believing sony would deliver with the go.

    LOL.

and then the kid says were crying because we didnt play the 100 trash games they uploaded last week.

  • So Pulse 10/8 Edition
File size: 47 MB was the best thing you could offer this close to the PSP Go’s launch?

No Dissidia, no Playstation games worth downloading, basically nothing. Well, I suppose there are the rather costly themes and the overpriced Rockband Unplugged downloads to choke on this week. Glad I wasn’t planning on purchasing much more anytime soon, since it looks like there won’t be anything worth buying for a bit.

  • Thank goodness I have 30 days to return my PSP Go. If this is the kind of support I can expect for it (and probably should have in the first place), then forget it.

I’ve never seen a company so adverse to selling things before.

  • Thanks for the update you money grubbing waste of time.

Rather than sit on your money try to release something at least half decent every update.

Way to fail yet again Sony; good job a sucking, you win.

  • Seriously, WTF!
When they added 100 games last week they could have atleast added some worth. And so what were never going to get third party games because its up to them to put them on the store. Were stuck with official sony games which isnt a whole lot. Thank god I have 90 days to return my go. I’m giving it a 2 more weeks and then its back to store it goes.

  • Are we spoiled for content now? I remember when we’d have consecutive weeks without a demo or game release lol. Now we complain when there isn’t a demo for a single week? Come on guys….

  • Really SCEA? a [DELETED] joke really. at LEAST be on par with your SCE/WWS partners. You are just throwing away every reason for anyone to WASTE $250 on that piece of crap you’ve released.

  • I have to admit, this update is quite a letdown. 3 psp games? Are Sony try to make PSP Go owners look like fools for purchasing the system? I expected much more from this weeks update considering its the second week since PSP Go has been released. SMH! :|

  • Yeah, where the **** is Darkstalkers? I’m TIRED of Sony! I’m tired of their bull**** promises and crappy updates, and their poor support for the PSP. Sometimes I wish they would hack the PSPgo and run them to the ground… >:(

  • Yeah, last weeks “games” were meager at best. Perhaps maybe 3 worthwhile games if I didn’t already own them on UMD.

Do you really believe we’ll be getting GTA Chinatown Wars on day one digitally? LMAO. Sony doesn’t care, that was made pretty loud and clear by Eric’s interviews in the last couple days plus by this horrible update.

The PSPgo is a failure and it’s only been one week.

Back to the drawing board Sony.

  • Also, to all new PSP Go owners:

If you even remotely like RPGs, go buy Jeanne D’Arc RIGHT NOW. You will absolutely love it. It’s reasonably priced, and at the very least it will keep your face buried in your PSP till next week. Probably longer, though.

    Seriously. Buy it.

  • just boycott the go’s for a few week see what happens…:)

  • Where is Dissidia?!?!? Seriously, this is starting to piss me off!

  • oh sony. YOU GUYS ROYALLY MESSED UP THIS WEEK.

You guys said 700 PSP titles would be available for digital distribution. Why are only 95 games currently out on the playstation network? Why is it that this weeks PSN update is a pile of crap compared to last week’s. We got 1 stupid NBA game that is garbage that hardly anyone will buy. Why aren’t you guys releasing the games people have been waiting for since last week. Final Fantasy Dissidia is one example, you guys rather release half of the 95 psp games that people didn’t even buy or that really suck first then to bring out popular titles like FF Dissidia or even the MGS series. I’m curious to find out what your thought process is towards your consumers because waiting another week to see if you guys would put more psp digital titles up and failed on adding a stupid nba game. You guys stated that after the Go was released and digital copies went up by 200 percent in sales. What does that show you guys? Were hungry for these games, not the crappy ones that you see at Game Stop for 5 bucks. I know I am not the only person that feels like you guys are screwing over the community by not providing us with the titles we want and even make threads on the forums about.

  • Go buyers have been owned by Sony.

  • Only 2 PSP games? And sports ones at that.

Give us some Rpgs please. I want Half Minute Hero, Dissidia and Crisis Core this month please. I bought the Go, I would like the games. Most are out already, and you guys have said that making digital copies is not that hard. So please get cracking!

    Thanks.

  • OMG THANKS FOR THE AVATARS AND DYNAMIC THEMES…….

  • @Zookey
What do you mean wait? The GO is a PSP, released over 5 years ago in Japan next month. And they still cant fix the biggest problem it ever had: Games. They trashing their own system.

  • too bad I bought a PSPgo

    :|

  • o i know…this is sonys version of a rick roll!! >.< now wheres the real content….cmon where is it….omg…

  • hmmm…. not looking good..

  • Not the greatest update, but I’m cool. Picked up Demon Souls yesterday, so I have plenty to do on the PS3. Great game!

  • Really disappointed in my PSP Go purchase right now.

  • Not a single demo and STILL no Trine?

    FAIL!

  • besides Fallout DLC, pretty tame update. Oh well after last week’s PSP bonanza you guys can have a free pass.

  • Jesus christ people they put up close to a 100 PSP games last week. And yet your complaining about a short week? yes it is disheartening that FF Disidia is still not up on the store, but there is so much stuff to play.

Here’s a hint, why not invest some time into a game that is already on the store, say maybe like MotoStorm or something instead of [DELETED] about the lack of things to waste money on

I’m surprised they put up a 100 games last week as it is, i can live with a short week considering the many gigs of Data that was uploaded last week.

My only complaint to Sony is some of the prices on these games. Other than that the Short Week doesn’t bother this PSPgo owner since you know i’m investing my time into GT & MotoStorm Artic Edge and Persona. I don’t need a wealth of new games when i’ve already got 3 games i’m currently investing my time into. I can live with a short week and i’m sure all of you can too.

  • So not only are there no dynamic themes, but we’re expected to pay for regular themes? No offense, but that’s both tacky and disappointing.
