It’s amazing how much more stuff you’d sell if you just listened to all the people and gamers who support you guys.

Add me to the list of people disappointed in no significant PSP Go updates.

At #201, Sony doesn’t like money apparently. I can understand not wanting to dump everything onto the store at once… but two basketball? Missing the third by the way (NBA2k10).. They could have at least put something on there for non sports fans.

I’m getting less and less excited for each PSN store update… I didn’t even realize it was today till I casually check the blog on the phone from work. I’m not even going to complain as to the content and PSN games, I’m simply going to talk with my money, which will rot in the digi-wallet for another week..

Wow, glad I rushed out and bought a PSPGo. Thanks for one game this week.

Terrible.

OK I don’t know whether to blame Capcom, Sony, or both, but I was really looking to Darkstalkers today. Even despite not having that game, today’s releases were just an incredibly poor job. Hey Sony protip, if you want to sell the PSP Go then don’t make it look like a joke with these updates.

Bulls**t. What a load of bulls**t. This update is a s**tload of f**k.

My prediction for 2010: SONY goes out of business. Its stupid updates like this that makes me regret buying a sony product and will cause Sony to crash and burn worse than Sega, in fact I WANT SONY TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. The PSP Go is the crappiest thing in existance. No support for owners with UMD eh?

Your “legal and techincal issues” reason for not transfering UMDS to Digital downloads is the sorriest excuse I’ve ever heard.

The Nintendo DSI is a much better choice than the PSP Go. Stick with that.

horrible update….just horrible

+ Zezzler on October 8th, 2009 at 5:42 pm said:

not the best update, but here are a few sugestion for future updates:

1. always have demos each week (for those cheap people who dont want to buy stuff)

2. now that the GO is offitially released, there should be a little more than the 3 playable psp titles released a week.

3. Dynamic Themes and Avatars. do i really need to say more? the idea of them is great, but we still havn’t seen any besides the first few themes (and no avatars) and its already been a month since it was said to be done. this should be one of the more regular things (more the avatars than themes), like once a week even just a couple.

4. maybe some 3rd party videos (like IGN_stragtigise, or IGN video reviews :D) in the ‘whats new’ section, and/or to download from the store

5. Keep up the same old awesome services and fan requests that you are known to do!

I hope this is taken seriously. thanks grace~

I have always been positive with Sony but this update does scare me. I am also one that bought a PSP Go. The main reason was the announcement of the PSP dev environment price reduction. I was expecting the PSP Go to get more bite sized apps. The competition in that space has already set the bar pretty high so I was at least expecting a half a dozen PSP mini games a week or so.

Please pickup the pace with the mini games.

I am hoping at some point Sony releases an SDK that hobbyists can also submit apps for inclusion. Let people use their own PSP to develop on.

215

+ Anabahabkuss on October 8th, 2009 at 5:56 pm said:

This is downright malicious of Sony. We are at their mercy with what we do with our time and money. They knew the GO was coming, they pushed heavily for it, they were rewarded with record download sales and this is what we get in return. There is no excuse for this whatsoever. If you can’t deliver on service for your product and can’t get behind it, why should we?

216

+ yoeun88 on October 8th, 2009 at 5:57 pm said:

Sony why release only 2 games for the psp and they’re the exact same kind of game? wtf? Not everyone likes nba games. Heres a good suggestion; release 1 game for every genre every week. Rpg, sport, puzzle, action, adventure, sim, and fighting. We want variety and quantity!

222

+ Anabahabkuss on October 8th, 2009 at 6:05 pm said:

@218

What does that have to do with anything? No, no one played every game on the store already and who are you to tell us what we should do with our time and money. If you have nothing intelligent to say, please refrain and spare us the ignorance.

The point is, Sony knew and has been planning the PSP GO launch for sometime now but apparently had no intention in delivering the goods, just making a quick buck. There’s no reason a GO owner shouldn’t be enjoying the same library the other PSP owners do. Not to say any of us expected to have EVERY game released but we know judging by last week that it can get done in a good amount.

Gese Sony.

How hard is it to do digital distribution right?

Here, let me solve it for you:

1: At least one Mini EVERY week
2: At least a half dozen from the back catelog every week till you’re all caught up
3: Every UMD PSP game that is released is also released for download at the same time

Why have you chosen not to do this?

Furthermore, change the store update day to Tuesdays so its the same day is retail releases. You could get the jump on the 360 this way too as they update on Wednesdays.

+ ShadowbladeXD on October 8th, 2009 at 6:25 pm said:

This really isn’t the best update but it is an update. Still waiting on FFVIII to arrive. You guys should really focus on getting the current best selling psp games, all of the final fantasies, and making sure that the downloadable version of a game is available for PSP Go users to download the week the game is released. Those are just my two cents though.

People are really up in arms over this update. I’m a PSP 3000 owner who bought a GO and I have to admit that this is a pretty lame update. There is really … nothing at all. Hopefully this changes sooner rather than later because even though I think the GO us PIMP and a sexy beast I’m not going to play this game when I could still be playing games on my 3000. I’ll give them another 2 weeks with the digital content and if it doesn’t improve I’ll return the damn thing. End of story. I bought a GO because I wanted it not because I had to have one … Sony isn’t making me want to keep one. It’s so confusing.

Where is Resident Evil 2/3?. I’m pretty sure that has been rated already so why just not go ahead and release it. Why make us wait so long when it is just sitting the gathering dust. i’m pretty sure NOBODY is going to download pandemonium. I’ve kept $16 on these two games in my wallet since May and I’m sick and tired of waiting while you just keep sending in crap.
