Awesome update! When can we expect more psp minis?
Decent update this week… surely for PSP. Question: Is the Hot Pockets PS3 theme temporary and/or dynamic?
Downloadable versions of UMD games should be sold for LESS than retail price. You are saving all that packaging, shipping, distribution cost! What a joke.
Where are all of the Dynamic Themes? So far the UK and Japan have both gotten one for free. Where is the one for the US? Also what about the new Avatars that were enabled with firmware 3.0 almost 2 months ago? Kind of sad that I am still forced to rock the same Avatar from launch.
okay update…but why do I see premium themes on uk account? ok so we still have the same ones…pain, pixel junk, lbp, and 1 or 2 others…give us more dynamic themes
When is Amazon.com going to update? It’s been two weeks…
Nice update. Definetly downloading the. Critter Crunch demo. And to end this comment… And yay from the Queen DLC!
Sorry to whoever is responsible fore it…but that Uncharted theme sucks hard. No special icons(oooo red), no sounds, only one background, plus its an advert. FAIL.
Awesome amount of PSP games. There are a few up there I wanted but didn’t feel like getting UMDs since they suck to have when traveling. May get them now that they are digital.
Not a bad week I suppose, but no cash from me.
*ALERT*
BUY CRITTER CRUNCH THE GAME IS AMAZING!
*ALERT*
what no uncharted 2 comic for canadian store!?! This is an outrage!!
PSN: Half-Minute Hero ($39.99)
Gamestop: Half-Minute Hero ($29.99)
Amazon: Half-Minute Hero ($27.99)
ToysRus: Half-Minute Hero ($29.99)
Target: Half-Minute Hero ($29.99)
Again, I feel cheated, the game I wanted the most since the system came out and I have to wait for a price drop. This is terrible, I hope this gets corrected soon.
For people wanting a TRINE demo check their website, they offer one for PC. Thats what I did cause I got tired of waiting for it to come to the PSN. I won’t be spending $19.99 for it.
Also I feel bad for the PSP GO buyers. Sony what gives? You are saving tons of money on the digital content yet charging more for it? What sense does that make? Seriously, stop and ask yourselves that.
I sold my PSP 3000 and the idea of digital media only via the GO sounds awesome to me, but at the rate you are going there is no way I’m buying one or the software for it at the ripoff your selling it at.
I was going to buy Trine, but that 5 dollar price drop from Burnout made me think twice.
And buy critter crunch! It’s got bang for the buck. I got it last week.
So…I wait a week for a downloadable version of Half-Minute Hero and I get charged $10 more for the trouble.
more dynamic themes please… u guys should feature these for new game releases that would be awesome… im just thinking what an uncharted 2, god of war, mw2, assasins creed dynamic theme would be like! and whats up with not having premium avatars yet… they better be animated like dynamic themes with as long as its taking 2 put even one up!
I have been waiting for this update all day, but the Ratchet and Clank Demo download is taking forever. Must be the tons of people wanting the demo
its an okay update considering the utter CRAP last time.
still no final fantasy but this will suffice till final fantasy FINALLY shows up next week [i can hope O_o]
~roik
FINALLY Trine is out, downloading it right now!
Why in the hell is the Uncharted comic not available in Canada? That is really, REALLY disappointing.
It was a good decision to release the R&C demo seperately. But damn, 2 gigs! I can’t imagine what’s gonna be in this.
Sony you are really screwing yourself over. You want people to buy Digital downloads for more money than what the UMD would cost in the store? I feel sorry for you people who wanted the over-priced PSP Go so bad.
Second, Sony really screwed Trine over. You want people to buy the game now for $20 now during the season (fall/winter) when all the AAA titles come out. This should have been released back in the summer when we were dieing for something to play on the PS3.
Dont believe Sony screwed Trine over? Frozenbyte explains.

Trine

Awesome.
Thanks !
I wouldn’t mind downloading the Oddworld games, I just wish there was a way to know how the controls are re-worked for the PSP as the game used all 4 shoulder buttons if I am not mistaken.
Yay, Trine is *finally* here!! Oh, wait, but now I don’t have the time to play it because I’m too busy with Uncharted 2, nor do I have the $ (Timing is everything guys)
Thanks for the Critter Crunch demo, definitely gonna give it a go.
Why in the Heck is Half-minute hero $10 more than the UMD! I understand needing to keep them at price parity but this is ABSURD!
Is there a particular reason why SCEA is too lazy to release anything non game related in Canada? First no movie store, then no plans for a PSP comic store, now no Uncharted comic. This is a tripe.
if the coming motion comics still have ads…count me OUT!
Does anyone know if they will or not?
I already own Oddworld on PS1 still so ‘ll be getting Trine, Beatles DLC and the Ratchet demos.
Does SCEA think Canadians are adverse to forms of media other than gaming? We get no movie store, we get no television store and now we get no Uncharted comic. Our dollar really isn’t that bad anymore that you shouldn’t want to take it.
Took out the link cuz they will probably delete the post above.
Check their forums.
I waited a week to buy Half Minute Hero digitally, and my reward is being asked for $10 more than retail? Why?
I really want to buy games as digital downloads rather than physical media. But I don’t want to spend $10 more to do it — especially when a great deal of that $29.99 retail price is to pay for packaging, manufacturing, and shipping costs.
Anyway, unless this is a soon-to-be resolved mix up, I’ll be buying the UMD, I guess.
the only thing i find good about this update is the amount of psp games. Hopefully it will continue to grow, but we shouldn’t have to wait till thursday just to spend our money.
You know it’s funny. I was considering purchasing Burnout Paradise on Friday and today there is a price drop. Thank goodness I hadn’t bought it yet.
1 demo for ratchet and clank is 2.4GB!?, the second one will probably be about the same. this demo better be long. i can’t complain about this week’s content but the update hours are just pathetic, not every one lives on the west coast.
They fixed Half Minute Hero. Only $29.99 on the store now. Nice selection of PSP games.
so are thos avatars you promised us ever coming out or you just gonna ignore the customers like usual…
I played the demo of the Star Wars game for PSP and it was not good.
So PSP games on PSN cost as much as the UMD (if not more) that I can either trade in when I’m done with it or give to others that have a PSP?
No turtle love this time.
Pretty good update. Not only do we get Trine, but also the R&CF demo and a Lumines price drop. Also Crimson Gem Saga is here! Great news! Scratch one game of the PSP list.
Now you need is to add Dissidia, Crisis Core, FFT: War of the lions, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Dracula X Chronicles, and Portable Ops…
I just checked the PSN on my PS3 and half-minute hero is actually 30 dollars on the actual store. It’s just a typo here. No need to be alarmed
its weird that Japan and Euro’s have gotten Dynamic Theme updates buy the states haven’t. Wonder what they are waiting for.
I like the update though.
Half Minute Hero is actually $29.99 on the PS Store. The $40 price is a misprint.
Also, two new minis released today: Vempire for $4.99 and Mahjonng Artifacts: Chapter 2 for $3.99…Why no mention of these Grace?!?
great price for burnout paradise. One of my favorite games ever.
Yay, Trine at last! :D Buying as soon as I log back onto my PS3. Small file size as well! :)
Test message..
We did get two new minis, Vempire is awesome, thanks!
DrHorrible256 — on my psp (where I want to buy it) it says $39.99
Grace, I just downloaded the psp beach theme 3 and 4, and it turned out to be the same beach theme 1 and 2, what is going on, I dont want to spend money again on something I already own, I have all beach themes 1,2,3 and 4 and they are all the same
Hey bond4eva – try redownloading them now through your download list. This has been fixed.
Sorry for the error.
