you should really consider releasing psp stuff and ps3 on different days or at least at different times. the update list is a giant wall of text.

its also not fun wading through the releases of 2 systems on psn. the psp SHOULD really have its own tab. its a viable game system; show some confidence in it! the tabs should be something like: ps3, psp, and video. less clutter, easier to navigate, less chance for things to get lost within a giant wall of text update list.

just a suggestion. keep the demos coming. i like to try before i buy. ive purchased many games that have demos too.

HOW could you guys drop the ball and not release Resident Evil 2 for Halloween?

Are your brains malfunctioning? This update is terrible. Pool is not interesting to me, that Hasbro board game crap is insanely overpriced, and STILL no avatars. Not to mention Europe got a Ratchet & Clank dynamic theme today and its nowhere to be found.

Lame guys, lame.

Hey there Sony,

I’m a little confused as to why you don’t have set release dates for PS1 games, could you tell me why? (Just because I missed out on that generation and I might as well buy the games from the developers who made them instead of buying them used, + PSP play is really great).

    There are a variety of reasons that need to be considered when releasing PSone classics… code emulation and testing, licensing rights, music clearances, etc.

+ gettinmoney662 on October 29th, 2009 at 6:24 pm said:

Once again, everyone here whining about their Go purchase on here and wanting their money back more than likely never bought a Go. Every issue you are complaining about was a well known issue before the Go’s release. You either bought it despite that or you did absolutely no research before dropping $250 on an upgrade of an old console. Either way, you are a moron.

You don’t buy consoles in anticipation of a game’s release. That’s just stupid. If you only bought a Go for Dissidia or Crisis Core, why would you buy it before they get released? No one even said anything about them being released and seeing Square Enix’s track record with the PSN store, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a long, long time before they do come out.

@gettinmoney662

It should be noted Square Enix’s “track record” that you speak of is only really true in the US. In Japan they’ve got a ton of highly sought after games up, including FF8 and Xenogears (which I would kill for). In fact the JP store has about 4 times the number of psONE games (although the number of PSP games is about the same). Regardless, more PSP games at proper pricing and more psONE games please. Thanks!

I mean, I don’t expect there to be some released every single week, but I was pretty sure you were holding off on releasing Resident Evil 2 so it would come out around Halloween.

Would’ve guaranteed an impulse buy from me, even if I still haven’t gotten around to playing the original. Oh well..

Hey Grace,

Good job with the PS store but just one thing I would like answered…why can’t the PS store be updated at an earlier or consistent time on Thursdays? I mean, you guys did a midnight release for content on the store when the PSP GO came out. That would seem like the best time to release content so this way we have the content first thing in the morning.

@74, Considering this is the US blog and refers to the US store, I don’t really care what they do in Japan.
