Either that or remove the stupid store icon from the video section my PS3. No point in wasting space on my XMB when I can't friggin' use the thing.

Grace...

I have been asking you this for over a year...off and on...for once time it was weekly for 4 mos straight.

Since you will not comment on a fix to the DRM situation perhaps you could do some CUSTOMER SERVICE and actually write a blog post about what you can and cannot do with Video content.

As seen in this thread...many people think the backup function will rescue you from a borked machine. It emphatically does not yet the perception is out there.

Please do your customers, who continue to support you and your company, the favour of CLEARY stating what some of us are painfully aware of.

: If you buy video content and your system goes in for repairs you will lose your video content and the SONY Terms of Service state that SONY is under absolutely no obligation to assist recovering what may be hundreds of dollars worth of content. The backup function does not help this situation one iota :

Grace,

Any word when the 24fps judder issue will be fixed? This has been narrowed to the PS3's video player, and some acknowledgment that the issue has been reproduced internally would be nice.

To re-state the problem: downloaded and streaming videos encoded at 24fps are forced into 30fps playback by the PS3's video player, resulting in a video artifact known as judder. (Automatic 3:2 detection is somehow circumvented on TVs that support it, as well.) Multiple people have reported this, and all of us can view 24fps Blu-ray titles without the judder motion artifact. This affects SD and HD content on both the PSN Video Store and Netflix.

Please, please acknowledge this issue and provide estimations/recommendations for a workaround or fix.

Thanks!
