As you’ve already heard from Eric Lempel, the latest PSP firmware update v6.20 added the Digital Comics Reader to the XMB on the PSP. The PlayStation Network comic service on PlayStation Store will be coming in December (U.S. Only). In the meantime, you can get your hands on a free issue of Star Trek: Year Four – The Enterprise Experiment from our partners at IDW Publishing. Once you download the free Digital Reader, visit PlayStation Store on the PSP and enter the following promotion code:
724K-A4BG-JLD7
This code is only valid until December 16, 2009. The code must be redeemed directly on the PSP (not through PS3 or Media Go).
You should also check out www.playstationcomics.com for more information and to find a code for another free digital comic. (Hint: For those of you following PlayStation on Twitter, you might want to check there, too.)

Yep… so I tried to boot into the Comic viewer thing with the newest psp update… and it tells me to select my country… being in Canada… Im left out again it seems? Canada wasn’t listed and when I clicked the “my country isnt listed” i was greeted with “its not available in your country”…. arg. Can I just select US and have it work?

@49 if you want to try to download it again you have to go to your transaction management from the XMB of the PSP and look at your download list from there NOT the PSN store and you should see the download and you can try again.

Maybe the reason why the error code keeps on popping up on you guys is because you might have cookies and/or caches turned off because at first mine didnt work but then i did that and it worked

Any word on the date that the comic store will actually launch? I’m assuming it will be Dec. 17th, as the free comic offer expires the 16th.
