@55. Yes, as a single player game it's good. But if you bought it as a multiplayer game, it isn't.

* 35 Single-player levels, including hidden and boss levels - Hooray!
* 12 Multiplayer levels - Only four for each mode
* 3 Multiplayer modes - not very exciting and not explained before sale
* Different player ships - Nicely balanced
* Special weapons - Not in multiplayer
* Weapon power-ups - Not in multiplayer
* 20 devious Trophies - None multiplayer
* Leaderboards - Not in multiplayer
* Over 200 editor items - Not in multiplayer

If you ordered what sounded like a minibus for carrying lots of passengers, and instead they delivered a 2 seater sports coupe, is the correct response, "oh well, I can't get the orphans to the seaside anymore, but at least I have a funky sports car for me," or, "Excuse me. This isn't what I wanted to buy. Can you please fix this"?

{continued from 55}

Personally, I would like to see multiplayer matches over PSN, although, I'm glad that they provided a local multiplayer mode, since one of the best parts of gaming back in the days was getting together in the same room to play.

Still, it would be nice to have the whole screen to work with in a multiplayer match, and also some of my PSN buddies are in other cities. I was encouraging them to get this game, but now I have to go back and give them the bad news about online multiplay and instead promote the single and local multiplay only. Still a great DLC game and priced right.

@54: Oh puhleeze. You can't call this game a ripoff at $9.99, for what you do get. Maybe if you ask nicely, they'll add in the functionality, but until then, I guess you'll just have to make do with:

    * 35 Single-player levels, including hidden and boss levels
    * 12 Multiplayer levels
    * 3 Multiplayer modes
    * Different player ships
    * Special weapons
    * Weapon power-ups
    * 20 devious Trophies
    * Leaderboards
    * Over 200 editor items

It's a rough life, I know. Sure, they could improve upon it, but come on, $9.99 is priced right. It's not like they just slapped this together. It's a pretty tight package of retro-style gaming.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND RIPOFF!!!

Why did no-one say custom maps aren't avaiable in multiplayer games? Instead we have a few dull races and death matches with nothing in them. Seriously, HOME games have more to them than Gravity Crash's maps. No boosts, no powerups, no traps, no environmental hazards, no external forces. All possible in the editor, but not in the multiplayer game.

I don't understand how a developer can clearly want to create a high-class game, refine the single player so nicely, and then chuck in a trashy multiplayer tickbox feature. It's embarassing. If the game had been sold honestly (user created levels only available in single player. Mutliplayer levels do not have any of the single player features like hazards and powerups) I wouldn't have wasted my money.
