Generally a pretty good update: LBP PSP and Gravity Crash look like must buys.
That being said, the $5 LBP skin is hitting an all new low. You’ve already pulled the “pre-order exclusive” stuff with LBP, and insinuated that this was an exclusive … no one has any reason to believe this time is any different. Regardless, I’m not purchasing just skins.
Also, the Afrika charge is a little smarmy, considering Japan gets it free. The UK store has two free Dynamic themes at the moment to test out this newer feature … how about the NA store?
@KSPRAYDAD you’re jaded with good reason. Generally, I think the PSN pricing is fair and on the mark, but they seem to like throwing in the questionable pricepoint every so often just make sure we haven’t fallen asleep at the Dualshock3 :)

Where is Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (PSP)? It released on UMD in early November, but it’s not on PSN yet for PSPgo owners! No one from Sony has commented on the fact that this huge soccer game isn’t available for PSPgo owners. What can you tell us about when it will come to PSN?
Any explanation as to why LBP PSP is one week late? Probably not. We’re just supposed to bend over right.

Update is pretty good overall. LBP PSP is a nice touch, but at least we’re starting to see some of the minis that they released in the UK.

I’m having troubles finding Eye of Indra 2 on the Canadian PS store. Am I blind and just need to search more? Or is it going to be like the first one and just come out a week later? Orr is the Canadian store not getting it at all? I’m not whining here, just genuinely curious.
Awesome update. I’ll be buying a few of the games on sale. And I strongly recommend everyone pick up Fighting Force if they haven’t already played it. It was one of the funnest beat em ups I’ve played…Right up there with Streets of Rage, Turtles in Time and Die Hard Arcade.
Oh…and moar ps1 RPGs plz kthnx. If you guys release Tales of Destiny, I will die a happy man.

@68 LBP PSP was released 1 week late because Media Molecule ran into an unexpected bug in the game that made it unplayable on the PSPgo. If you read the news that Sony posts and the articles that are on the internet, you’d know of such details. Still getting it a week later than retail release with a patch that allows you to play it on the PSPgo shows how much MM wants to give the best products to all consumers, not some half-baked product that doesn’t work.
SO in other words this is a fail update.
Nice fail Sony.
Perhaps you wouldn’t have to accomodate holidays if you updated on Tuesday regularly…

I appreciate the idea of more PSone classics, but you need to make sure you bring some more of the really timeless stuff. Most of what you’re bringing lately is the very opposite of timeless. Of course, you’ve had some greats in there, like last week with Resident Evil 2 and Soul Reaver, with Pandemonium just before that, and even Dino Crisis this week. I still have my copy of Dino Crisis but lost my copy of DC2. I’d buy that in a second if that ever gets released. I loved that game. Hint, hint, Capcom.
I think I’m going to grab Last Guy. Too bad Fat Princess isn’t up there. Sony should run more sales for add-on content. I’d jump on the MotorStorm PR expansions and the LBP Metal Gear pack if they were half price. And if I wasn’t obsessed with Modern Warfare 2 at the moment, I’d buy the KZ2 map packs too.
And what’s the deal with Call of Duty Classic? Is there a release date for that yet?
Also, I know Gran Turismo 1 is so old but I’d rather have the PS1 version on my PSP than the PSP version :)
