I recently rented The Bourne Supremacy in HD. On the Store it says 5.1 Ch, like many other HD movies, yet mine did not play in 5.1 Ch.. My DVDs, Blu Rays and Games play in 5.1 Ch. when applicable. I even spoke to Customer Support, unfortunately they couldnt help me. I was even told on one occassion that none of the movies output in 5.1 Ch.. Whats up with that?
It’s nice to see The Best Years and Degrassi only thing missing out of the lineup is The Assisstants S1 and TeenNick is complete, also when will we see classic cartoons on their or a Boomerang section because I miss the Jetsons, Flintstones, and other Hannah Barbera cartoons

As a Canadian am I supposed to take offense by all this usa nonsense? I don’t even know why other Canadians are complaining that we don’t get the videostore, as if any of you would even buy from it. PSPGo is a different story, but for movies, I’m sure most of us would prefer the physical copy.
Furthermore, we don’t get restricted with the copyright ban hammer every time we try to download a backup/better compressed version of one of our purchased DVD/Blurays. HMV has all of the above. Sure, God bless the USA but Canadians have nothing to complain about. In my honest opinion we get the better end of the stick.

When will the Videostore be available in Canada? It sucks not being able to download the movies or shows directly. It is currently a 2 or 3 step process.
@LumarQQ you are correct about the stupid DRM stuff that happens in the US, but for convenience, I like the download option. I don’t have to go out to get it, and if I really like it, sure, i’ll buy it later. Having it available on the HDD is a great deal easier.

but anyways i like the update but the thing with playing games and being in a text chat is that for me and other ppl, if your in a game, you dont really have time to go on there and type something to someone. especially if your in a online game like modern warfare.
but what i’d ABSOLUTLY LOVE to see is being able to be in a voice chat while in a game…. i dont know exactly how you could do that but i mean xbox 360 has it and ps3 is newer and more advanced than the 360 so we should definately have voice chat in games since our systems just newer in every aspect.
just what i think, i doubt this will happen for a long time though

I really like the ability to purchase and download movies and tv shows to my PS3, but why aren’t we allowed to redownload the file if the file is deleted or, in the more common case for me lately, when the file is corrupt? I’ve constantly had to pay for items multiple times in order to get a working video file and it is getting quite frustrating and very costly.
