WOW! This has to be the worst update ever…kinda reminds me of the first few updates the PSN had. A demo, 2 DLC plus your normal RB/GH crap, and a few videos. LAME!

To all the people complaining about the update: As much as i hate you for complaining for the free service, this update truly was the worst one we’ve seen since 2.40 so i completely agree with you. The fact that i didn’t go rent anything because i figured i’d just grab whatever new PSN games there are today annoys me beyond belief.
And to all the people saying this update was fine: No, it wasn’t. It would have been fine if they’d tell us a few hours, days, or even weeks before the updates arrive – but if you’re gonna ‘surprise’ us every week at least make them good.
Thanks for the update, i like the Lunar demo for psp, Star Ocean 4 video and White Knight video… i’ll probably get Magic Ball as well, seems like a good game

Come on guys what is up with these small crappy updates lately?
A few DLC and videos doesn’t cut it. I don’t even count the psp stuff as part of the update as it doesn’t even pertain to the ps3 at all.

Last week’s update was at 2 PM (PST). This week’s update was after 5 PM (PST). Why is there still not a consistent PSN update time on Thursdays? We don’t care what the time is…we just would like it to be the same time every week. That makes it a lot easier for your customers.

See? You were all whining last week that the update was no good, and so they felt OBLIGATED to show you what a bad update REALLY looks like. Good one, Sony. Hopefully, they’ve learned their lesson. You can put up the actual update now.

Hey where are the PsOne games? The good PSP games? Only thing good I see this week is the Lunar PSP demo.

Seriously are you people that desperate to spend your money? I don’t have enough time to enjoy the titles that do come out. They certainly hold my attention more than a week at time.
So… Are you done supporting the PSP Go with compelling new content? You would think that Sony would be consistently adding digital PSP game downloads to the PSN in order to entice new people to buy a Go and to help the people who already own one not feel like such idiots for buying one. There is still a vast library of great UMD games that I can’t play on my PSP Go. Once again, I feel my PSP Go purchase might have been a mistake…
The Magic Ball/Orbz DLC sounds cool, I will probably at least pick that up.

SOOOO hyped up about the Magic Ba….Orbs expansion. To anyone who doesn’t have the game, if you like brick-breakers this is the best one of all time. Take advantage of the bundle. The online play is great, it has custom soundtracks too.
I’m please to see the UNO demo. I used to love this game before I traded in my 360. But I havn’t bought it because I heard it doesn’t have custom sountracks. Hopefully the devs put out a custom sounds update. If they do, I’ll buy it that second.
And I just bought GTPSP for my PSP Go too, So this free car bundle is sweet to…..”GO”…… (pun intended) along with that.
The only two PSP games I’d like you guys to get up on the Store are Final Fantasy 1 and Mega Man Powered Up. Other than those 2 and maybe Crisis Core, every PSP game I could want is available on the store. LOVING MY GO!!!
Oh, and try to get EA to lower the price on Tetris, I want it, but I’m not paying $7 for Tetris.

To everyone not understanding why we (the majority) are complaining about the update:
Hudson has TG16 games ready to release, but no they must wait for a ‘slow week’…
Look at the EU store’s Mini’s selection, not for us in the USA apparently…
Remember all those PS1 games? Yeah, not for us and/or they need to wait for a ‘slow week’…
PSPGo owners? I feel your pain… ( I stopped buying PSP games period because of the distribution model)
PSN games? Go look at the games that are out in Europe and Asia, yeah, the ones that aren’t ‘good enough’ to come stateside (they’re in English already too). They must be waiting for a ‘slow week’…

I am going to get a PSP Go and I agree that the amount of support for the product IS dumbfounding! There is still a plethora of PSP games that have yet to be released on the Playstation Store. I mean Luxor?! I am dissapointed. What about Naruto, Worms Open Warfare 2? Lets go here

Yeah im usually pretty positive when i post on blog, but i have to say this update reminds me of early 2007, magic ball tho is sweet!!!!!!
Hustle Kings news: in the PSN forums, the developers have stated the North American release is set for Jan 28th, two weeks from now. At that point Europe will have had it 5 weeks earlier than us.
They’re blaming it on SCEA taking forever to “test” it, even though it was tested and released for the Euro-peons (our version will be the same release).

hmm… i really dont want to sound like all these other whiners but i bought LittleBigPlanet psp on November 17 of last year and have had a blast with it. But that was at least 3 or 4 months ago and I am very suprised that we have not had any DLC or ANY word of some coming out. So next week I am not looking forward to the Playstation Store update.
This update is rightfully being criticized. Did you all honestly think this update would even pass for average in the quality department? I know not all updates can be AMAZING but releasing this makes consumers wonder if you have a plan. Also, I don’t even own a PSPGO and I can tell you that your consumers for that product are increasingly dissatisfied. YOU hyped it up, now please BACK IT UP.

I’m fine with a thin update – hey, it happens- what irritates me though, is bumping old content when new content isn’t available. Qore and Pulse were both released already, as did the content in the Metal Gear Solid collection. It bugs me that these things get moved to the top when there’s nothing to fill up space, just post what you have and leave it at that. Anyone who wanted Qore or Pulse would likely have it by now and those who don’t can scroll half a page to get it. So putting them on top of actual new content is a bit silly. That said, I hope the Dragon Age DLC comes soon and I must ask – if this is all that was new this week, why did you wait so long to post it?

This update is sorely lacking. You guys licensed thousands of PSOne games from 1994-2000. Where are those?

What worries me is we haven’t seen any PSOne Classics in a while.
I remember back during E3 09 Sony conference, when Final Fantasy VII was announced as coming to PSN, they also mentioned that they had 50 PSOne games in the pipeline.
Well, at last count that’s pretty much what we got so far. So I wonder, are there any good ones on the way or are they pretty much done with them? Would be a shame if they stopped now. They’ve released a few great ones, but the PS1 library is still full of titles just begging to be available on the store.
Would be nice to have an official answer on this.
