As many of you living on the West Coast of the United States know, it has been raining extremely hard during the last week. We, here, in the marketing team at SCEA wanted to let you know that this is merely a coincidence and that there is no connection to the upcoming release of the interactive psychological thriller, Heavy Rain, exclusively for PlayStation 3. While we did originally have two weeks of downpour planned as part of an ARG (alternate reality game) or viral marketing campaign for the release of Heavy Rain, we were prevented from doing so due to liability and logistical reasons (Legal teams hate it when you screw with the weather).
However, you can experience “Four Days”: The Heavy Rain Online Experience, a live online mystery that plays out in real time across three weeks, drawing you into the mystery and lore of the Heavy Rain universe. Between Tuesday and Friday every week there will be daily tasks for you to complete (leaving you the weekend to catch up if you fall behind). Each task will lead you to the next part of the journey. At certain key stages you will be prompted, while on other occasions you will need to deduce the right thing to do. You will receive an instructional email at the beginning of each of the three weekly events, and you can always turn to the Facebook Fan Page for help and discussion.

There you will find more information about “Four Days”: The Heavy Rain Online Experience and can register to get started. Once you’ve registered, you will receive an e-mail that will set you on a journey into the mind of a possible serial killer, giving you a sneak peek into the mystery and story of Heavy Rain. The rain is already falling – start looking there for answers…
Along the way, you may well discover some cool exclusive content. Enjoy the experience as it will challenge you and prepare you for the true mystery to come – the experience of playing Heavy Rain itself!

It was “Maggie” in the The “Study” with a “Candle Holder”… she did becuz she now Donald had wrote her out the will and left everything to the “kid”… but in stead of killing the kid ( who died as a result of another serial killing) She hid him a way in the cabin on the hill… “Alex” knew something was a rye, but didn’t have anyway to prove it.. she knew he knew.. so she dropped the radio in his bath.. felling she was scot-free she let “Daniel” in on her scheme…She figured she’d need at least another set of dirty had to fully get off… (wait a minute… that sounds kinda dirty) but “Danny” had a plan of his own to get into the will… so he tried to flip it on her to take her plan and once she got the loot he’d get rid of her… Danny is still out there.. but it’s you babe… u see.. it’s you babe that i’m after… all ya gotta do is give it up… and we can live with out this nonsense.. can’t ya see.. I love ya..

I myself am in a massive heavy rain blackout and I was looking forward to this little vent since it has nothing to do with the game UNTIL I go to the facebook page and see all the spoiler crap everywhere. So you get an A for the idea but Ill be waiting until the release for anything Heavy Rain
Just went through the first day and I must say this was a good interactive mystery to start off the hype for Heavy Rain. Awesome campaign
yessssssssssss. damn i’ve been waiting for this game like forever. im pumped jus thinking of it and its a bonus that it releases the day after my birthday. soo sweet. registered for the online experience like a week or two ago. the only wack part is the collection edition isnt being released in the States. disappointing because i got my God of War3 Ultimate edition preordered; its $100. so i would gladly spend some extra dough on heavy rain’ CE. come to think of it, im as excited for heavy rain as im gow3 . . . maybe a lil more.
Nice joke guys. The link in the email after signing up (http://www.heavyrainps3.com/rainisfalling) just opens a site with a flash applet that fills the whole screen with black nothingness. Clicking around does nothing, great fun this is…..a black page. Is this just a ploy to get our email addresses?

i got through the sign up recieved the email i am on the page with the anagram but it wont let me move the letters can anyone help
i am wondering if US can even play the challenge this is the second day i’ve been trying
