psp go isn’t dead, just in dire need of a price drop. put more ps1 games on the psn store, DO IT. DO IT NOW. YOUR CONSUMERS ARE TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO IN ORDER TO GET THEIR MONEY. I AM OFFERING YOU MY MONEY IF YOU DO WHAT IS SAY. NO MORE D LIST PS1 GAMES.

@ 16
There’s rumor that they doing a relaunch of the PSPgo, but with a price cut.

+ favian on February 2nd, 2010 at 7:06 pm said:

@ 17. yeah i heard that, i’m looking forward to getting a go if they do everything right. Lower price points for games i can never resell is one of the key drawing points. i’d love a portable version of Metal Gear: VR Missions, not on the store.. How about Suikoden (1 &2), Megaman Legends 1,2,3. Ugh.

Thanks for the update on this Mark :)

Man this game has been long in the waiting for me. I don’t really care about the haters. I just want to see the difference in the gameplay from the previous psp games and of course, the story line.

Dang I’m stoked there’ll be a demo. Haha Can’t wait!

#16:

The PSP Go was dead on arrival. Sure, it’s a great little device, but the fatal flaw with the GO is the “download-only” limitation.

#1 – you’re completely dependent on the PSN Store…which Sony rarely updates with anything worth purchasing. The GO could have been awesome, but not with Sony behind the wheel. They have a history of terrible PSN updates, something that isn’t going to change anytime soon.

#2 – you can only get new games if you have an internet connection. If you’re on vacation, or even out at the mall, and you see a nice game in the store that you’d like to buy…well…you’re screwed. There’s a good chance that the game isn’t in the PSN store. And besides, you have to find a wi-fi spot in order to download it anyway.

When you release a new product, you need to make it BETTER than the preceeding product, not worse.

And Sony has failed to do this with the GO.

I have loved socom from the first release & is the main reason I paid $600 for a PS3. Confrontation was a BIG let down & there have been rumors around the web about Socom 4 in development & that Zipper is back in control not Slant6. If you guys were to search the web & look at how many or your fans love & want a good Socom (mirrored off Socom 2) it may overwhelm you. Socom 2 was by far the best one you guys created the single & multi player, believe it or not but you guys pioneered how online FPS are played today. If you could please make Socom 4 like Socom 2, same game play, tighter controls & better graphics I can guarantee you my salary that you will have a fan base that far exceeds any Call of Duty or Halo game out there. Sony makes all the decisions about Socom since they brought Zipper a few years ago. Sony give Zipper the freedom it needs to make Socom the way it should be & be more active when it comes to the Socom community.

Sincerely,
