  • Lame update (especially Qore’s lame issue). Also, why don’t we have any more avatars? Do you only release avatars once a month (and only avtars for 1 game once a month?!)?

  • Thanks Grace.

One question: in the latest issue of Pulse Christina says that in addition to the Sony make.believe videos in the store there would be a free dynamic theme. I don’t see it anywhere, any idea where it is?

  • I was hoping for the Burnout Paradise DLC price drops mentioned by Criterion would begin this week. Maybe next week…

    @RoecraticA
Yes I to am awaiting echochrono/shift! Gamefaqs says it will be out in Europe on the 26th, so perhaps we’ll receive it in the next week or two?

  • Oh, why must you taunt me with temporary sales when I’m saving up for that Gunbird remake and echochrono (or whatever it’s called now), not to mention a Qore subscription renewal!

    Time to download Pulse…

  • I see EU got episode 2 for Topatoi today but unfortunately not NA :( Any idea when we’ll be seeing that? Been looking forward to the next episode since the first one.

  • PSN Store really needs to re-release more PSOne classics, for the sake of the PSP owners. I’d wager that if the download service were better for PSP’s the Go might sell better.

Also it’s a crime to have hardware like PSP and not have an official way to play great games like Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Suikoden II.

I mean seriously, why not have Suikoden II? It is lauded as one of the best JRPGs ever and yet there is currently no reliable and affordable official way to obtain and play it. My PS2 and PSX still play the PSOne discs, but I can’t get that game unless I shell out over $100 on ebay, and plus the developers see $0 of that.

I like the PSN Store overall, so don’t take this negative. It just needs more games!

Also other comics might be nice. I’m a big fan of Image and TopCow’s stuff. I like what yall have done with the comic store and reader thus far, I just haven’t seen any content I’m highly compelled to buy.

    Cheers

  • Very good update…not the optimal one…but things are starting to improve. PSP games are back on sale, lot’s of demos and content… A PS3 donwloadable game… yeah yeah…things are improving.
On the other hand… no PSone Classics this week… so for the classic and cliché request… please Grace…bring us Vagrant Story and you have my money.

  • The PSP Go Tax is charging $40 for downloadable PSP Games Grace.

  • If you release the PS1 classic Blast Chamber for the PS3, I’d pay for it 3 times. Just ‘cuz. That game *needs* to be re-released…

  • will pick up Half Minute Hero. Nice that you are offering deals on PSP games this week, but the meager weekly trickle of new PSP games is still making me feel dumb for trading in my 3000 for the Go.

  • good update still need ps3 to pay some money so that the dlc for mw2 will release on the same time for both xbox and ps3 if u guys wanna do a donation like one dollar that will be awesome

  • Nice update! Plenty of demos.

Is it possible we can see some add-on content sales in the future? I’d buy all the add-ons for Fallout 3, Killzone 2, MotorStorm PR, Burnout Paradise, and other games if I could get them for half price.

  • Thanks for a quick PS Store update. Keep it up, Grace! :)

  • The February 2010 Qore episode has now appeared in my download list – but the future ones I am entitled to are still missing. I’m guessing someone at Sony changed something…

  • Not bad on the demos

Id like to see more better Playstation 1 games. Quite alot of the ones we have in the Store are PS1 games I’ve never heard of.

Put in like Crash Team Racing, Megaman, Crash Bash, etc. Those were some good classics :)

  • For the people mentioning Return to Ostagar for Dragon Age, BioWare said 5 days ago that it was sent to Sony certification. They’re just taking forever with it. But on the bright side, one Sony certification gives BioWare the green light, we don’t have to wait for the PSN store to update on Thursday to get it. It will go up on the in-game store regardless of the day.

    @75
The dev clearly told all of us that that DLC could only be used once, why are acting surprized about it now? Besides, you are a sucker for buying that rip-off DLC anyway. You paid $5 to change how your character looks the day after the game comes out? WOW You could have just started a new game for free.

To the person telling Sony to petition Square for PS1 games….are you high? You don’t think Square knows? You think they don’t notice the sales of FF7&8? Square will release PS1 and PSP games in their own time when they feel they’ve milked what they have on the store currently enough. Square, nor other 3rd parties let Sony tell them what to release, where or when.

  • going on two months of lack luster psp updates, even the sales this week are almost insulting. thanks for atleast trying. hopefully the rumored relaunch of the psp is true, then we might get some quality games, or atleast more than one or two so-so games a week

  • How does Qore NOT have a God Of War feature?!?! The damn game comes out next month……Useless. :(

  • @2 You weren’t first

    It was an Okay Update

  • aahh. i was kind of expecting the savanahh pack for lbp psp.

  • Lot’s of demos, great update this week.

  • Good update for me….

Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce!!! I pre-ordered it so this will tide me over till then.

    Thank you

  • Star Trek Dynamic Theme ?

How many times do u guys upload the same thing

We already had this up wtf?

  • Hey, I’m sure you guys have a set order you’re doing the PSOne Classics in, but I have been really craving the game Tomba! There’s a huge outcry for it in the forums and even a facebook group devoted to getting it as a PSN DL. Any way we can get that on an update coming up?

  • I have a question on pulse they said that they were giving away a free dynamic theme where is that?

  • seriously crash team racing needs to make it to the store already, Europe has had it for the past 2 years.

  • OMG SONY FTW again yall never seem to not impress me i love you guys thanks for the Battlefield bad company 2 beta. :)

  • Not bad, but the White Knight Chronicle DLC is total crap–don’t mean to be harsh but there is no excuse for that—but otherwise good update and WKC, other than this DLC, is a great game!

  • @Tairion

AAhhhhh!!! yes Tomba 1 and 2, that was a great series perfect for psp

  • cool update downloading all 3 demos now hoping for some wkc avatars

  • Good update /w demos. But where is the EU Dante’s Inferno “souls” update at? next thursday for US?

  • How you get that kratos dynamic theme NV_L

  • YES EPic win afterburner… A decent price it as well. Cracie chen working his/her magic this month… Good work..

Im out like two broke legs,, see you fools inthe skies….

    mcbuttz78

  • Where are the DD versions of past UMD titles for PSPGo? There are way too many great games still not available. This should be a priority.

  • A Sexy Valentine PSP Theme will be my only buy this week, but at least there are a couple of PSP games. The sale isn’t bad either. It’s progress. Not the 0/5’s that the New Year has given us so far. This is a solid 1.5-2!

  • Seems there’s never any free ps3 themes anymore. What happen?

  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Demo YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice sales, and good to see the permanent price drops. I wish there was more content, but not a bad week.

  • I second what #125 has to say…

  • Hi Grace! Will we ever see the Demon’s Souls premium theme and avatars? Please, please, please…

  • Hi Grace,

Thanks again for the Gravity Crash sale, I bought it and it’s great!
Speaking of Gravity Crash, were you able to look into the Gravity Crash wallpapers problem? I kept trying to download the “sun” wallpaper and kept getting the “space” wallpaper.

Also couldn’t we have got the PixelJunk Shooter demo that Europe got this week? I’d really like to try before I buy.

Speaking of buying, any word on funding our PSN wallets with PayPal/PayPal with credit card yet? It would be really helpful.

Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

  • Considering the crap we’ve been receiving over the last few updates, this is a vast improvement. No complaints here.

  • Pretty decent update… Looking forward to trying AvP. But what I’d REALLY like to know is… WHEN ARE WE GETTING MODNATION RACERS DEMO IN THE US???

  • nice amount of demos….makes up for last week. not to be picky, but it was announced that a fire team bravo 3 psp demo was supposed to be up

  • @leonhart9876 (#31), we already have FFVIII, not sure about Vagrant Story. Unless you’re a Canadian customer, in which case I don’t know and wonder why you’re posting on this US entry…

  • Anyone know if the Dynasty Warriors strikeforce demo has online play as well?

  • I would have to say way too many complain about the updates, really is not a big deal if not every single update has something magical.

  • Much better update than all of last months, I’m just hoping for more stuff for my PSP.

The recent games coming out haven’t made me want to buy anything for it and I wish the PSOne classics collection would get better.

Alot of the games labeled as classics are forgettable games.

  • I just threw my PSP Go in the trash – I don’t need it since Sony isn’t supporting it with any games.

  • not much for psp…
