  • Makeover ticket for WKC? that’s a complete rip-off.

  • I LOVE that we are constantly seeing price drops- it puts to bed the idea that prices will remain static because of a lack of competition from retailers/used games.

  • Hey maybe I missed it or it’s not officially Sony doing it? But where is the video for the Multiplayer aspects or Bioshock 2? Yesterday they had a good in depth video on the Single Player stuff and today there’s supposed to be one on the Multiplayer stuff, but I can’t find it..

  • Why didn’t you guys include the “Gran Turismo made him a Pro” video in the make.believe section?

  • PS3 update looks very promising indeed, but I must agree with my fellow gamers regarding the PSP updates. Most of us are STILL waiting on this huge PSP river of games that was promised when the PSPGo launched. I was a late comer to the handheld scene with PSP, hence I went with the Go to limit cartridges I would carry. But yes, hard to believe we only truly received two games, when so many are still in ‘backlog’ for digital distribution!

Is it conceited that my only true desire is for Crisis Core to finally hit the download shelves? It’s at least nice to know that somebody from PSN (Grace) is responding in some way. Wouldn’t mind a little love and good word on my part towards our good friends at SquareEnix for some Crisis Core!

  • No Ps1 classics? wtf… are you guys gonna quit doing them? that’d be bad for business!! , please some rpgs! come on!!! everyone wants them, do you even read ur comments?

  • Ummmm yeah would like to leave a real comment but I’ll save that for a real update. I own a psp. U should know y I’m disappointed fix it.

  • Where are the new avatars?

  • Question when did sony start making up dbz characters? super saiyan 3 broly? missprint super saiyan 3 goku okay lol other than that great update

  • Damn, and I was hoping that the Return to Ostagar DLC for Dragone Age would be released… That’s what I get for getting my hopes up.

  • PixelJunk Shooter demo in HK and JP store.

  • Can you put Yu-Gi-Oh Tag force 4 on the PlayStation Store, otherwise, my PSP GO won’t be able to play it.

Also, can you do the best you can to get Birth by Sleep in the store when it releases. I noticed the Japanese PlayStation Store does not contain Birth by Sleep and I would be very dissapointed if I couldn’t play Birth by Sleep on a PSP GO

  • Bleh. Pulse, maybe. That’s it.

Thank God Hustle Kings finally shipped last week; it’s fantastic and will keep us occupied for quite some time.

  • When are we getting new info on God of War III?

Preferably about Midnight Launch Locations annd

    PS3 Limited Edition.

    :)

    Thank you.

  • lol i just got it ss3 broly is raging blast easter egg like the fused (yancha and tein) and (hercule and goku) is to the past games lol never underestimate sony unless it is really a misslable?

  • “Thanks. That’s a good start.”

I feel ya Grace. Having to take all the negative comments every week. People acting like its easy to get stuff up. You’re doing a good job!

  • I still think this is a crappy update and there is nothing of worth for me to buy however, Grace actually saved my mood by acknowledging someone making a request for certain PSP and PS1 games. I honestly thought that everyone from Sony just ignored our requests. And to all the people who slam the others for making PS1 requests, it’s obvious by the number of requests for PS1 games (mainly old rpg’s) that there is money to be made by bringing these games back for digital downloading so for Sony to not do it would just be bad marketing.

  • I gotta say in a week before the explosion of Dante’s Inferno Divine Edition and Bioshock 2, this is quite the excitement.

I’m still lost on all these PSOne lack of downloads complaints. Seriously, you want to play PSOne games? Did you get RID of all your PSOnes game that you used to own? You call yourself a gamer??!? It’s the most ridiculous complaint ever. I’m assuming for 1 its not that easy for them to turn a disc loaded game from 10-15 years ago into a downloadable. Think of how many movies on DVD are still not on Bluray. Hell think of all the movies that came out on VHS and never hit DVD even. Same damn thing. Call yourself gamers… real gamers still even have a working PSOne system.

  • Nice update…thx

  • Great update this week. I did notice that you can no longer buy the exact amount of the item in the PSN store. I have change in the wallet.

If I have change can u put some PS1 games so I can buy. Vagrant Story,Einhander,Crash Team Racing,Colony Wars. Thanks

  • Hi grace:

Hope to see return to ostagar soon for dragon age.. us PS3 players are left out in the cold… while the xbox and pc people have already enjoyed the dlc.. and finished it.

  • Also, for PS3 owners this is one sweet update.

New Quore, new Pulse, new PSN game, Sony special profile videos (these are pretty cool, just like the Virgin Free fest videos ruled). And Add-Ons too. Not add-ons you want? That doesn’t count. They’re there.

Enough with the negativity, how about some appreciation.

A great singer said once “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with” and it’s oh so true.

  • @169,who care’s about ps1 classics, just buy the actually cd in a store,it’s better that way anyways. I rather get other content that there isn’t alternatives to get it.

  • Afterburner: Black Falcon is terribly glitched. Constant stalls to load mid-stage, the music continually drops out, and the first level won’t even end…the ground graphics simply disappear and leave the plane hanging in midair forever.

Good lord, doesn’t anyone bother to test these games?

Sony, you really need to step up and start optimizing these titles for digital release. This is getting ridiculous…virtually every week another buggy mess of a PSP game is released onto the PSN.

Please fix Afterburner. Or get Sega to fix it. And please, for the love of God don’t make us wait over a month for it to happen a la Silent Hill: Origins.

Teenage pirates working out of their bedrooms manage to create error-free ISOs of PSP games…why can’t you, Sony?

  • Good update, yet I’m still waiting for a price drop or sale for some of the more popular PSP games (ex: Soul Caliber; Broken Destiny and LittleBigPlanet).

Will we ever get to see the start of remade PS2 games for download, or is the state of the PS2 still so strong that there would be no need for it yet?

  • Please more Avatars, the LBP ones are great, now we need like a hundred more all from different IPs gaming related or not.

  • Please drop TRINE to a cheaper price it is ridiculous that it was on sale in Germany for E-$7.99 now what about America?…We are paying to much for DLC Sony drop your sky high prices $10.00-$39.99 ouch! to a more reasonable deal $5.99-$7.99..Otherwise your ripping us off I hate it when you don’t listen to what we want damn it jezz!..Not a bad Update to the store but drop your prices to suit us all Sony! Cheers!

  • When are you charging to use the PSN?.God I hope this gets rid kids from hacking the PSN when it finally launches hopeful by the Spring of this year!..But that is not a deal Sony charging for Cross Game Chat?.I would pay for In Game Music but not Cross Game Chat!..Think of a better deal for the monthly price..$ On the 360 it is $7.99 a month and you?…$20.00 or more is a bad deal start it at $8.00-$10.00 then 1 Year Subscription $40.00 a year?..

  • I’ve been waiting for AvP to come out. I wish the demo was not multiplayer…I can’t find a match.

  • We need a better PSN charge if you have to. but not for Cross Game Chat!..I would pay definitely pay for In Game Music etc..But it would have to have a reasonable price!..Sorry I repeated this subject I made a mistake..But seriously we need a better PlayStation Network this year and soon cause the PSN is so boring!

  • Grace – how about Legend of Dragoon as a PSOne classic? That’d be awesome of you guys!

  • I want Demon’s Souls Dynamic theme damn it!

  • No Shadow of Destiny for the psp? when will we get this for download?

  • @175

Do you know how awesome it is to play PSOne classics on PSP? We need more PSOne classics, where is Dragon Quest VII?

  • Can we please get a price drop on some of the bigger games for the PSPGo like assassins creed bloodlines. There needs to be some sort of incentives to keep the Go from dying out. The European store even ran a promotion for the Go giving away a free game to anyone who had bought it or was buying it for the holidays, why doesnt the North American Store care for the Go like that?

  • The Aliens vs. Predator Demo is it going to stay on the PS Store forever just like the Lost Planet demo or is it only there tell the actual game comes out? I’m just wondering.

  • Glad to see there are some demos. I was hoping for a BioShock 2 demo. Not a bad week. There are still some games on the PSP that are not digital downloads keeping me from considering the PSPgo. Big Example is the FF games and Lumines. I don’t care they could release Lumines 3. ALso guys work with Q Entertainment to make Rez HD happen on PSN.

  • I miss crisis core. I got rid of my old psp for the Go hoping crisis core would be the first to be able to download but I was wrong. Hopefully Square Enix will start caring more for their customers in other countries other than Japan. Hopefully it will be out next week!

  • hope AVP demo is single player doesnt say online demo so im hoping. loved the original on the PC.

  • Nicely done with the store Valentine theme. Chickened out with making the main page all pink. I’m not a huge fan of pink but that didn’t turn out half bad.

  • I honestly like this update, generally speaking. Although the games playable on the PSP platform is lacking, the sales are great in my opinion.

And to the people who say they are tired of hearing complaints, keep in mind that PSP GO owners (myself included)bought a psp to support sony and/ or play games without the need for discs, which in my opinion is a GREAT idea. Sadly this idea is being dealt with fairly poorly since a majority of existing games on UMD have not made their way to the PSN. Yes its probably not easy to get them there, but if thats the case let the consumer know that you are at least trying.

  • hey i saw some one request parasite eve. Man honestly, I would pay BIG bucks for that game on my psp/ps3. Part 1 and 2. Really sell it for 49.99 and I know ill buy it. I have them both on ps1 disc but i’d rather have em port. thanks sony, I love you.

  • Why no split screen in AvP?! I swear the PS3 is made for people with no friends… I was going to buy this game but if I can’t even play with people when they come over, what’s the point.

  • Anyone playing AVP add me…

  • SUIKODEN 2!

  • Not a bad update really. Some demos, some sales…always a good combination.

I’m still glad to be rid of my pspNo however. Lack of support for it game-wise. Still no video content in Canada made it even worse. (Same for PS3 though, which I hope Sony fixes soon). But for the download only pspNo to be under supported with games and video content was to much.

PSP 3000 rocks though, the best handheld I have ever owned.

Anyways, I hope this update is a sign of Sony moving in the right direction. More content, more demos, more PSP games, more PS1 classics (FFIX, PE1, PE2, Gran Tourismo…ect) sales on games…maybe add a permanent price drop area on PSN for…I dunno…”Greatest Hits” perhaps.

  • okay. nice stuff!
I’ve got to agree to C-Murph666

And the suggestions for the website sounds intresting!

  • great update… we are getting close to the release of GOW 3 CANT WAIT

  • The BBC2 demo alone makes this update the best one of the year so far, but you guys are still chugging the fail-sauce by the gallon. At this rate my expectations are going to be so low by the middle of the year that you may be able to get me excited about a Disney release around July-ish. Get with the program, Sony.
