So earlier in the week I rushed out the first 10 minutes of a BioShock 2 interview to make sure it got up well before release, only to discover that there was some…ahem…*mixed* b-roll for the game included. Unfortunately with the game only days away from retail, the team seems to be pretty much finished creating assets, so I got clearance from 2K to capture my own PS3 footage.
To make up for my flop on Wednesday, I spent my entire Friday capturing and editing BioShock 2 single-player footage, which I included in part two of the interview…and you can see it right here. Of course, I couldn’t get any multiplayer video (the game’s not out yet and no one’s playing!), but I believe this is one of the only places you’re going to find PS3 footage pre-release. The interview covers a bunch more of your questions, focusing primarily on multiplayer specifics, once again with 2K Games’ Melissa Miller and Hogarth de la Plante. So if you’re looking for a reason to get excited about next week’s BioShock 2 release, take a gander at the video. I’m already hooked…

As for who to be the first guest… no one. First episodes are always about introducing the “staff” and talking about themselves and what the poddie is about. Then from episode 2 onwards you start with the guestage awesomeness! :)

Since you asked who we wanted to hear from in your second reply, I will third (or fourth?) the vote for David Jaffe and add Kojima to beg him for a Zone of the Enders 3 on the PS3. Also, I don’t know any specific names, but please talk to Square Enix about the possibility of a true Parasite Eve 3 for the PS3 (not the 3rd birthday release they are planning on PSP), and Tecmo on the possibility of bringing the Fatal Frame series to PS3 in any way.
And regarding post #23, please don’t include the OPM people on your podcast, Qore already has that covered since they are both owned by Future Publishing and I feel that they ruined what was once a great magazine (PSM).
Thank you very much for taking our input into your consideration. -Carlos

What would be really interesting is if you had devs talking about other games.
Like if you where to do a show on say Battlefield BC2 have a dev from DICE AND a guy from Infinity Ward or if you do FFXIII try to have someone from Square and someone from Bioware. Like a dev on the outside looking in.

Suggestions: Someone from SEGA (they are putting out several big titles such as Resonance of Fate, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and Yakuza 3 – oh and ask them about Virtua Fighter 5 R, the latest iteration on VF5 that never made it to the consoles despite the fans pleas, PS3 has no online on original VF5).
GoW3 Team (duh)
Someone from the Gran Turismo team, it would be a good opportunity since people are kinda pissed that the game was delayed.
Someone from Obsidian or Bethesda to talk about Fallout New Vegas
Capcom (because they are awesome and always have something to talk about)
