  • will be a demo for modnation racers

  • Is the Burnout DLC price drop permanent?

  • My God, would you get these updates out in the morning, already? What is your problem over there? You update so late it might as well be the next day. Just move it to Friday. You all are so stubborn, it’s ridiculous. Europe gets theirs out early, just another thing they do better than us, I guess. You all should be ashamed. Get it together.

  • Wow Dejavu? this game reminds me of Shenmue from the Sega Dream Cast days..Heavy Rain is Definitely Next Generation nice going SCEA! Now please do this more often! Probably going to buy this game..I couldn’t believe the graphics and play control not bad!.. But seriously shaking your control can get annoying after awhile if you know what I mean and some of the buttons can get confusing..=( But other then that this looks amazing! Something I bet the 360 wishes they had lol..

  • I agree it’s like Sony doesn’t exist sometimes that can get very annoying!..Its the same for there lazy Moderators there not doing there jobs correctly by taking care of the Kicked off the PSN!!…And no its not my network provider Sony!.. Jeez I hope they start charging to improve the PlayStation Network to ban hackers and cheaters!..

  • Fantastic Store Update! Truly fantastic! I now have 3 Dynamic themes (south park, WipEout HD Furey, Ratchet)

I also look forward to the new After Burner Climax PSN title! Looked sweet in the trailer!

  • Come on Rockband. MegaDeath? Could we please have some content worth buying please?

  • Nice update, the year is starting slow… but PSN updates are improving…

  • Been waiting for the burnout DLC (Big surf island in particular) to come on sale… Now I have to decide whether to spend more – but get all the DLC…

  • I am a first time PSP owner who went with the Go because I believed that Sony would actively put games up on the network for download. Sony has taken all of us Go owners, bent us sideways over a lawn chair and given it to us with a pine cone. Thanks, Sony. :)

  • Thanks for the unadvertised Trine sale. I purchased that last night. Wanted the Heavy Rain Demo but will download that tonight.

    Demos – Yes please.
    Sales – Moar!

  • Great update again! I look forward to the new AfterBurnerClimax PSN title, and I’m buying a new PSN card soon after I order some games off of Amazon…….

The Star Trek theme is my next buy on PSN right now.

  • I’m not one to spend money on themes but the Wipeout HD dynamic theme is really hot. I just had to buy it! =)

  • Trine for $9.99?! Purchased!
    Heavy Rain Demo?! Downloaded!
SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 Demo?! Downloaded!

    Great update :)

  • Thx for the update!!!!
btw when are you gonna put shadow of destiny for PSP GO? there are not too many games for psp go… please put more games!!!
and dont forget about the valkyrie profile lenneth!

  • The Socom FTB 3 demo is great! Good job Slant 6.

  • I’ll be getting Trine and the Heavy Rain Demo since I’ve got 3 other PSN games and 3 disc ones to finish.

  • What the hell another crap update, 3 weeks in a row of nothing really good except a few demos. Where are better PSone classics like Bust a Groove, and wheres Gitaroo Man for PSP.

  • suikoden 2!!!!

  • A couple of comments about dynamic themes…

First, what are the chances we’ll ever see a Demon’s Souls dynamic theme? So much potential there for a fantastic theme. I think it would sell quite well.

Second, in a future firmware update I’d like to have the ability to choose my own icons on top of a dynamic theme. There are some pretty good dynamic themes available, but the icons with them are generally very generic and boring. I think ti would be great if I could choose my own icons independently of the dynamic background the same way I can currently choose my own icons on top of the default background or any wallpaper.

    Thanks!

  • I’ve bought my psp go and 16 games in two weeks (thanx christmas cash!) because I really like dematerialized games, but I think now that it’s an error! There’s no more interesting games, no big hits, to download! There’s a lot of funny games for psp and psone Sony could sell on psn : like Crash Team Racing (much better than the psp version), Rivals Schools, Fatal Fury Wild Ambition, Bloody Roar 2, Ridge Racer, Outrun 2006, Naruto 2, Spectral Vs Generation (Euro psn has it!), Tekken 5DR (much better than the 6th)! And there are many more…
Why do Sony offer us, poor psp go players, some games that are a bit interesting or that completely suck? Why do Sony sell a ps3 and a psp 3000 freezone and don’t sell in the psn the japanese games (ex : last blade, real bout fatal fury special, we dont care about the language!)?
Sony, believe in your psp go, it’s a great machine! Don’t discard your customers!

  • Yes! Unlimited Characters and new colors for BlazBlue! When I get my PS3’s internet up and running and some more money, I’m gonna be playing the game for a long time.

  • Man i am mad, I just bought the burnout paradise ultimade for download one week ago!!!!!!

  • why do you continue to move the avatar section to the top but dont add any new premium avatars what is taking so long to make these?

  • Thanks for Heavy rain demo.I have a question about mybuzz.com. Can i download my user made quiz’z on my psp 3000 or just for ps3’s.? And how do you do it if u can?

  • Why does the WipEout HD Dynamic Theme cost money? I heard it was free in Europe. Not fair at all.

  • How long are the Burnout Paradise bundles going to stay on the store?

  • Wow a bunch of disgraceful people. All updates are “crap” for them. I never was much interested in heavy rain, but it is actually very entertaining. Very good job on the developers.

  • Great update, Heavy rain demo, and bought Burnout Paradise complete, someone borrowed my game and lost it, great deal with all dlc, alot cheaper than the other network….

  • @178

Theyre spoiled brats who want everything their way. dont wanna spend any money or want things yesterday. Sony has put together some serious content especially in exclusives and all u hear is babies crying.

  • Just downloaded and played the heavy rain demo, such a awesome game!! i want it soooo bad especially the scene with the fight, wow O.O

  • Dear Grace,
I think this was a great update i’m looking forward to the flower dynamic theme and the heavy rain demo was great. but i’m trying to find a game similar to the mario cart racing games from nintendo. my friend told me about a game called crash bandicoot racing for the ps1 but it’s not in the classics. i was wondering if it will ever show up or if you know of a game currently on the psn thats like this??

  • where can i download ps3 demos on my pc to transfer to my ps3 cos i cant connect to the internet on it cos uni doesnt allow it?!!

  • I know this might be a little late, but they forget to mention it! Just to say that FLOW is free today (February 13th) :D. Thanks Sony for another crazy game (like Rag-Doll last year) around the Holidays. Gives us single gamers something to play with on Valentines Day :D

  • If you look at the comments then you see most people love the update on the PS3 side (and it is great yay ps3!), but for all of us PSP owners out there you have to say that the updates have been pretty much crap psp wise in the past couple of weeks. Thats not wining thats just the way it is right now, and it sucks, were is the psp love?

  • week after week no matter what a ton of people cry “bad update!, get it together sony!, you suck sony!” if youre going to whine every week and post it , how about you get off your butts and go outside and do something instead.
Lots of people want XENOGEARS in the ps1 section including me obviously.
Are the people that run the store talking to Square about getting more of thier ps1 games on our PSN?

  • you are joking the wipout HD Dynamic Theme is free in the UK you are greed U.S yes i am for the U.S you guy are greed as hell itself

  • One of your better updates. I’ll be sure to check out the new WipEout HD theme. One of my favorite things about the Playstation Store is downloading PSOne classics. Lately, they’ve been somewhat dull and hardly “classic”. When you start adding your real classic Playstation One games i.e. Medievil 2, Croc, Star Wars. I guarantee you’ll see a surge in your online profits. Just look at what FFVII did for you guys. If you just focus on the little things first, such as more avatar support, and then move onto your big problems, such as cross game, or lack there of. I’m doing this because I want you guys to win this console war. Constructive criticism: Listen to the consumers.

  • When will the PSN store start using Paypal?

  • 189

    s4sutler100 | February 14th, 2010 at 8:19 am

When will the PSN store start using Paypal?

Actually it already does. Does your PAYPAL card say mastercard on it? If so then it should treat the card like a credit/debit card. I have paypal and as long as I have money in my account then I can buy. So just enter your card as a credit card with the right info and it should work, just make sure you have $1.00 on it to be verified (it doesnt take it for good, just long enough to verify you.) Good luck.

  • I downloaded Vice City Stories for my PSPgo. It seems to stutter quite a bit. The frame rate is really, really inconsistent. I googled the problem and find that it seems to be an issue with the GTA downloads. Now Liberty City and Vice Stories are two of the most popular downloads and they seem to be buggy. Does anyone here have a problem?

  • More important, does Sony have any intention of doing something about it?

  • I am not really sure if this is the place to ask this or not but have a quick question about this update. I downloaded the “Love Conquers All” content for Valkyria Chronicles on the same night it became available.

But i just noticed a short while ago that i was refunded the money i payed for this purchase and the content was deleted from my PS3’s saved data (though the data is still in my download history so i am in the process of trying to re-download them all).

But i am just wondering. Was this done for any special reason? cause i didn’t get any warning it just happened all of the sudden…

So did i screw something up somehow? or was there a problem with the content itself? And i didn’t get the chance to make use of that content because i only just bought Valkyria Chronicles the following day and am still trying to finish the main story so i wouldn’t know if there were any problems with the download content.

So yeah if you don’t mind me asking. What happened with the “Love Conquers All” content exactly?

  • WipEout HD Dynamic Theme ($2.99)

FAIL. Europe got it for… FREE.

God SCEA is so full of it. First the Afrika theme which was free in Japan, now this one.

Thank goodness we can by pass your b/s and just download them via the other stores.
