I have the 60gb PS3 I bought in 07′. It has been well kept and worked perfectly until I bought Uncharted 2 last Friday and installed the REQUIRED update. Now it won’t recognize any discs. I tried resetting to the default settings, formatted the hd and nothing helped. Why should I pay Sony $150 + shipping to fix it. I didn’t break it you did. Obviously this is not a hardware issue and seems to be a major problem – Google: PS3 won’t read discs. 2010 may not be so great. Is Sony really going to wait for another class action suit or act responsibly and fix the problem it created?
