Glad to see Lunar out for Go users, though I’ll be getting the UMD special edition as it’s a lot more value for a little extra cash.

I’d like to echo the thoughts of other Go users – we paid a premium for the hardware so that you could lock us into one distribution channel devoid of piracy, why are we now being punished with inexplicable and inexscusable high pricing? Are we just being forced to cover the cost of entry for pirates now?

It’s bad enough bailing out the banks, we can’t afford to cover Sony’s mistakes as well – I’m afraid Sony isn’t “too big to fail”. Sort it out please, or we’ll all vote with our wallets and go elsewhere.

Lunar definitely a surprise decent job.

For those that still do not have VS or the various old squaresoft titles. Love that i can just slide in the disc whether chrono cross/xenogears/FF/VS/PE. Wouldn’t mind seeing an upgraded version of einhander for online multiplay and ehrgeiz. Two rather fun games just need a hint of an upgrade.

Give us some upgrades to some games that were great but not rpgs (got the entire collection of rpgs lol). Those that do not have the original of the rpgs clearly did not appreciate it. I’d take a jet moto upgrade and maybe a rerelease of battle arena toshiden (spelled wrong i know lol)

Hello Grace,

First, I would like to say that the updates have been pretty good for the last few weeks. Certainly there are titles that I would like to see added, but I think the existing content is good enough for now.

The problem is that there are a whole bunch of games that I would like to buy, but I can’t. I can’t buy them because I refuse to pay more for a digital download, then a PSP3000 owner pays for a UMD. Want some examples: Dissidia, Persona 3, Resistance: Retribution, Class of Heroes, Hot Shots Golf 2. All of these titles are $10 or $20 more expensive than their UMD counterparts. Is this how Sony rewards consumers who took a risk on the PSPGo? Really? It is no surprise that the best selling games are PSOne Final Fantasy titles while the titles above never rank in the top 10.

265

+ urienji on March 5th, 2010 at 7:51 am said:

continued…

My family’s first color TV was a Sony and in the 1980′s you had to have a Sony Walkman. For a generation, Sony has been synonymous with high quality. So, what’s happened? Why is Sony making obvious mistakes with the PSN?

I expected quality when I purchased the Go, and I admit that the system is very high quality. What is not high quality is the lack of support. I know most PSP3000 owners will say “you should have researched the PSPGo”. I did. And nowhere did anyone state that Sony would support the Go in a half-baked way. I assumed (because Sony has always been high quality) that new releases would be on the Go. Now there are rumors that Kingdom Hearts will not be on the Go. Not having the most anticipated game available on the Go should have been reason enough for Sony to not release the system. The amount of bad will Go owners will have will do more damage than good to your business model. It’s very sad because the Sony name used to mean so much more.

And for the love of God, please fix the Grand Theft Auto games. What kind of company keeps selling a product that they know is defective. They are consistently in your top 10 and they don’t work.

266

+ urienji on March 5th, 2010 at 7:56 am said:

And would it kill Sony to have someone answer the blog. That is what a blog is for.

I’ve seen a lot of once great companies crumble and it looks a lot like what is going on here. It just seems like Sony has given up.

I really would not be surprised to hear that Sony is going to dump their systems and just produce games for the Wii or the XBOX.

I will tell you all why sony devs dont reply to alot , i wouldnt reply to alot either, i cant believe how many people whine complain moan yell threaten sony every week, they are probably as tired of reading the bs as i am, way to many impatient people out there, sony does a great job and has since i owned my ps3. grow up people and be happy with what ya get. they cant please everyone 100% of the time. and do thier best.

It’s a shame PSP games don’t come down in price on the PSN like they do in retail, you’d kind of think with the lower overhead and expenses, they would, but I get you have to support your retail partners. Oh well. MLB The Show, LBP, and Dante’s Inferno will have to wait until you guys decide to do a pricedrop, or I elect to buy the UMD.

you need to start bringing all the old games from the arcade ( like mortal kombat 3 & tekken 3 ) plus cheaper mini games.a gameshark type program for the ps1 games. A way to find old game saves for the ps1 games. & what is truly sad, america is the biggest game market on earth but we have the least amount of games in psn store!!! I can’t speak for everyone but I’m tired of the small selection games!!! a trade in system would be great because a game with no trade value is worthless after it’s beat!!! here is a great idea, a ps3 program that allows you to make your own mini games & share them, that would be worth a monthly fee!!! I wll leave this comment by naming a few more games that would be great to have again, CONTRA, NINJA GAIDEN ORIGINAL TRIOGY, mike tyson’s punch, mortal kombat, sonic the hedgehog triogy, rad racer, killer instinct, silent scope, streets of rage triogy, castlevania triogy, silent hill 2, resident evil-code veronica, final fantasy 1-8, THE LEGEND OF DRAGOON!!! your store needs more games, I hope you listen to me because they don’t need to old playstation games for us to buy them!!!
