  • Good PSN Store Update! Grats Sony! Also I look forward to more info on PS Move!

  • hey, I was wondering if you guys would ever get tomb Raider chronicals? for psOne, Im dying o play that game again!

  • It’s funny how people were paying 20$ for MAG costume codes on ebay ))) And now it’s free hahahahaha It shows why we have to pay for freaking DLC which is must be free!!!!

  • When are we going to get a real set of Avatars? I mean we have enough games for you to make them with. Uncharted, Killzone, MGS, Infamous, Resistance 2, Batman, Demons Souls, & WNK. We should have Thousands of new avatars to choose from.

  • People, there’s no point in arguing with Darth-Krayt. He/She is a complete idiot.

He actually posted here once congratulating himself for stopping the negative reviews of MAG. He/She truly believes that his comments on the forum convinced major reviewers to delay their reviews.

  • For any of you guys wondering when we might see Blazblue here is a link to an article I found regarding the release of the game. Since Ms. Chen isn’t letting YOU (the loyal and dedicated consumer) know any information about the games that you want and are waiting for. CONSEQUENTLY, THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. There is no reason as to why we are not informed about upcoming PSN content. There has to be a better way to let them know that they need a restructuring of how they update the store. I hate the fact that there are no ways of contacting them, no information on when upcoming titles arrive, or any way of contacting the store staff if any problems occur.

    But I digress,

DISCLAIMER: You may not like what you read.

    Here’s the link:

    http://www.freexboxcheats.com/blazblue-portable-confirmed-for-us-retail-playstation-store

    Hope this help.

Remember, if they don’t want to hear us, then maybe Bill and Reggie would.

  • anybody else notice how we get less and less feedback to the criticism but they happy to say thank u for praise. funny how that works.

  • 146@Nynja

Do it. I have a iPod touch and haven’t touched my PSP since. The games are fun and cheap. Strangely enough I paid the same price for a 32GB Touch.

The apps make it much better. I go war driving all the time at work looking for illegal wi-fi.

  • also sony seriously u need to do one of two things. either give up on the psp platform and let us know u guys are abandoning it or make some real progress with the games and support. this is getting ridiculous. and for the love of god make ur digital download prices worth buying. everyone knows ur ripping prople off by charging the same price or actually more in most cases than the umd’s. its sad that they truly refuse to acknowledge that their brand name just isnt enough to carry a product in this hard economy. price point is everything.

  • 28@Moosehole

My feeling exactly. I don’t care what Jeff says about the store being harder then I imagine. I know for a fact that the content for the Thursday store is decided at lunch on Thursday. They scramble to put the content on the store before the monkey gets locked in the cage at night.

Build your database and HTML code during the week. Beta test it on Wednesday. Push the code out Thursday morning. How hard is it to shift your entire schedule days to the left and keep it on schedule.

Jeff, this is another fine example of behind the scenes. How about you do a blog feature on the store and what goes on behind it. I think it woudl make a rather interesting story.

  • If hope someone from Sony could please answer this question-

Why is it that there is not a set time for the Store to Update?

if you have trouble prepping the content for posting, perhaps the deadline on your end should be Wednesday. this would give you a full day to work out any technical issues, and ensure a timely and consistent Store Update time each week.

I am sure that I am not the only PS3 Consumer that is confused, and at sometimes frustrated by the consitently inconsistent Store Update times.

thank you for your time, I look forward to a response.

  • 156@improperlyaged

Feedback? Somebody posted a chart last week. Grace averages 1 response a week on the blog for everything she does. Jeff, Chris or the new guy should be at least trying, look at Ross at the EU blog.

I know how management goes and I’m sure Grace has little to no time, but seriously at least give some authority to the Social Media Directors to answer some questions.

PSP is dead. There are less then 20 PSP games for sale at my local Best Buy. TRU has on shelf of PSP games. My Fred Meyer is now down to one shelf.

  • Feeding Frenzy 2 was quite a surprise to me, i didnt hear about this game. keep the surprises coming sony :)

  • I’m not going to slag the PSN for the update. For the last few weeks they have put at least one or two things up that I have wanted so I can’t complain. But, the people that complain about the complaints really irritate me. They are either PS3 owners (people that can go to a store and buy a new game if they don’t like the update) or PSP3000 owners (people that pirate UMDs the day they are released. Neither group seems to care that PSPGo owners have legitimate issues with Sony.

    1. PSPGo owners are subjected to the Go Tax. $10 or more for games than the UMD cost.

    2. PSPGo owners can only buy what is available on download. Sony’s promise that future games would be UMD and Download seems to have been an empty promise. Apparently we are not going to be able to play the new Kingdom Hearts game. Why companies would want to continue to supporting the hacked UMD system as opposed to the secure Download is a mystery to me.

  • continued…

    3. Buggy downloads. Yes, Silent Hill was fixed, but all the Grand Theft Auto games lag. Sony knows this and Rockstar knows this and nothing has been done. The games are constantly in the top 10 downloads and they don’t work properly. Nice way to treat your customers.

    4. I have seen the same guy ask about Paypal for over two months and Grace can not be bothered to respond.

I will say that I am a bit disappointed that there was no new Final Fantasy game (FFIX, Crisis Core, Tactics (remake)) or Dissidia price cut to celebrate the release of FF XIII. Seems like a missed opportunity for Sony and Square Enix.

On the other hand there is a new Pokemon game this Sunday. So handheld gaming is not truly dead.

  • Urienji,

Where did you hear that the PSPGo would not be able to get a downloaded version of Kingdom Hearts.

I am a concerned PSPGo owner (and current 3000 owner as well) taht is anticipating the Kingdom Hearts release as I am the Blazblue download in two weeks.

Can you talk about that more or tell us were you heard that info.

    Thanks.

  • Here’s the article. It is still a rumor. But, Sony hasn’t bothered to address it.

    http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/23/rumor-kingdom-hearts-birth-by-sleep-not-releasing-on-psn/

  • Been waiting for the AOB to go on sales – special thanks to Capcom for giving the heads up.

As for all the whining about the PSP go – I would be pretty upset about it too…. The PSP 3000’s are on sale for 150$ (FS – I think) and 16 GB cards on for 90$ (Staples). And the UMD’s are constantly going on sale. Ofcourse this is only if you are Canada… :)

  • BarbieCar-

But the PSPGo is definitely a cooler device. As much as I hate the way the PSN is run, I really do like the Go. I have more than enough games to play on the system, but I really don’t like the lack of respect or consideration from Sony. $39 for Dissidia and Persona 3? I would buy both these games in a heart beat if they were $29.

  • IMPORTANT INFO FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR BLAZBLUE for the PSPGo download.

    HEY GUYS,

I just spoke with a staff member from Aksys Games who told me that if all of the proper channels go as planned we are expected to see the PSN release no later than March 25th (which is the normal day of the PSN’s store update). He eplained to me about some red tape situations that they have to get through before they are able to distribute it.

Hopefully this will ease some of out minds for the moment.

    Hope this helps.

Oh, and your welcome Ms Chen.

  • Lol
Weren’t those MAG uniforms only for those that preordered MAG in different stores?
Now the people who preorder aren’t going to feel special anymore XD

  • Demon’s Souls dynamic theme please.

  • I can honestly say this is the first time ever I don’t see anything worth downloading this week. Maybe because all the focus for Sony is at GDC this week. No God of War items when the big release is next week. You guys need to hire me for marketing.

  • mcbuttz78 ps3 extreme fan boy

    where are the avi’s?

Ans. SOny psn dont control avi’s by dev teams, it ups to you guys to hit up your favorite game dev and ask em for it. If the demand is there they will be made and this serves the purpose of the usa blog, marketing, information etc etc.. So if you have a favorite game hit up there web sites forums and demand ps3 avi support and will happen.

Ques. where the p go support
Ans. To my know how, the support is there, the games are there too, 175 go game sare inthe psn store to my knowledge.. ALot of peopl asking for exclusive games, that will happen trust me, but its up to you guys to start dl on psn store , and stop th wine whine moan moan,, f no games to buy there over 175+ games to digital download, as well as site to download music etc etc.. Best way to support is it to make support yourself.. et to downloading use the internet on it, that help the go fan base

  • cont. 4rm ABOVE..

WHY DONT GC REPLIE ONHE US BLOG BUY THE EU BLOG GET ATON OF REPLIES

ANS. i DONT THIS ONE. But my best guess is grace chen is working a week ahead of time to get these updates out and about. If grace chen dont do it who will?, I understand the gripe, but patience is a virtue.. Im a extreme fan boy, i know for a fact we not being ignored they hear our calls and cries, trust me your list of demands will be meet later but if not sooner.. Like grand father use to say “dont stand around yapping the line only get longer, there a smiles to made and thats what we do best…Lead by example

  • The MAG stuff sound’s cool i want the VALOR one xD

  • Another week with no PSOne Classics. Why am I not surprised? Thanks for MegaMan 10, though :D

  • MEGA MAN 10, ’nuff said, i’m off to the store…..

  • I personally think they need to add down loadable PS2 games like Final fantasy 10,11,12,GTA san andreas,Rouge galaxy something a little then the games in PSN stoe come sony hook us up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How about some vagrant story,or chrono cross in the PS1 classics

  • nice home update,

  • when is it that I would have to update my ps3?

  • I’d like to request Crash Team Racing for PSOne Classics!

    : )

  • *sigh*
more games for the PSP pls!!

I got the PSPgo for the reason of just downloading games…

  • Please bring Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash to the playstation store as a PSone Classic, they are on the Europe playstation store so it shouldn’t be too much trouble.

  • The EU still gets all the best PSone classics. We finally got Magic Carpet, but we’re still waiting on Fade to Black and Syndicate Wars. Not cool, Sony.

  • PSone classics I would love to see, Tomba!,Alundra,Parasite Eve and Arc the Lad.

  • I have a suggestion, not so much for Sony (Though they could make it policy like they
    did with making Trophies mandatory).

Get developers to start including Dynamic Themes and Avatars with their games.

  • Feeding Frenzy 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 are rip offs don’t buy them they don’t work

  • Great update! God of War III week better be good! I know it will be a challenge, but please Playstation try your hardest.

  • why do you guys make us buy some new movies for 14.99? it sucks because you have no closed captions or extras, plus I can get the DVD from NETFLIX or REDBOX. I might rent them if you had them for rent but I’m not buying some crappy movie

  • I agree with everyone. Sony needs to update the psn game store early in the morring. I mean Sony can have the Comic store updated at a reasionable time but not the game store. What gives!!!!!!

  • BRING BACK PS3 BOOT SOUND

  • there is no video option button on the playstation store for me can anyone help

  • i am a new fan of final fantasy any chance of trying to get all of the final fantasy games for download as a pack except for final fantasy xiii?
